I disagree. Crock pot meals take the same amount of prep work as when you cook something in the oven or on the stove -- you just get to do the work earlier in the day.

If she meant it as a dig, she might've said "take-out dinners" or "mac 'n cheese" or something like that...

My understanding is that MB put in long hours and was very dedicated to Camp Gladiators. I'd be there too for a chance to be an instructor with that kind of income. I'm not sure how it works but I seriously know ( from what I've read) people are not happy, when they are tied into a contract with the G.O. of camp gladiators. The contract sounds sticky with no one on the other end of the phone and their account is deducted the amount every month to no avail. If I did some more research, MB's role is based somewhat on a commission.

orget about ever sleeping again, kiss family time goodbye - especially when you are starting up, have money saved up because you won't see any for quite a while in most situations, be all in or you won't last a minute

I have read on WS that MB was killed in SW corner of building near the doors where her truck was parked. Also, that MB walked toward the spot where SP was. And, that MB only had keys to the front door of the church. Wouldn't this indicate that someone knew that she always went in that door and walked down the hall to open the church door to get equip or water bottles out of truck? SP would know her route in the church and would know where to lie in wait.

Do you think maybe the killer watched her do this a few times before the murder? Would help develop specifics of the plan.

I think MT was eluding to the fact that there was a lot of crock pot meals and that the family was not having meals together because of MBs CG schedule and the schedule of the girls sports schedules. Yes lots of parents make crock pot meals no harm there but JMO she was taking a dig at MB. (Sorry SandyQS - didn't mean to get you in trouble)

You caused me to have a chuckle, WannaB. When you spoke about family members taking bloody shirts to the dry cleaners....Don't think I will ever understand the thought process there.

IMHO

Still one of the most bizarre acts in this case! Strikes me as some sick humor.. honestly. How could they not expect LE getting involved? Valuable tax money wasted here.

And as it turns out she found a way to get dinner on the table for her family. She is connected to her family and needs 2 people to be able to replace her, per the family's statements in MSM. God bless this hard-working woman for getting it all done. RIP MB.
SP needs to be jailed for hurting you and your family so badly. Not fair but justice almost always comes. I know we are ready- are you ready for life behind bars, SP?

if they thought about they should have put it in a bag drove straight to police station with report from vet clinic and this would have been a non issue. If they through it in the trash who's to say LE wouldn't have collected their trash like we heard they collected CTs. They just took it to Dry cleaners - just not thinking it through I suppose.

Missy Daddy died Dec 2014, RB Mother died suddenly Dec 2015 and then MB was Murdered April 18 2016. My heart hurts so bad for all but mostly 3 precious little souls I know how it is to lose loved ones close together but thankfully I was an adult when I had to start experiencing it. Can not imagine. JMHO

In addition MT's brother died January 2016, MT's mother died February 2016. Lots of heartbreak here.

JMO but I think MT said the comment with disdain when she was referring to MB using the crock pot. I guess anything other than home cooking with homemade biscuits indicates that a woman is putting too much time on her job and not as June Cleaver. :snooty:

This could certainly indicate a generational gap- I know Because I see this in my own life. Different strokes for different folks. MOO

Although iirc that was said in the first Press Conf, but yes I agree, done to be seen, same as wearing the SWAT get up. And honestly until they have an arrest I guess that is all they may be able to understand about the movements. But they realized enough to say they feel like she was Targeted. There was enough that the Texas Rangers to come on board next day. JMHO the SWAT get up is what got so many agencies involved so fast.

BBM...I Agree that or the fact that it was committed in a church... According to the Violent Crimes section of the FBI's "What We Investigate" web site at https://www.fbi.gov/about-us/investigate/vc_majorthefts, it seems like the FBI can be involved instantly if it is a murder for hire case or a serial killer. These types of cases can also be referred by local law enforcement.

I was born in the South and there is a direct way of making comments that to the average ear would never seem disdainful but to someone who grew up hearing the art of dressing someone down with honey-eyed words, I can spot it a mile away. Just like telling someone "Bless your heart". The innocent would thank the person saying it, those of us who grew up learning the language and speech would instantly know that it was a dig. Some Southern women can skillfully be so sweet talking while they are really dripping with venom. I've gone through the Media thread trying to find a couple of statements from MT and believe me her finely veiled comments about the crock pot meals the family ate due to MB schedule, working out and all and other statements said honey-eyed were really, IMO, showing a dislike for all the time that MB spent on her passion for working out. You have to grow up learning this skill, believe me. Absolutely nothing wrong with crock pot meals, wonderful way to cook good meals when you have a very full schedule.

Just a little sample:

"She'd gone to Austin for a Camp Gladiator meeting, so I took Brandon in for minor surgery," she recalls.

"But Tucker has mixed feelings about Camp Gladiator, noting that she doesn't even like to say the name. Asked why, she replies, "I guess because it took so much of her life, and then it took her life." "

I posted before in the threads before this, is CG has a bad wrap for getting out of a contract. The instructor is never home and works on commission plus there are tons of negative reviews on CG when trying to cancel a contract. This is the perfect mixture for a bad world. This could have been a colleague that was viewing Missy as taking away her competition.

Thanks for posting. If you google some CG reviews online, you will notice there were quite some unhappy campers out there criticizing CG customer service and cancellation policy.
Perhaps an additional angle, if one is inclined to believe so.

Just a general note, falling at random -- I think in the long run that we'd all be happier if speculations, suppositions, and rumors don't morph into facts. It just makes things harder for everyone.

Since early this afternoon, I see folks who have carried their assumptions on for a good 20+ posts- I'm no more convinced and influenced by these assumptions than I was before reading them. People see what they want to see and that will include me seeing nothing said that leads me to the phone with LE in Texas.

Do you think maybe the killer watched her do this a few times before the murder? Would help develop specifics of the plan.

Yes or someone that maybe helped her from time to time. JMO but this crime was well executed from start to finish. I don't think it was planned for a rainy day but it sure didn't hurt their (yes I said their) plan. It would be interesting if SWFA may have video in weeks leading up to murder if a car was seen in the parking lot at that time of the morning (LE has probably already thought of this) or if the church cameras outside were working and may have picked up something. Just my thoughts.

Maybe so but all the assumptions aside, Camp Gladiators is pretty shady. I've worked in the largest retailers office (in the world dear) and I know practices. That contract is a real bad deal and no one picks up the phone on the other end. Missy worked for a commission only. Camp Gladiators is not in my area, but then again, neither is Payday Loans.

Yes, there was quite some planning behind all that, whether it was a burglary or a targeted hit. In that regards I am wondering, if and how often the Creekside Church has travelers or tourists joining their services or events. Is the CC somehow connected to any other church(es) in other states? Does anyone know?
