Yeah I dont think they stripped inside, way to risky likely took off hemet to hightail it out and stopped a ways down the road. They would not be able to drive far with the knee pads and shin gards and possible nut cup on.

Definitely not. And vent pipes in the roof indicate there is plumbing in the SW "corner" of the building.

I put " " around corner because the corner is actually an outdoor portico under the main roof. So the exterior walls at that corner are set in (estimating very roughly) 15 feet in both directions.

Unfortunately it's still not clear where or how she was killed. I don't rule it out that she ran into the perp when she went out the side door to her truck and got killed basically outside. Ordinarily that might be kind of strange to be considered an interrupted burglary, but this church previously had the major theft that occurred outdoors rather than indoors. If everyone used the main doors they could have walked by her not noticing and then only seen her when they went out towards her truck after being inside. If the perp knew the exterior cameras weren't working, it may have been their plan to ambush her as she went outside knowing it wouldn't get caught on camera. Also if they were already outside, that would explain their exit as they had already exited. LE has said the perp went out the way they came in, but that really hasn't made sense. The problem with their outdoor scenario is where the shattered glass would have come from as there didn't appear to be any shattered side doors.

That's an interesting theory I hadn't considered. That might also explain why it looked like the perp kept looking around and went to look out those windows... to make sure they didn't miss ambushing her on her way inside the building.

Someone also posted last thread or so a good point, MB could have had like a hoodie or jacket on, it was early morning and storming/raining so that could have kept some of the bloody mess contained some. JMHO I agree

This is total speculation, but with the comments made about wounds to her face and the fact that the head and face bleed A LOT, I am guessing there was a good bit of blood at the scene. You can definitely fracture your scull without cutting the skin and bleeding, but from the brief description I read plus statements the blows were made with hammer\crow bar lead me to believe this was not likely a clean crime scene.

As well I just wanted to mention I found it very odd that the other trainers carried on with their 0500 classes as if nothing happened, how do they know this wasn't an attack targeting them all? And.....drum roll....... I don't think the Altima is involved. As always, thinking outloud to a group of strangers about a murder I have no inside knowledge about. Armchair gumshoe opinion only. Oh yeah, and Patperp made a mistake, we are just not privy to it, yet.

I hope this is the case - one blow (hopefully from behind) and from there she never really knew what happened. I hate the thought of seeing it coming, having time to be scared, etc.

BBM. This is driving me absolutely BANANAS! I have heard several different versions of where Missy was found on FB, of which I know cannot be repeated here, but the fact that there is more than one version floating around goes to show you that at least one of them is untrue. :gaah: But I just wish we knew this much. Was she attacked in a room or bathroom of the SW corner? Was it underneath the camera, out of view right there at the entrance? Was it in the entryway between the double doors? OR WAS IT IN FULL VIEW OF THE CAMERA AND LE WAS MISLEADING US!? I don't know why this particular fact is driving me so nuts, it's just one of those loose ends I wish I had an answer for.

Search Warrant for phone and ipad dated April 19, 2016:

"...At approximately 0418hours, the victim Terri Bevers is observed entering the building
through the main door under the awning area.The video shows Terri Bevers walking
toward where the suspects location. Neither the suspect nor victim,were seen again on
video.The victim was later found deceased at the southwest comer of the interior of the

NG always shows her (stolen) floorplan with MB found in the main hallway near the awning doors where MB parked her truck, and also has MB entering the true front door not the one where she parked her truck - and I think NG's producers are wrong on both points. Posters are correct that the absolute SW corner is the covered patio (not to be confused with the awning covered porte cochere where MB parked her truck). Seriously, IMO LE was also having some trouble perfectly describing it all in exact same terms every time back on April 19 when they wrote the early warrants - and it is LE who has chosen to not clarify these points any further, for some purpose of their own. Perhaps there are very, very few people who know the true location of the body - the first couple of campers, EMT's and LE, a couple of CoC managers - and maybe LE wants to keep it that way so if they interrogate the killer s/he will slip up revealing little factoids only known to LE and the few?

Do you have a link or remember which presser where it was LE who mentioned "clean-up" attempt by SwatPerp? This came up yesterday, too, and I can only remember it came from DM and was repeated by NG. I think this is smart thinking by all of you, too, that if the SwatPerp did attempt some clean-up, it may not have been at the murder position but in the bathroom, or more likely the kitchen before exiting?

What if the clean-up was to themselves? Changing clothes, cleaning up things they used in the crime?

I doubt that campers at a different venue were on their phones or watching TV or listening to the radio until their camper session was over. Same with trainers, at that hour. JMO News wouldn't have been announced until well after 5. JMO

I'm thinking the same about the crime scene. The disadvantage of using a club (hammer here) or a knife over a gun. The killer would not be able to avoid getting blood, tissue and hair on them. The murder occurs at approx. 4:20 and the murderer is probably gone within 5 minutes. Either they got out of those clothes in the parking lot (risking exposure) and put them in a garbage bag or they just removed the helmet, balaclava and POLICE jacket and tossed them in a bag in the trunk. If they did the later the blood would still be wet and transferred to the car mat and seat. (Whichever, I do believe like others have posted that the entire tactical outfit was bagged, tossed in a dumpster and is now in a landfill.) If they didn't take the boots, pants and jacket off, then if LE has a suspect they might find trace evidence in the vehicle.

I can't see 'cleaning up' a crime scene like this. The more you touch or walk in the immediate area the more trace evidence you pick up. If the murder occurred in the killer's house, then yes, I can see a clean up. I'm thinking the killer was off camera longer than it would have taken to commit the murder? (Maybe this is why LE originally thought the murderer was taking video with a cell phone? I haven't seen that mentioned recently though.)

Come on. The first 911 call wasn't even received until 5:06. Other trainers were already in the thick of things with their own 5 am workouts, not looking at their texts or taking calls.

Also, I just thought about this... but is it typical for a church to lock all of the interior rooms? I certainly understand why an auditorium, sanctuary, or office would be locked but can't think of a reason why others would need to be.

Dutch doors was nursery. The rooms locked would be soundroom, maintenance room, storage room, and offices.

JMHO, I took that to mean the stuff they got off MB iphone and BB Phone(s) confirmed statement and tips but unknown who gave the statement or tips. Looks like it was not a secret, or at least others knew (tips). I would think when they interviewed him he would be upfront. (wonder if tips came in prior to MPD speaking with BB?) BB didnt arrive home until about 3pm that Monday afternoon.

In this article April 21 Thurs, this was day after they extracted MB iPhone and iPad, so could have been at this time, that BB phone extracted and they spoke of whatever ... This would have been 4 days prior to that SW dated April 25.

Who does the janitorial/custodial work in the church? Was it a company or hired janitor? What was their schedule? Did they have keys? Do they know when the cameras are off & on? Do they have keys to interior rooms that are seemingly locked (some are, some aren't) in the SWATperp video.

I'm not saying the janitor did it but I think knowing their schedule & observations about the routine/norms would be helpful.

Any ideas?
