Hi Murkywaters its been awhile .. hope all is well. It came from newspapers I tried to go back to the quote and add information however it was too late. You know I always include my sources.

Sherrye Lee Dean-Taylor-Bethel

Sherrye had been married twice, 1972 and 1974 the photo is from the 1972 marriage - Fort Worth Star-Telegram Jul 31 1972.

A request for divorce by her 2nd husband was filed in Mar 76 and it was finalized in July 77. one year after Sherrye's disappearance.

Still researching I will post whatever else I may find

Details of Disappearance
Bethel was last seen in Fort Worth, Texas on July 15, 1976. Her husband of two years, who was the last person to see her, stated she simply left him and their one-year-old child. She has never been heard from again.

Bethel was married twice; her previous marriage lasted from July 1972 to February 1974, and she married her second husband three months after her divorce was final. She was in the process of a divorce from her second husband at the time of her disappearance; he filed in March of 1976, and the divorce was finalized in July 1977, a year after she was last seen. Few details are available in her case.

I agree. Her wedding was on 5/30/1974. Divorce proceedings were initiated by the husband in March of 1976. Did they try and reconcile and maybe take a trip to California for their second wedding anniversary on 5/30/1976?
