Ex-NFL player Kevin Ware got 30 years for killing his girlfriend, Taylor Pomaski, who was 29. Her remains were found about a year after she was reported missing.

Former NFL player Kevin Ware pleaded guilty Wednesday to murder and tampering with a human corpse charges related to the death of his ex-girlfriend, according to the Harris County District Attorney's Office.

He was sentenced to 30 years in prison.

Back on Dec. 12, 2022, on the day his trial was set to begin, Ware pleaded guilty to drugs and weapons charges in Montgomery County.

The 41-year-old took a plea deal for his drug and weapons charges and was given a 15-year concurrent sentence for both charges.

Girlfriend's family describes toll of 2021 murder after former NFL player pleads guilty
