There are way too many coincidences in this case. I feel like a broken record, but what MPD isn't saying to me says more than they are. I'm going by the lack of recent updates-I know they may have said stuff in the past...

1. They're not currently all over the news and SM asking for tips directly from the public...yes, the articles include every tip line...but, they haven't done any new press release in a while.
2. They're not telling people (directly from MPD officially) that there's a murderer and the town should be scared and on edge.
3. They haven't officially from their pages cleared anyone.

I think they're very strategic in what they say and have someone (or really multiple people) they're watching. Why would they show their cards and risk compromising the case? It's one thing to have strong suspicions, and another to have an airtight case that will nail this creep in jail. Their whole job is based on security of the community. Yes, there's corrupt people in every career, but I personally don't think they're getting enough credit. I could be completely wrong and that's ok.

I have to stick with my gut that this was a very personal, targeted and gruesome murder.

I've never followed a case this close and if it wasn't local, I probably wouldn't. It's fascinating to see the skills people have on here. I truly hope they're close to an arrest! ALL JMO

Actually, I'm not quite sure that I believe SP won't crack. SP just needs to vent to the right person who may be motivated by money or something else to tell. It'll happen.

Or SP and a spouse are involved. No need to vent to anyone else. IMO, the motive boils down to money.

Will tiptoe here for I support LE. The total time LE spent at the CS seems minimal. Techs needed to process the entire area where MB was, the closet and door that SP opened, the Kitchen, the doors, glass left broken or unbroken. It appears a daunting task.

Midlo officials did say, last April, they did not understand the movements of the SP in the church. Hopefully, someone studies SP on vid every day for clues so they possess better understanding now.
 If the Altima is connected, why did SP want to be on camera at both locations? Why was that important to SP? In the church vid, SP looks straight at us. That's confidence and boldness.

As discussed before IMO The perp probably knew that the local PD would be inexperienced in processing the murder scene ( based on reports that murder is rare in Midlo.) and he/ she would have that advantage. The FBI , ATF, Tx Rangers showing up soon after was very likely not anticipated by perp and IMO perps actions after murder should stand out. So what would a panicked perp likely do I wonder? Stay put? Maybe leave a job? Leave town?

Does anyone remember the name of the gym that Missy used?

By the time the scene was cleared, do you think that MPD was even aware of all of SP's wanderings? I wonder when MPD concluded SP spent a lot of time in the kitchen.
Same here. One of my top questions.

Hey guys! I'm new to this case and admittedly pretty far behind. I've tried catch up as much as possible but have missed A LOT. Im having trouble identifying key players (initials that are used here). And I have tried to find CWs FB but there are SO many! Just curious as to what SW I should be looking at to get these names? Sorry I know I'm way behind! Praying for justice. Oh one more thing! How do people know who this unnamed POI is already?

Just got done watching more videos posted by SWFA and wow they have some serious zoom capabilities on their cameras! You can watch a customer count his $100s and then unlock his phone. I even got his phone password after a couple playbacks lol... I'll bet they were able to create much better shots of Altima driver and police know much more than we do. I hope.

I imagine those zoom capabilities are only useful if someone is doing the zoom in real time while recording. Not after the fact.

If person had military experience then they're most likely trained to handle death in a different way than most...so a change in behavior may not be super obvious. JMO

Do you turn your blinker on when leaving an empty parking lot?

Sure do. Doesn't matter if the lot is empty or not. In a lot of states you can get a ticket for failing to signal when leaving a parking lot. I'm sure most cops wouldn't enforce, but if you catch onewho's having a bad day..

RBBM. I understand, but what I was saying is we do not know whether the family viewed her prepared body in private or not. I sure it was awful because of the whole situation and circus atmosphere afterwards. And closed family private time. You know there would be looky lous there to LOOK if it were open. So I sure some was for respect for MB. JMHO

Jethro, does the latest video of the Altima give you any more certainty about your POI and the pics you found at someone's place of employment using google earth many months ago? And, has the house that was "blurred" been sold since say Sept/Oct/Nov?

Turns out I have a family member that knows the "blurred house" owners and they have told me that there is no way in God' green earth either of them is capable of murder.

Many social media have been locked down or deleted but you can find info here.

ArkansasMimi had posted this link in the Media thread.

As for knowing who the unnamed POI is? We don't really, but it was assumed by some to be (and was all over private Facebook groups) a particular person that Midlothian Police today said they had cleared. There are a few links to the article a few pages back.

Here's one thing in NG's video that jumped out at me that has never been discussed. The reason is, I saw it first hand on local LE releases, just a few times... then the video was edited where "bits" were edited. I didn't know enough to take a "video" of the video as backup, being a rookie at this sleuthing. I didn't dare bring it up because I couldn't prove it... but NG JUST did, so I know I'm not losing my mind.

That being said.. When I FIRST saw the video locally, I watched intently as SP was going thru the church, opening doors and such. At one point the video camera didn't "shut off", it looked like a hand or black scarf or something slowly covered the lens. I would compare it to a slow eyeblink. When I looked at the edited version of LE's released version - that cover the lens part was edited. It made me doubt myself... but I know what I saw. I just couldn't provide a link for WS. T ONITE, in NG's release, she mentions a "blackout" at 7:08-7:10. You can see where it looks like a hand or scarf covered the lens. Have a look and see if you see that. Of course that might support the 2 perp theory... because one SP was in the hallway, I believe. Just check it out. TU!

I get a feeling from LE of the Mickey Schunick case. They have so much more than they are saying. The car, I remember all the footage of the white truck and the analysis of what people saw in the footage of the truck. I hope this case is solved soon. I'm not a sleuth, just like reading so I have nothing to add. I honestly am at a loss here as far as who done it. I just hope Missy gets justice soon.

One thing about the SWFA video... whether it is any way tied to MB murder or not.... JMHO A Def Attorney will most likely use it to try to create reasonable doubt. So for that I hope that MPD exhausted every resource possible on that.

I wonder if the gym Missy frequented has surveillance cameras...and if so, the video was pulled from right around the time Missy started acting strange, then around the time she stopped going to the gym, and again after she was killed. If the Altima is OWNED by SP (best case scenario), and had an eye out to kill her, wouldn't SP become familiar with everywhere she went and possibly stalk her? All JMO, but it would be interesting to know if this Altima has also been at the gym she worked out at.
