May 6, 2016 - Police interviewed BWH.
December, 2016 - Police executed a SW on BWH’s property.
Sometime between May and December, the FBI worked with Dr. Nirenberg to analyze gait from the church video as well as footage of some POIs including BWH. In the December warrant, they noted that he had ruled out those POIs except for BWH who he could not rule out.

The warrant bore no fruit except for the unrelated 🤬🤬🤬🤬 charge. BWH was released from jail and cleared in the Bevers case in September 2017.

In early 2018 Andy Vaughan was named the lead investigator in the case. One warrant was executed during his time as the lead - a Jan 2019 geofence warrant which as of 2021 has not resulted in any follow-up warrant. Geofence warrants are for anonymous data, so the fact that there has been no follow-up warrant for subscriber data is not a good sign.

In 2020, Vaughan was no longer on the Bevers case. He is now a commander in the Patrol division. MPD has brought in two detectives formerly from Mansfield, a CID commander from Arlington with decades of experience, and a retired federal agent whose primary focus is the Bevers case.

These personnel changes did lead to fresh eyes on the case and a new focus of investigation last year on a POI. Police have not been in touch with Dr. Nirenberg since 2016. That means either they have not sent him footage of the POI, or else the POI was included in the 2016 batch that the doctor ruled out.

And if the person that police arrest turns out to be as opposite to BWH as night is to day, how convincing do you think gait analysis from the same expert will be to the jury?
I don't know, how the gait analysis should be done after 5 years and more, when a suspected SP is caught finally. If the gait in 2016 occurred temporarily only because of a recent injury AND if SP was drunk during the crime, it would be difficult for an assessment without these conditions. Though the fundamental problem for knee injuries still might be determined, possibly. But then it's not done with a video from an "anonymous" person for Dr. Nirenberg, I think.

The fundamental problem here, once again, is that the church video SP is never going to be able to be compared to an actual POI in this case because whoever they might arrest is not going to be an actual tactical officer, and they will never convince any suspect to put on similar gear and walk for them. Tactical officers do not walk the same in uniform as they do in civilian clothing. And the actual uniform seen on the video has long since been discarded, never to be found.

I think police were walking back the significance of gait in the 5-year press release when they mentioned that the right foot injury might have been a temporary condition. These media interviews with Dr Nirenberg have gotten people talking about gait analysis, but they need to realize that it isn’t new. It’s 4-year-old information and doesn’t reflect LE’s current line of investigation. The media are just covering it because they didn’t cover it before, and because they have nothing else to talk about.

I don't doubt that LE's leads and ideas have evolved over time, and are likely to continue to do so.

Will a suspect be identified at some point where the podiatrist will be needed? So far they've apparently lacked a suspect since BWH, so who knows. As they have explained to us before, a POI isn't even considered a suspect yet, in their terminology. He's just someone they are looking closer at.

My observation is
1 They did need and consult with him when they had an actual suspect serious enough to execute a SW on, and for use as evidence in order to get that SW.
2 He hasn't been used since then because they apparently haven't found another suspect. Sounds like they're still sifting POI's to see if any suspect emerges, and shuffling "eyes" to try to aid in that quest.
3 My guess is we will see what happens if/when LE gets another person they consider to be an actual suspect and they want to search or arrest.

Personally, I think all the quibbling over possible gait fakery, or about it being temporary, or about it being a product of the costume, is over-thinking the obvious.

Assuming the perp is found one day, when all is said and done, I think their gait will clearly fit what's seen in the video, and be readily recognizable to all. IMO that was and will continue to be a key identifier in finding who did this evil.

bbm

I think, it will rather be the damn SWFA car with a disabled sticker or not than the person's gait, wandering the hallways in a costume, what will be a key identifier.

My poi at least had surgery and wouldn't still walk in 2021 as he did in the video.
My poi is the same poi, I have in case of Abby/Libby, Delphi. He has quasi the same injury (if it is one) in 2016 and in 2017, and their eyes (Delphi: sketch #2 YBG and Missy: one single pic of his head, which showed his relatively young eyes) are verrry similar too. (I don't have the pic any more.) IMO
Yes, we will see .... (nothing to do but waiting, burn my mouth, waiting, hoping, burn my mouth, hoping).

I lean toward this too, because of the "over-thinking" bit. Of couse, fakery or temporary injury is certainly a possibility, and I place that in the "set aside" but "don't throw out entirely" part of my thinking on this. Keep it in mind, just in case there are other clues that line up behind that one, but use the irregular gait as part of my working theory until one day it isn't.

Interesting idea, but "evidence based on lack of evidence" arguments (in this case, the idea that there must have been multiple perps in the building because we don't see multiple people) are always the weakest and least likely to be true.

I don't discount this -that there may have been multiple perps in the building, but yes, it's a very weak argument here. Also, it's just so. much. more. complicated. Before we know it, our perp(s) will carrying out Jack Bauer-esque plans, all for a burglary or the murder of a single woman, not a global espionage plot. It just sort of seems very unlikely to me.

Trying to make this somehow pertinent to MB case sounds like much ado about nothing, to me.

You have people who in real time made poor choices (but the sort of choices that challenge people in every type of business) and rather than people ignoring it, it's getting corrected - all of which is a good thing. No PD in the world, or company either, has all perfect people who don't make mistakes or make errors in judgment. That's just life. You fix it and move on.

How do we know the shoes are oversized/wrong size for the SP? Just curious. And if they are a phony shoe size then what does that tell us about the perpetrator?

I've been embedded in a Missing Person's case turned Murder 1 by a husband killing his wife. Recent chat pertains to the DarkWeb aka Tor.

My ears pricked when it was stated that using the Tor browser is a method in which some folks seek to hire killers, as well as, seek drugs for purchases, etal.

As I recall, using the Tor browser app is a way to trade 🤬🤬🤬🤬 images, too, because it's like surfing the Dark WorldWideWeb incognito, as it leaves no trace or trail by the users.

I've never used the Tor browser option, but Missy's hired killer may have been located in this manner.

GS mentioned Person 1 would need to exercise caution so they don't hire a CI (confidential informant) instead of the SP seen in the Church video, by example.
Edit to add: JAHOO

But I have to wonder if any “innocent errors in judgement” have taken place around this murder investigation. I would offer that when someone’s business involves direct punishment and effects on other people’s lives, there is no room for such nonsense. From the article above, it doesn’t appear they are doing much at all to correct this either. As with all of these agencies, they are just hoping this will die down and they move on.

Okay, sorry to interrupt, another image here from the SWFA video. If you have seen videos online/ YT or images of a woman sitting in the front passenger seat of the Nissan Altima driving over the NW parking lot, it is an optical illusion.

Here is an image of what it is. Please feel free to share online:

Disregard the face of the driver at this time. I solely focused on that object located on the passenger seat. The driver seems to open up a labtop or something similar. He is turned towards it and you can see him opening it up or lifting it up prior to this image.

I will post an adjusted video tomorrow, so you can see for yourself.

Got busy the last couple weeks but I’ve been trying to get caught up. Was there any more analysis of this? I love the pictures so thank you so much Nin! However, to me this looks too thick to be a laptop. It truly looks more like opening a pizza box. I promise I am not trying to make light of the situation or be funny. That’s just what I thought of when I saw this graphic. Maybe you guys discussed it or maybe I need more background info on lighting, shading, and graphics?

The biggest tell to me is how casual SP is - this looks like a guy who thinks he has all the time in the world and completely tuned out to anything outside of his immediate attention. He's not worried about nothing. He's barely acting curious dragging 🤬🤬🤬 around the halls.
All my opinions.

From the beginning I have been ‘team targeted’ and mostly still am, but I’ve read more people’s thoughts and it does really bother me how causal SP is. Especially in light of the timing.

That leads me more to believe if it were targeted there was a person on watch or SP knew MB’s movements.

I am in no way trying to implicate anyone nor do I have reason to believe any family was involved but I was wondering if the following things have been considered or discussed —-

The usage of an app like for example — Life360. We have this app and several years ago my immediate family was on it when we had teenagers at home. You can see where someone is in real time- how far away, etc. I thought it was weird, but my in laws had a big Life360 circle and invited me, husband, kids to join it and they had my sister in law, nephew, nieces etc. all on it. I didn’t accept and kept just my family immediate family on mine but I know there are people that do that.

Also my kids have their Snapchat app show their Bitmoji on a Snapchat map. Anyone that is their ‘friend’ on the app can see where they are— or potentially anyone that had access to a ‘friend’s’ phone. I have Snapchat but have that feature turned off because I think it’s creepy and I’ve watched way too many Datelines, but could MB have had any of these apps in which someone could watch her movements in live time?

All my opinions, no offense meant to anyone, and please excuse if this didn’t quote or format correctly. The second quote is from moslym3. I don’t know how to edit it to include the original quote.

It's interesting to think of that possibility. So much technology available now.
I would hope if that was the case - if someone had that kind of info of the perp's location on an app - they would have come forward.
I personally imagine the perp as someone who is not using any such apps.
But who knows, right?

I believe they would have dug deep into any technology solutions by now. I never gathered how far they were able to get with these messages that she got. LE usually goes into communications devices first these days so I’m thinking they are reduced to old fashioned boots on the ground investigating at this point. This is without doubt a frustrating situation.

Gwyndolin, literally thinking "out of the box".. I like that. Thank you your comment. Pizza box is certainly possible. However, I was more thinking of a protector labtop hard-case, like for example the Pelican Case:

GS, regarding the object SP is seen carrying in their left hand while hammering the entrance of room #9, you told us it is a plastic bin to hold small tools. I have spent some more time on extracting the possible properties of the object. With a plastic bin or container, I am unable to explain the caved-in areas of the object:

The yellow marked area shows a carton like (inside) color, that typical grayish brownish carton color, for the lack of a better description. With a plastic bin, I am not sure how that would be possible:

I am not doubting your info source regarding the object GS, I am just not agreeing on what we see here.
