San Antonio Police said a DNA match led to the arrest of Christopher Allen, 30, for the murder of 46-year-old Tammy Fudge. (PHOTO: San Antonio Police Department)
October 8th 2024
'Fudge's body was found around 11 a.m. on March 4, 2018 near the intersection of W. Travis Street and N. Flores Street.'

''In a significant breakthrough in a long-standing cold case, the San Antonio Police Department's Cold Case Detectives revisited the evidence and resubmitted latent fingerprints for analysis in a comprehensive database search. This effort led to a match, pinpointing a suspect previously off the radar. Following this development, investigators conducted an interview and, with a search warrant in hand, collected DNA swabs from Allen.

In September 2024, forensic analysis confirmed that the DNA obtained from Allen was a match to samples collected at the crime scene, establishing probable cause for further action. Consequently, an arrest warrant for murder was sought and granted.''
