According to the Bexar County Sheriff's Office, Dramiga was reported missing by her husband on Sunday, Sept. 22, 2024, after not returning from a morning walk. She had reportedly left her home that morning around 10 a.m. to walk the trails at Comanche Park. A CLEAR Alert was also issued for Dramiga.

The murder spiked concern for the safety of runners and walkers that use the city trails. Salazar urged people to be aware of their surroundings and to notify somebody of where you are going to be.

The sheriff’s office told People that Flores was around the scene at the time that Dramiga’s body was found and spoke to investigators.

“While Flores was speaking with the Deputy, Flores provided some details regarding the victim’s condition that were not released to the public,” the office said.

Dramiga left her residence at 10 a.m. to walk the trails at Comanche Park, located at 2600 Rigsby Ave., but her vehicle was later found at Covington Park, 2336 Rigsby Ave. Her body was discovered the following day at Dafoste Park, 210 Da Foste Ave., where she had been murdered.

BCSO said Flores was with a deputy at the scene when he “provided details regarding the victim’s condition that were not released to the public.”

Flores was charged with evading arrest, but he was not charged in connection to Dramiga’s death. Court records show that he has since been released on bail in September. His case was closed in December, court records show.
