A man accused of killing his wife said he was holding her facedown on the floor during an exorcism when the devil entered his body and caused her to die, according to a probable cause statement.

Sure, try to convince a Judge that the "Devil made me do it".

Well where is the offer of proof. This man is the devil for killing his wife. You cannot call an "alternate" theory without providing said Devil to take the stand and give evidence.

Reasonable doubt does not include blaming the Devil.

If the circumstances were not so tragic and a women lost her life, I would find this way too funny.
