That is such an distinctive walk. You would think family and friends could pick the person out instantly. Pretty amazing you could continue living your life knowing you know the person who did that.
Have we possibly been putting too much stock in the perp's style of walking?

Anyone who went to that much planning and seemingly that much effort to disguise themselves and their true motive seems perfectly capable of faking their walk -- splayed feet and exaggerated stride (more common in men) -- than most of us may have given them credit for.

"This week, the team’s focus is the surveillance video of Bevers’ killer. They spent Thursday night at the scene of the crime, Creekside Church of Christ. They retraced the suspect’s steps seen in every frame captured on the motion-activated cameras. Each door frame was also measured, to better estimate the murderer’s height and width."

Yes! Thank you! What if it is not CT? Horrendous. I do understand why public profiles have been pitched to private. I would do the same. We may only confirm that rumor has it CT is the perp. LE have not said they're looking for a broken-foot-woman.

Reading that Guest blog that was promoted. I see a media agenda just like any other MSM. Selling their story? $$$ is what its about for everyone except the LEO. I have faith in the LEO. Jmho

With all due respect, there was talk of involvement between MB and AJT before the murder happened. There is nothing that confirms or denies an affair on social media, sure. But how many people who are committing adultery post such things on FB? Not many!

Also, CT does walk with an odd gait.

Do I think she should be a POI? I'm not sure. I can see a few other scenarios making sense so I'm not going to align myself with one theory only.

IMO, if people had taken these clues about a possible affair and an odd gait that the fellow trainer's wife had and NOT called them in, they would be remiss in their duty to society.

Well I beg your pardon-is what I bolded allowed per TOS here? I hope not.

I thought Tamera came across at the very least, as believable as Dominick Dunne. And I mean that as a high compliment.

Can't fault that statement!

Wow!!!!! I know that Tricia cautions us at the beginning of the interview that we can choose to believe her guest or not to believe her guest.

But if Tamara's info is correct, then yowza, lots of details in this interview!!!

ETA: And we have to wonder why Tamara revealed what she did tonight? Rhetorical question because I think LE is once more putting on the pressure but in a very overt way this time.
Perhaps some wittingly (LE and the MIL) and some unwittingly (local reporters) are trying to convince the perp's spouse to convince their spouse to turn themselves in to avoid the innocent spouse from facing accessory after the fact charges.

Just my late nigh musings. I could be totally off base.

Yes, I believe LE have also covered their tracks by bringing in notable and valuable reinforcements via the LE network. All may not be as it seems. Which is precisely why, after justice, investigation and passion, WS exists. Find the clues follow the less obvious, examine the forgotten and remove the typical "box". I reclaim my reservations :)

I think a lot has been misconstrued on this subject of a town. In the interview, the mention of CT being from elsewhere was in the context of (a) Tricia wanting to know what the reporter knew about CT, and (b) the reporter explaining that she didn't know much, because CT lives elsewhere. And it wasn't in the context of her being a newcomer to Midlothian, but rather not living there at all. From what I understand, CT lives an hour away, and there's no realistic way people living in Midlothian (the sources for the rumors being related by the reporter) would have any natural day-to-day knowledge of someone in another relatively-distant town.

If you go to your profile and look at your own posts, you can easily go to your last post. So, some use "Marking my spot" to keep track of where they are on the thread.
That makes perfect sense. Thank you.

I agree! Whether real gait, or fake, we don't know yet. Definitely a lot of planning went into it. I have not a clue who it its or could be.

I see it regularly on each new thread. Think it is literally a friendly race to "stake my flag" as being among first 2 or 3 posters be at the summit of a 70-foot mountain of posts and ski down. A forum characteristic :) Does it bother me? Nope. Humans are here too. :loveyou:
Alrighty then. :-)

Seriously though, texasgirl cleared it up -- at least in my increasingly feeble mind.

I think the splay-foot gait is completely natural, based on the natural stance we see when the perp is standing and turning. It would be hard to fake the foot position in such movements, and they are extremely splay-footed at every point. In addition, because that was the case when standing still, it supports the idea that the splay-footedness wasn't due to some extra load and stress on the legs while walking, but instead is the natural stance of this perp.

Imagine if someone who hated both CT AND MB decided to imitate CT's gait under heavy disguise to make it look like it could be her while killing Missy!
Murder Missy and get CT charged with murder, put away for life or executed* (at least in the perp's crazy head).

*I am assuming this crime would be a capital offence in Texas?

I don't really think anyone would do that, btw. Just brainstorming I guess. It's not impossible.

Murder no longer shocks me: suspects do; their reasons do. I feel "mental illness" is far too easily awarded. It's gets so bad at times; as if society are the perps and the accused are victims. Then we're all raging mad! However: one aspect of this murder really got me, aside from raising an eyebrow in managing to do that, was early concerns the murder may have been recorded. By a woman? WTF!?

What if the killer is someone who was manipulated by another person to commit the crimes?

Many people are completely unaware of how others see them. We live with our bodies and forget that what's normal to us because it's ours, is 'different' to others. Not sure if I'm 'splainin that clearly, but if you've ever visited people of walmart - you'll see a gross example - gross meaning huuuuuge and widespread in that so many people seem to have magic mirrors at home that tell them one thing, but when they go out in public, we see the what's behind the curtain.

Hey, sometimes I forget that I'm *cough* over 50, but it's ragingly apparent to those younger than me.

Lmao! Yes, texasgirl2 is right. (Win lose or draw, we're all marking our spot and Q-ing up for meaty bones in this case.) Technology will solve this case, eh?
