BBM: I think we can tell for sure which CW the search warrant was referring to. IMO, it would be the CW that you mentioned (and is BBM) because the LinkedIn name was for "casey121airborne" (this from the SW). If you do a search for that, you will find that this is the CW referred to in the SW.

JMHO.

Unless LE either (1) got it wrong early on and mixed up the two CWs, or (2) intended the SW to target the wrong CW so that the POI they are really after doesn't get suspicious. I'm still very interested in the route driver CW's wife SW. I haven't been able to figure out how tall she is from the pics I've seen, although she doesn't seem to be short, for sure. Just not sure she's as tall as the perp is supposed to have been. I will say that looking at her FB profile pic, she has distinctive eyes that are narrow in height but wide. I know there are enhanced pics out there showing the perp's eyes, so it should be possible to rule SW out or in by comparing the pics. And for that matter, one should be able to do the same with the other CW's wife KW. I haven't looked up any pics of her.

So far, I've been unable to find a LinkedIn profile at all for the route driver CW.

Marc Garcia was a video guest on NG 5/11/16, too. "GRACE: I`m on it. I`m on it, Lisa Pineiro joining us from Midlothian. Justin Freiman, also on the story -- Justin, when you are trying to build a case, you look at direct evidence, such as fingerprints, blood evidence, eyewitnesses. You also look at behavioral or circumstantial evidence. Now, let me understand this, Justin. Missy goes to this gym practically every day for three straight years. But suddenly, she quits cold turkey two weeks before she is murdered. Do I have my facts straight?" http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/1605/11/ng.01.html

Thank you SandyQLS. I thought Missy was out of town for a few days. Is that why she wasn't at the gym? Do we have the dates for her Austin trip including travel time? Maybe real life got in the way of her gym workouts.

I wonder which people on the list attended the gym. I think a woman or man attended the same gym, and she did not want to see them or communicate with them anymore.
I would quit a gym for this reason!

I thought he said she had been acting different/distanced for the last two weeks?

He does. There is also a longer version on an interview prior to NG last night saying the same thing as in this transcript. I saw it the other night. If I come across it again I will post.

Here is from NG:

GRACE: You know, when you`re with somebody every day for three years, you get to know them. And she was extremely dedicated, right, Justin? I mean,

she didn`t go in and hop on the treadmill for 25 minutes and cut out. She did the weights. She talked to the owner. She became friends with the

owner. She was a fixture in this gym.

But with no explanation, she quits cold turkey. She acts very unusual. And then she`s murdered. What about it, Justin?

FREIMAN: That`s right. And she is dedicated to fitness, so it does seem odd that a gym that she`s going to so often, she just stopped going.

GRACE: Joining me right now is the owner of the gym. Mr. Garcia, what was your reaction when you learned she had been murdered?

MARC GARCIA, GYM MANAGER: Nancy, I was distraught. I mean, I immediately started crying. And my initial reaction was to think that it wasn`t true.

I started praying. I was praying to God that it was all just a horrible rumor. And I called Missy, I texted her, I Facebook messaged her. I

didn`t hear anything. And then the rumors just kept coming in, and then finally, someone says, yes, it was Missy and -- and I was just heartbroken.

GRACE: That is Carlos (sic) Garcia joining us.

Here is the video, he says she seemed a little more reserved and in recent weeks she didn't seem like herself, not that she hadn't been there. It starts at 1:20 in the video.

Is this the guy you are talking about?

I know but there is another news video that has MG speaking more and he says she hadn't been there in 2 weeks, just like he said on the NG.

Communication with co-conspirator(s) or a hit man? They may be looking for multiple (2 or more) burner phones if there were co-conspirators.
((While I don't see this as a hit (because of the rage/brutality), that may be an option.))

And the planning days/weeks beforehand...

JMO :)

Keep in mind that there are different types of hits. It doesn't mean you're necessarily hiring someone who earns their living as a hitman. In the Teresa Sievers case, the husband allegedly hired his best friend to be a hitman who brutally murdered her with a hammer and then staged it to look like an interrupted burglary and like in this case nothing was actually stolen.

The fact that a burner phone may be in play here keeps sticking out to me. Why do you even need a phone at all? If a burner phone is in fact in play then it obviously means atleast 2 people know what happen that morning. If there is just 1 single perp then there is no reason to contact anybody or have a burner phone. Did they need to call for a ride or notify someone the deed was "done". Record it or take pics? I just do not see why you would need a burner phone especially if the perp acted alone. IMO

Maybe if you wanted to send a creepy message to a LinkedIn account or other SM that would not be traced back to you? JMO

I'm personally entertaining the theory that Missy discovered something illegal going on having to do with a particular person, possibly more than one person, at the gym

I've been wondering that, too--whether Missy "knew something." This can sometimes be a motive. And for a little diversion, we had a very bizarre unsolved murder of a bodybuilder (Mr. Arizona) who had taken up truck driving as a career. Lawrence Muirhead. He parked his truck in KC in a parking lot where there is not much around, and I certainly don't think there was the type of place he would have eaten a meal nearby...anyway his truck was abandoned with his belongings still inside, but he was not seen again until he turned up about a year later in a deep freeze in someone's garage. Never solved. BUT. There was a bodybuilding gym nearby. This parking lot may have been the best place for him to park his truck and walk to the bodybuilding gym and get a workout in. Not sure, of course, if his murder was body-building or steroid-related.

This is a very riveting case. Be prepared to suffer withdrawal once it is solved.

It sounds like the burner phone can give them a solid lead to the person or persons responsible. I still think it's two people because the person needed help for a lookout and a getaway car. At least one more person involved and maybe more IMO

The only place I saw this mentioned was on WS I searched and could find nothing on any MSM site.

I heard it on nbcdfw 4 pm broadcast news & posted here & promised a link when one was available. The stations links generally are found shortly after the broadcast, but I never saw a link for this story. Now I can't even remember what day I heard the story, possibly Monday, May 9th.

I think the testing is a lot more difficult than people are assuming. The receipt says that they attempted to treat the stain before bringing it to the drycleaners. It might have just been rinsed, hydrogen peroxide, a stain stick might have been used, etc. I don't think it was just a shirt covered in fresh blood that could easily be stuck under a microscope.

Let's just say the bloody shirts had something to do with Missy's murder. Really?? The drycleaners? I would imagine the perp would destroy the shirts in some manner.

Was there a phone found or left by the perp?

I don't doubt you heard it. Maybe LE asked them to not run that again, in the event it would compromise their case.

Not that I am aware of.
Maybe LE believe she was in contact with her killer because of something they found on Missy's phone

We don't know the only thing reported by Nancy Grace was that they are trying to trace a burner phone. Some stated if it was used the cell tower would have been pinged and the experts could track it that way. Wish LE would give us an update soon!

It can't be over fast enough for some of us.

 • #79
Maybe burner phone was used to send the creepy LinkedIn message?

LE said that they found the person who sent that message, and that they are not looking at them as a suspect.

Do you have a link? I haven't heard that yet.
