Hate to put it like this but .. It is Texas, so maybe the Suspect rides horses?

Nothing wrong with putting it like that at all... that is a very good possibility. Check out this link:

https://www.caring.com/articles/things-walk-reveals-about-health

"Walking clue #7: Bowlegged strideMay reveal: Osteoarthritis
"Think of the classic image of the old, slow, bow-legged cowboy," says orthopedic surgeon Blitzer. "He probably looks that way because of arthritic knees." Eighty-five percent of people with osteoarthritis (OA), the wear-and-tear form of the disease associated with aging, have a slightly bowlegged walk, he says. Bowlegs (also called genu varum) happen because the body can't be supported adequately; the knees literally bow out."

And you can definitely see in the video at times, like when the perp is stopped in front of a door and fiddling with a tool, that he or she stands with one leg forward and knee slightly bent, as if they are favoring the knee(s).

So while there is nothing wrong with either foot, maybe there is something wrong with the knees...

CODE OF CRIMINAL PROCEDURE

TITLE 1. CODE OF CRIMINAL PROCEDURE

CHAPTER 20. DUTIES AND POWERS OF THE GRAND JURY

http://www.statutes.legis.state.tx.us/Docs/CR/htm/CR.20.htm

Lots of info there ^^^ One this about the GJ is it is Secret, so no one knows if possible that the Ellis County DA has brought this before a GJ (I assume it would be Ellis County that would handle the Murder correct?

From the link:
.....
Art. 20.02. PROCEEDINGS SECRET. (a) The proceedings of the grand jury shall be secret.....

I am new here and keep going back to an interview mentioning that MB had not been seen at the gym for a while prior to her death. I believe this was stated by the gym owner in an interview saying this was unusual, but I cannot find the interview to reference. I also recall a mention that MB’s demeanor (while she was still going to the gym) had also changed. Can anyone verify this and please correct me if I’m wrong.

I wonder if anyone knows why MB stopped going to the gym. IMO, someone from the gym, or their spouse, may have threatened MB for some reason, which would explain why she was avoiding the gym and perhaps provide a fairly strong motive for the crime, IMO. Sorry if this has already been discussed. Any thoughts on this or something I may have missed?

As for the perp, I don’t feel that he or she necessarily knew MB but was there to do the job for someone else. From watching the surveillance video, I don’t have the sense that he or she was personally motivated, outraged or directly connected to MB.

These are only my perceptions and opinions.

WELCOME!
There has been speculation about why MB stopped going to the gym but none of us know for sure what the reason was.

Always nice to get fresh perspectives. Keep posting!
:welcome:

I would feel a whole lot better about an article where a MIL admitted both her adult child and the victim strayed from the marriage...or didn't bring it up, or respond to a question about it, at all.

I still wonder why no one in MBs family has consented to an interview. I admire them for it though.

Furthermore, it's a rare parent who doesn't think his or her child is innocent.

Yeah MB received forgiveness for her straying but there are two sides to every story and MB is not here to tell her side.

I totally agree with this. I know several have liked the MILs public letters, but honestly, I get a weird undertone out of them. Not sure what, maybe bitter is the word that fits best.

I still think SP is flat footed & or knock-kneed.
My husband is flat footed & I've mentioned before that when he wears his work boots he walks more on the outsides of his feet & his feet kinda kick out, similar to what I see on the video, I don't notice it when my husband wears other shoes like his tennis shoes.

The thoughts & opinions stated above are that, MY random thoughts & opinions.

I haven't seen anything yet mentioned about insurance policies.

Perhaps it would depend on who the secondary beneficiary was for the insurance policies.. as most people have secondary beneficiaries

:moo:

ETA: Public Service Announcement here????

... Everyone really should have a will .. They are easy to draft even off the internet for a simple one for free.. and make sure if you have a primary beneficiary on your life insurance policy.. there are secondary beneficiaries

It's been mentioned, but we don't know what life insurance she had and who the recipients were:
Schulte anticipates more warrants in the coming days for Bevers' Facebook and Twitter accounts, and even Tolltag data. Police will also determine whether she had life insurance.

It's all part of a wide net investigators are casting in their search for a suspect and motive.

Welcome to WS. The owner of Anytime Fitness is Marc or Mark Garcia (I have seen it spelled both ways). He appeared on at least two episodes of Nancy Grace, and he is the source for the comments you mention. Not sure which shows because NG has covered this case often (5/11, 16, 18 and more), but here is a link to recent episodes, just "Find" Bevers in the list to read transcripts . http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/ng.html

Hate to put it like this but .. It is Texas, so maybe the Suspect rides horses?

Now you’re walking on the fighting side of all us horsemen. Any one that has spent enough time in the saddle to become bold legged has enough horse sense and patience to stay well away of a homicide in my opinion. Just showing off my prejudice but I’ll bet my best mare, SWAT PAT is not a horseman.

Respectfully, And that would be?.... my making a box and just filling in as I went... that always said not to scale... Yes I am very aware that the building and Sanctuary/Auditorium/ Worship Center is SQUARE NOT RECTANGLE. Or that I don't have the little recessed areas of the outside doors? That was not my objective when I was trying to figure out the layout of the church. I really would like you to correct me on what you keep stating is wrong. Thank you in advance. Not meaning to be snarky just tired of seeing my sketch snarked about. Especially from the one that was stolen from here. I know where other things are in the church too but as I stated, after NG stealing and others wanting to come on board after the fact of some of us working it out, I not going there. FYI, the white tike floor I am aware do not belong to that building ;) but that was after the fact of the NG stealing my sketch layout. I dare say I have not seen anyone else come forth with one. http://www.websleuths.com/forums/sh...eline-*NO-DISCUSSION*&p=12537809#post12537809

ETA: please provide links too, because the information I posted was confirmed from photos and confirmed from local former church members and at least 1 current Creekside Church of Christ/ WS member. TIA

So there really are no rooms on the outside of the back hallway, the one behind the auditorium? Because it appears from the aerial view that there are rooms around the outside of all four sides, but since you say you have insider knowledge, that must be wrong.

And for the record, most of us asking questions about your drawing have not been snarky about it, but have been genuinely interested in the correct floor plan in order to make sense of the videos for ourselves. I have greatly appreciated your efforts, but am somewhat baffled that you have chosen not to correct your original sketch to more accurately reflect the true layout of the church. You seem more inclined to attack those of us with questions or comments.

However, your point is taken, yes, I can make a sketch for my own use. I just thought that since you made yours public, that is one we could all work from. My mistake, apparently.

It is wise to have parent life insurance policies for minors established as "Named Godparent FBO Minor Children" and do not make it your spouse or ex-spouse for a variety of reasons, the simplest being that married couples often are in cars together. FBO = For the Benefit Of. Or establish a trust to receive the life insurance for the needs of minors.

Insurance companies have their own employee investigators (or outside investigators like PI/retired homicide detectives) and they have solved not only fraudulent claims of all sorts, but murder cases. I cannot remember enough to search the case, but in Canada, there was a man originally from India. He travelled to India and acquired a rare plant poison then returned to Canada where he started murdering family and friends in his close circle. It was an insurance company investigator who contacted police because he recognized the odd/long Indian surname recurring on life insurance payouts mostly on previously healthy people too young to die naturally. The rare poison he used was simply unknown previously in Canada.

Cautiously... someone else posted about a certain someone trying to control this investigation...weekly visits for updates... LE may not need to make an arrest but LE may need to officially rule someone completely out in order for life insurance to pay depending on how policy was written (direct benefit to XX person)... I am not bashing anyone, just saying that the life insurance companies have their own vested financial interest, murder for life insurance money is unfortunately a fairly common occurence, and these companies have their own payrolled investigators (some of you WS might like that job!).

There are rooms back there. That was a really early working. I had scribbled a layout, another member made that one for me and we were updated as we went. And no it was posted for us all to use. I apologize for sounding snarky, but it was a bit of a put off someone coming in as it did, telling me that it was all wrong, yet would not explain what was wrong. It was more than one and I sorry it got old. There were a lot of us worked hard. Then NG stole it from here. Just hit a raw nerve. Sorry.

At this point the only thing that really matters is the SW corner of the building because that is where she was murdered. We didn't know that when I started.

I'm nearer to Dallas, but I still find myself looking at light colored Altimas, although I think this was bait put out by LE, as they have to have footage of the vehicle entering/leaving the SWFA parking lot. Why release to the public one low quality still shot with the license plate whited out?

Have investigators looked at all vehicles registered to Missy's extended family and friends? Have they looked at all vehicles registered to everyone named in search warrants (public & sealed)? From there, look at all vehicles registered in Ellis county - not that hard to scour for 2010 - 2012 light colored Nissan Altimas. Rinse and repeat for surrounding counties.

I'm wagering LE isn't scouring the lists of Altima owners because finding the owner of this one isn't important enough to devote that many man hours to it. By their own words, this is a loose end but not one they see as very important. And there would be literally 1000s of 2010-12 Altimas in the greater Midlothian-DFW area, maybe in the range of 15000-20000 or more.

Apparently there was a show called "Dallas SWAT" that aired for a year or two.

I looked up some images of Dallas SWAT personnel, and boy do their helmets and vests look familiar. Now that's not to say that this type of vest and helmet is unique to the Dallas area, but regions do seem to adopt their own style of dress and standard gear, and the picture of this officer which was attached to a report about a standoff in Victory Park in Dallas, and is so far the only one I've seen that even comes close.

Just tossing some more Cheetos out there..

That area around that Fire Extinguisher box, is what I was saying earlier, there are codes for that ADA, and when Suspect is in area of that white box, doesn't appear as tall as other illusions/distortions from vidoeo do JMHO

In review of the entry tile floor and hallway spaces, I suspect the tiles are 36" x 36" and the hallway is 5' wide, imo. Look at the step and length of step, that's a big gait/step for a lady, imo. I'm leaning back to a man. I don't see big feet in this particular scene tho.

The best time to break into the church considering the weather conditions that early morning and the chance that the outside surveillance cameras may have trouble recording a good image of the intruder/ vehicle/ mode of transfer would have been between the hours of 3am and 4am I would say. Hence, the purpose of "wandering around" in the church could also be due to that early weather window, if the perpetrator did not know about the motion activated cams inside the church.

Did the perp really know about the inside cams prior to breaking in?

If we did not have the video, we would think MB has interrupted a break in/ burglary in progress. We may not know about the swatperp at all. The outside cams - if they had been functioning properly- may not have captured the individual well enough to even suggest a police outfit. Who knows.

It is very possible, that the individual discovered the inside cams at some point, not sure about it though. I just cannot make sense of why they are obviously staging the scene (breaking..), since we already see them in the video being at the church. Was that a mistake on the perp's side? Are we giving him too much credit?

We need to see the rest of the video..(Y)
