SP has seemed to be either left-hand dominate or very ambidextrous to me, fwiw

Thank you! I would to see a reference/source. Seems odd that in the midst of a murder of a family member, one would have the time and presence of mind to get on FB.
Friends were sending their condolences. People get notifications on smartphones like they have. I see people on Social Media all the time during happy, or grieving times. JMHO, I personally do not think one way or another about it, especially how it was presented. It was in reply down in comments not a post giving condolences and asking if had made it in yet, and relied yes Monday night

ETA. I gave the info when was said at the time VB was public. The ss was public but the page no longer is and it is against TOS for me to post. I personally like links too, in this situation I can only give sourse. Possible to Google otherwise it jmho from reading prior and reading my ss.

I am looking for any video showing Midlothians gathering for Missy's memorial and BB talking to the crowd. That was on Tuesday, I believe. There were several versions of the same event. If interested, I'll share particulars.

Thanks!

Agreed w/cost of shirt vs. cost of dry-cleaning. Dry cleaning was most likely a red herring for a "photo spot" with media.

Yep back when they were basking in the media glow

MrsPC, regarding the gloves and /or the pry bar, I looked at the pictures again and am backing up for the moment of seeing a tool in SP's right hand. I have to go back to the original frames and get a better idea of what may very well be an optical illusion between something in SP's hand / something on the right glove and the tool peeking out of his or her right pocket (pants).

Again, just wanted to let you know. We'll look at it together.

It is NIN, in slow motion you can see it appears to be something in hand then not. Not sure if spliced there or not.

Totally agree!! And as many of us have said before ... why is a single woman posting on your Facebook .."hope you made it" I never could understand why she would communicate that publicly. Seems she would text it since he's married....JMO

prior arrangements, imo......

Re: LE checking on BB whereabouts.............LE, if thoroughly vetted BB alibi, would CERTAINLY know where BB's phone was when they spoke with him on the day of the murder. JMO Hopefully, they know where MT was, as well as the rest of the family.

It may be super old news but I was standing in line at chipoltle today and I saw the new edition of the Dallas Observer, our alternative newspaper here in North Texas. Have you seen the article about websleuths and the Bevers case? I'm sorry I've been entrinched in work and when I cant sleep I've been catching up on a few missing cases so I'm way behind here.

Just my :twocents: on the article. It highlights very well exactly why LE find social media to be very frustrating when they are investigating. Social media can be a great tool for investigators and it can also be a huge hindrance, depending on the case and how it is used. I only wish the reporter had not repeatedly referred to people posting in FB groups discusing this case as Web Sleuths.

The article was about FB groups and was not about this site. Which makes me sad. Websleuths doesn't allow much of what is seen and said on social media sites for the very reasons the article highlights. Witchhunts develop in the wild wild west of social media.

It makes me all the more thankful that we have the rules we do.

Here is a link to the article: http://www.dallasobserver.com/news/...-in-missy-bevers-murder-investigation-9129736

I don't think they are specifically refering to our Websleuths here, but using the term "web sleuths" to identify the posters on all social media sites including FB pages, etc. Not the best written article, but interesting.

That's true - we have learned alot more details since then. But that doesn't explain the original video that I personally saw, as did others. I replayed that part over and over trying to see if I could tell if it was a scarf or a gloved hand that made the video go black. Days later, when I checked again, the video had been edited. I did not save a copy of the "original" video (probably because I don't know how..) :blushing:

Edited to complete the sentence that my fingers forgot to complete.

Thanks for standing, Rodee! It takes guts to remember, remind, and remain resolute!

Together we can do this!!

The stuff people share and post of FB has always perplexed me. Some people post or check in multiple times a day including play by play updates on basic daily routine type things, other post regularly and others post/check-in sporadically. From what I've seen from my "friends" on FB I really don't think the timing of FB posts or check-in's tell us very much.

I totally agree. I never check in when I'm just around town, but if I'm on vacation or at a cool place then I will check in.

on the killer's glove photo I posted earlier -I was thinking it was an emblem on the glove and some thought it was a reflection...but after studying more screen captures from the MPD video - I don't think it's an emblem...and it would be odd for it to be a reflection only on a portion of the glove. I now think it's a tactical type glove with a knuckle protector, and I think the knuckle protector section is what is reflecting.

Here's an example:
