Now, every time I post I have to refresh the screen so the "thank's" button shows up. Anyone else have this problem now?

Warning rant ahead! I gotta say I would never ever , ever advocate suicide but this guy has the b**** to point a gun at women and babies and pull the trigger, but now when you're surrounded by cops, you got cold feet? Thought you were a bada$$ .What happened? For every penny spent on housing, transporting, defense, incarceration, let alone this MONSTROUS standoff right now, parents could be burying your victims ! The surviving parents and siblings could get counseling to get through the hell you've brought to their home ! There are between 2 and 10 PARENTS who lost a baby today !!!!!!!!!!!!! And you want to threaten suicide? Did you threaten to kill them and give them any warning to protect themselves or talk you out of it? But you want someone to talk you out of it ?

What about this mother fighting for her life? Her baby is dead. Maybe more than one baby of hers is dead. Who knows what she saw , thought or felt when this happened. Does she know her baby's gone? Can we take a moment to pray, wish, meditate on her behalf?

Threatening suicide? Run, don't walk, dude !

I totally get how you feel - and there is a part of me that sits here furious about what a chicken$hit this guy is, that he kills children and yet sits here and won't pull the trigger on himself.

But my head has to remind me that we need to hold these POSs accountable. Suicide or death would be an easy way out. I think the public, as a community, as well as the family and friends of the victims, need to see these people called to publicly answer for what they have done. They should have to make some kind of accounting - even if they never testify, and sit there silently. IMO they need to be made to go through that, and we the community (represented in court by the prosecution - there is a reason that cases are titled "the people vs..." Or "the state/commonwealth vs so-and-so"... Because it is all of us holding them accountable, and really all of us who are affected!) need it too.

Jmo... But I empathize, trust me!

4 children, 2 adults dead in Spring-area shooting

View attachment 54544

Six people, including four children, were killed and another adult wounded Wednesday afternoon in a shooting at a suburban home in Spring, and a suspected gunman was cornered in a cul de sac a few miles away after a short car chase with police officers.

Harris County Precinct 4 Assistant Chief Deputy Mark Herman said three children and two adults died at the scene of the shooting at a home in the 700 block of Leaflet Lane. Another child died after being airlifted to Memorial Hermann Hospital, and the condition of an adult also flown to the hospital was not known.

Herman said that authorities responded to a report of a shooting at about 6 p.m., where they found a woman and child who had both been shot in the head.

The woman was able to tell officers that the shooting arose from a domestic dispute, involving "someone who had left the family."

According to Herman, one of the two victims transported to Hermann Memorial Hospital, a young girl, had died.

Herman said that one of the victims, who had been shot in the head, told emergency responders that the shooter was a relative and on his way to shoot other relatives.

Authorities were dispatched to the home of the relatives, who live near Anvil and Ponderosa Drive.

"As soon as they got over there, he came driving up, and that's when the chase started," Herman said, crediting the information with saving their lives.

From some of the pictures I've seen, looks like the police/swat are up close to him and yet nothing is happening. The guy doesn't look scared or anything..

It looks like the tank in back has moved. I don't think the car has, though.
