Her initials are CT, it can get very confusing. The use of a lot of initials always reminds me of the Robin Williams skit in Good Morning Vietnam.

Some of the rudiments you mention in relation to perps we've recently just witnessed in an ongoing case. Guy named Sievers hires best friend from HS days to murder his wife. Best friend brings along the village idiot self-named Jimmy the Hammer, who battered Ms Sievers to death ... with a hammer. On the flip side, female perp Jodi Arias did in fact premeditate and disguise herself (kinda) though her weapons of choice were a gun and knife, so not a blunt object. Good to read your thoughts.

I've never thought it was RB, though I get why others do. IMO he's too old and and is physically very different from the perp. He has a high-up, large paunch, which cause his arms to sit at a slight angle from his body. The perp appears to have a slimmer build,and is more agile and 'youthful' in their walk.

According to his ex-wife, Brandon's mother: "He was in California, and they've proven that. He and his wife had to fly back the next day." I believe that would have been established pretty early on. http://www.people.com/article/texas-fitness-instructor-died-husband-speaks

It doesn't seem accurate to say that the wording of the SW means they "haven't YET cleared him," only that they hadn't cleared him BACK THEN when he was listed on the SW. Much has happened since then. And in fact, there's kinda a hint that they may have moved on from those original SW names, since (iiuc) LE said that none of those people in the SW are or were ever a suspect, none are even a POI at this point, and that they have new POIs they are interested in.

Not sure the broken foot thing has relevance anymore. Unless we can find a suspect who has had TWO broken feet. The perp video clearly shows that both feet turn outward, not just the right one.

I think the main reason people haven't spent much time on CW is that they tend to see the perp as female based on that video. And the family may have pointed out CT to LE.

But CW is the LinkedIn contact, and the creepy message was also LinkedIn, so we shouldn't rule out a CW connection, in my opinion. But I still lean heavily toward a female perp.

Just curious....I have been reading 2 threads worth for days and I have never once seen any details about MB's family...her mom, dad, siblings,cousins, etc. Does she not have any that are still around??? All I hear and read about are the in-laws.. I would think if her parents or sibling are alive, they would have some interest and interviews about this. Does anyone know ??? thia

This person was fighting Eric Garcia. The gym owner is Marc Garcia. But then, Garcia is a common last name. And the 2
1st names are different. However, I felt it was worth mentioning.

Now *that* is interesting. Coincidence? Could easily be as it is a common name. Although, my curious mind wonders if this little nugget you have produced here may have any connection to the (alleged) reason/s Missy apparently stayed away or resisted going to gym? Pure happenstance? Or discomfort by association, considering the flirty texting (for want of facts).

To me, the hammer seems smart for a female against another, formidably-fit female. For one, it's pretty easy to heft a hammer; if it's a bit heavy you can choke up on it. Second, you can use it for the dual purposes of breaking in AND killing your victim. A knife isn't as good for breaking glass or prying heavy doors open. And a gun is loud and traceable.

Also, a hammer can be purchased anywhere. In fact, perp probably didn't even need to buy one. Most people have more than one hammer.

As for the murder - a gun could jam or you could miss. A knife might not deliver a disabling injury quickly enough for you to overpower the victim. But one good head shot with the hammer, delivered by surprise, and a female perp has instantly taken a female victim out of action.

I would agree with that. As long as the perp was fit. Not necessarily MB fit, but fit enough to move easily in that cumbersome suit in the event of retaliation against someone superfit. I'm not so sure about it being easy hefting a hammer. I suppose all the perp would need is the element of surprise. But that could go wrong.

MB had puncture wounds on her chest and head, which points to either also a knife, or maybe something like a screwdriver also being used.

I would probably be more inclined to go with a gun. I think. Now I'm sitting here contemplating hammer or knife, gun or hammer. Pretty hard to imagine using it on a human being.

At 6:15 Asst Chief Kevin Johnson is asked if he has any reason to believe there may be more than one suspect. He replies - at this point everything is on the table. We simply don't know. All we know is we want to find the killer responsible whether it's one person, two persons, three persons, male or female.

Yep. Here's what we know about CW:

1) According to LE, he was exchanging flirty and even INTIMATE messages with MB going back at least until January.

3) He is heavy into MMA (mixed martial arts); a form of fighting that can get pretty brutal. Casey once broke a man's arm. [video below]. The broken arm aside, just the footage of him straddling the other fighter, as he is beating his face and head, is pretty scary. The implications for MB if CW were to turn out to be her killer is frightening.

5) On his LinkedIn page, he lists US Army anti-terrorist task force experience. (If you google images of anti-terrorism or anti-terrorist task forces or squads, etc., many interesting photos of men in gear similar to the perp come up, suggesting Casey would have access to the type of helmets, vests, etc. seen worn by others.
6) LE clearly considered him a POI, as he is listed on a SW.

Just something to ponder. Certainly, with that many boxes to tick off, it's worth taking another look at CW.

Hi. FWIW many (many) years ago we experienced an unnatural death in our family. My mother was broken for months. Us kids rallied around however, even a trip to the store was a mission, much less a normal family life. She couldn't even attend the inquisition months later; in the still of night we'd find her gazing out of the window into darkness. This may very well be the case with Missy's family. Broken, stunned, mortified. Time, kindness and healing comes through love and patience. But it's never the same. Especially for a parent. And this is one of the reasons I am furious with people posting pics of (all) the children involved in this murder. It is wrong. Missy's family can't (and shouldn't) have to say or do anything. What has been said and done has turned theirlives upside down and inside out. Hence bashing anyone else, without reason, is as caustic. God bless them!

I wouldn't expect her to mention her ex at all in relation to rumours. I believe it would be something that did check out pretty early on in the investigation. You're right though, no one has been cleared, yet.

Sorry, but with all due respect to the MPD for the presser and to you for mentioning, that video is an eternity ago (done just a few days after the murder, in the very earliest days of the investigation). I can't imagine that video offers any help now to those who have been following the case and poring over the various revelations for the weeks since then. Much has been learned by LE that they didn't know then, some of which they have told us and undoubtedly much more they haven't.

I haven't watched your video link yet, but it isn't new info that BB didn't want to hear details of the manner of death. I think what he said was that he wasn't ready to hear about it.

That is not a red flag for me at all. He knows the crime was heinous. He knows she's dead and that the funeral had to be closed-casket. I wouldn't want to know the gory details either - maybe not right away. Maybe not ever.

That guy makes no sense. I call ******** on HIM (he calls bs on BB for not wanting to know how his wife was murdered)

He says it's suspicious that BB doesn't want to know.

Then he talks about culpable knowledge and withholding information from people: he says "Well guess what the police haven't done? They didn't tell him him how his wife was killed. They're holding information from the husband which (in his mind) they still consider him a suspect" I'm paraphrasing, so you can watch the video for yourself. You don't have to have a fb account to watch it.

Which is it? They didn't tell him because he told them he wasn't ready to hear it or they didn't tell him because he's a suspect (in that guy's mind)?

Grrrr.

You never know. But coincidences like that are fascinating to ponder. For instance, when sniffing around CW's LinkedIn page, I found out we have a common acquaintance...and I'm not even from TX!
