Well, we could do a pro and con list of death vs divorce. I don't know if it would help us any though.
Anyone come across a possible perp with prior or current LE experience? Maybe even military police training?
As for the cameras, I guess I watched movies in my past lifetime..but I would have brought a can of spray paint with me, and just painted those camera lenses. YET, from what we know, the cameras weren't damaged. The person WANTED to be seen, or knew that being seen wouldn't reveal who they are. I don't know which. Early in the case people wondered if the perp was taunting the LE. Maybe they are.
Now, PROS to divorce:
If Missy was having affairs and that could be proved, would they still have to split everything half? Or would she get less and maybe even have to pay him for emotional neglect or whatever it's called? I have no idea what the laws on divorce in TX are!
They would both be free to do what they want.
Both could remarry, if they wanted.
CONS to Divorce:
If everything had to be divided, well that could become an issue. Someone not wanting to part with any of the property, home, any savings, IRA's, retirement plans, etc.
Child support depending on who ended up with the kids.
Alimony? Don't know how that works in TX.
PROS to murder vs Divorce
Kids collect a monthly check until age 18 or they finish high school.
Husband would collect a check if he wanted as caretaker of kids.
Rid the person and gain financially.
If income is low enough, kids would get insurance through the state?? Not sure TX law on that.
No longer have to worry about Missy being a part of BB's life.
No worry of seeing her with another man.
No worry of seeing her succeed financially.
CONS of murder vs divorce
Kids not having their Mommy.

Possibility of prison for murder.
Depending on morals, lifetime of guilt.
BUT, taking BB out of the equation..and instead inserting a spouse who was pissed about Missy's affairs. What if the other person was married. That can hurt. I personally would just say forget it, file for divorce and be done. But if the person wanted their spouse back, and wanted their marriage... They could be angry enough to place all blame on Missy, and none on their spouse, or make their spouse prove their devotion to her, by murdering Missy...
I just don't know. but I don't think this was random. If it was, I'll be eating lots of crow! Can I have BBQ sauce with it at least? Maybe a roll or two?
As for removing a bullet, if one was used, most likely there wouldn't have been a need. The bullet would have passed through the body, lodged in a wall, or into the floor. Most bullets are powerful. They don't just enter and sit there. Sometimes they bounce off bones, other times they go through bones. Speaking from a hunter stance only.
Buckshot...you have LOTS of pellets left inside. The main reason I won't eat wild turkey. Not gonna sit there and pick all those pellets out! If a rifle is used, or pistol, the ammo is different. Many bullets enter will just a small place about the size of the bullet, but exit leaving a HUGE area. With deer, there's usually a portion of meat that is blood filled, bruised, and I feed that to my dogs rather than save it. SHHHHH don't tell on me!
Squirrels, a shot to the head, and basically the head isn't there. Body shot, and you don't have much meat, which really there's only meat on the legs anyway.
I have NEVER cleaned a deer and found the bullet. I'm not sayign it doesn't happen with certain ammo, but just personally I have never seen one. Most hunters aim for slightly behind the front legs, where it will enter the heart, and exit the other side. Less damage to the meat that is useful.
