I have to admit I found it ODD that this father was caring for her rather than the mother and many of my opinions have been biased with the idea that Indian fathers were too macho to care for their children. My ignorance and lack of research led me to believe he had "evil" (sexual) motives for those 3am feedings.
According to this article and others - Indian men are stepping up to become the primary caregivers for their children.

But, with that being read/said WHY was he the one doing it IF Mom was no longer working outside the home???
My judgments are also based on his WORDS - concerning how he punished her by putting her outside alone - and then later - force feeding her -watching her choke and not calling for help, plus his ACTIONS - taking that precious baby and stuffing her into a gutter.
So even if he didn't sexually abuse this child - everything else he did is more than enough to give him a life sentence IMO and he is without question one of the WORST EXAMPLES of parenting.

Where did you hear she was not working outside the home?

As of up to now, I feel that she is in an absolutely unthinkable position. That could change as more information comes out, of course, but for right now I feel she's been battered, controlled, terrified.

The only thing that gives me pause is the nursing job.

She very well may be battered. And if so, I do have tremendous sympathy for that. But for her daughter's sake and for justice, she must speak up. There is a line with fear and eventually one crosses into complicity in protecting criminal actions. Silence is now protecting the person who killed her child, whether she is intending to do that or not. JMO.

I do wonder if her lawyer is saying as much.

If sherin had an attachment issue like
Rad which is common in international adoptees it's possible she was more attached to her father. Often the mother is seen as someone who is always leaving the child and can't be trusted. Her previous care givers were likely woman which leads to a distrust with the mother as a care giver. It would also
Explain how loving Sharin looks to people at her church. The child could appear to be loving to strangers but not her mother. Ive seen many cases of this and it is heartbreaking.

I agree with you, to a point.

However, I still think there is someone else involved in this situation.

I have a legit question....if they used DENTAL records and made a point of saying that is how ID was made, does that mean parents didnt help? Or does it simply mean dental records were used? just curious

His wife was battered and abused so badly that she was able to think clearly enough to hire her own lawyer and not cooperate with police. Nah, I'm personally not buying that. Time will tell, but I don't believe she was abused to the point of allowing him to abuse/kill Sherin or at the least, not cooperate with police.

She could have been too badly decomposed, or they wanted a for-sure identification, even with the parent's help

I'm guessing here. If the body was in poor condition it's possible the mother identified the clothing and they used dental records to confirm.

Have they indicated when autopsy results will be released?

I wouldn't imagine they would release those results until they are fully satisfied with clearing the mother, and since they are pleading with her to talk to them, it sounds like they might not have done that.

Thats so sad. I wonder why her attorney isn't telling her to speak with them or why he hasn't made some sort of announcement about her being in grief and unable to speak or something to explain her silence?

Her attorney did make a statement to that effect (grieving) early on.

I don't know why anyone would expect her attorney to urge her to talk to LE UNLESS IT WOULD BE IN THE CLIENT'S BEST INTEREST. There are some automatic risks associated with talking to LE. One is the risk of committing perjury inadvertently through being asked to tell a story repeatedly. Memory can be tricky and the mind tends to fill in holes of missing information, and to change to accommodate new information.

I also don't know that she has a separate criminal attorney at present (esp as she has not been charged with anything), but Kent Star was brought in for the custody issues. Protecting the custody case may require some distance from Dad, the things he is charged with and any suspicions she may ever have had about what he might be capable of. I cannot see any reason he would simply urge her to volunteer for any new questioning. If there is some over-riding purpose in doing so, I can imagine that he offer some legal protection.(be the guy in the room to tell her when she doesn't have to answer any self-incriminating questions, etc).

Anyone else having problems reading this thread? For the last two or three days I have been able to read a page or two, then the posts don’t come up.

Same thing was happening to me for the last few days on my iPad. I just switched over to Tapatalk a little bit ago. So far, so good on the app.

But she wasn't working outside the home anymore, right???
Does anyone know why she wasn't? Could the resentment I've read others mention be because WM thought she should stay home with Sherin because of her Special Needs???
The latest videos that show her remind me of a robot - just following directions from others. This could simply be SHOCK, not any sign of knowledge that her husband could be so evil.

I dont recall ever seeing anything about her job besides shes a nurse..

Having a speech delay isnt really a special needs though...esp not enough to be home all day...

So she dies 'accidentally' ? Why did he hide her body if it was an innocent tragic accident?

His sleeping wife is a nurse. If their baby wasn't breathing, why not wake up the NURSE and let her do CPR, and try to clear the airways?

His actions make no sense, imo, if this was an innocent accidental injury.

Sini supplied the dental records. I assume that because of weather conditions, warm then rainy, decomp may have made a visual id less than ideal.
