Lubbock police asking for help in locating missing, endangered woman after being kidnapped

LPD is asking the public for help in locating a missing and endangered woman in an aggravated kidnapping Tuesday night. Here's what we know:

Through the initial investigation, it appears that Williams went outside and heard 40-year-old Jabaar Smith struggle outside the apartment. Williams was then taken against her will by a male suspect, at which point the suspect shot Smith and fled the scene with Williams.

Miguel Garcia, 42, was taken into custody by the Lubbock Police Department’s SWAT Team just after 4:00 p.m. in the 100 block of East Tulane Street, LPD said.

I wonder if Miguel was known to Stacey?

I'm sure there was a history of DV on Garcia's part, but THIS is what lead him to kidnap and murder Stacey? What a monster.
