GUILTY TX - Sherin Mathews, 3, Richardson, 7 Oct 2017 #9

  • #781
WM letter to SM close to one year anniversary - no mention, not even missing her.
Does talk about recipes and puzzles he has done.

  • #782
Only concerned for himself. No worries at all about this little one.

  • #783
Diaz excused with possibility of recall.

  • #784
His actions sure speak louder than his words.

I'm going to rewind to where I left off I think, so I can catch up on what I missed ...

WM asked why he didnt call 911 as it was an emergency.
Diaz says why when you speak about bio daughter, you use her name, when you talk about Sherin, you call her "the girl" and never her name.

WM too scared to wake Sini and tell her. So he decides to put her somewhere. Wants to do something honourable with her body, she is not a dog!
Wraps her in a plastic bag. Takes the bag and some trash to the car.
Repeats that he doesnt want to dishonour her. Put the trash in a dumpster.

Even DOGS have NAMES! I'm fuming over here~ this poor , sweet, fragile child. She had zero chance in that household. Once the attention from the adoption wore off, she was discarded like yesterday's news. I can't even begin to imagine all of the emotional shunning that occurred.

I think it was that WM was "duped" into adopting a child with extra needs, he said as much.

DIrector of the REACH clinic (at-risk children of neglect etc) up now.

This horrible monster should be served nothing but milk for the rest of his days, through a beer bong, until he gags.

Sherin admitted to hospital in Feb 2017. Had infection or issue with her shoulders.

  • #790
She was put on AB.
MRI found that her bones were broken, not infected. Referred to REACH as suspected neglect or abuse.

Sep 2016 was admitted to hospital, had fallen off a couch and had an elbow injury. Admitted for surgery. Its caused by falling back on an out-stretched arm. Needs to be pinned.

  • #792
SM told Drs - Sherin's birthday was unknown, so unsure of her exact age. She had been fed rice & coffee creamer at her orphanage. Had always been small. Was not growing all that well.

  • #793
I don't know that we ever got confirmation it was just milk they were giving her. It very likely could have been Pediasure or some other variation. They may have just called it her milk because that's what bio drank.

Defence suggest agent used the most "shocking" photos of Sherin's body to show the jury.

Yes, I'm sure there are perfectly not shocking photos of a decomposed 3 year old?

Bio duaghter wakes up, is cranky because Sherin is gone, keeps asking for her.

Somebody in that house loved Sherin. Good.

Sherin's symptoms - she was in pain when she moved her arms. They found that her shoulders were fractured.

  • #795
These were traumatic injuries, unusual to see in shoulder. Not usual from normal falls.

  • #796
History provided by parents did not match the injuries. Bilateral shoulder fractures do not occur by lifting a child up.

  • #797
Dr had serious concerns about Sherin. Had a full skeleton survey (xrays).

  • #798
Xrays found additional femur and tibia fractures that were older, plus the elbow fracture.

  • #799
Femure/tibia were too fractured to tell how they occurred. Would have been painful (probably).

  • #800
It is concerning to see a small child to have multiple violet injuries unexplained and at different times.
