Jethro - great job on finding an Altima parked near a place where one of your suspects works. I am not getting the coincidence at the house of your suspect though. Is there an Altima parked there that I can't see or is it just that the owner has bothered to have their home blurred on Google which you find odd ?

Tippy Lynn - what is a 'tuck under garage'? Do you mean a garage where the cars park under the main part of the house rather than a bump out from the house?

JMO: I think it was a personal, brutal and obscene (for lack of better words) attack so in their mind, a gun would've been "too easy." Plus, I think a gun could've been traced too easily. I don't own one, so IDK for sure.i think there was severe rage involved, which would coincide with puncture wounds to head and chest IMO.

If it's OK with Jethro, could we put his church layout in the media thread?

Oh, that. If you don't want someone to be able to see your house on street view you can request Google to blur it all out like that. No matter what angle you go to you will see something similar. But you do have to go through steps to do so. You have to prove it is your place, etc. to Google before they do it.

I see. Thanks for explaining.

For me it would depend on how well I knew BB and how I interpreted MB's situation . If I was working out with my neighbor (female) and I showed up and found her, I would call her husband to say something had happened to her and that 911 had been called. I am still working off the assumption they didn't know it was a murder (vs accident of some sort) and didn't have the paramedic's confirmation she was dead. Now if I knew she was dead, I would wait for someone official to make that phone call. I did think it was interesting that one of the campers had his number though.

Facebook has a feature that allows users to push your "friends" cell phone, email, etc., into your cell phone contacts. I don't know if BB had his cell phone listed on his FB or not. If he had it listed and they were FB friends, or his profile was public it could be how the camper had his number.

But, didn't he say he heard it was an accident at first? I do have to agree with rather hearing it from someone I "know" vs waiting to hear it through the grapevine. News traveled town fast before it was on MSM.

Not trying to sound like I'm contradicting myself, just remembered that after I posted.

If I am not mistaken KS said that MT called her and told her it was an accident. I forget who called MT and told her it was an accident and then she called KS. Then someone called KS and told her not an accident and then they got Uncles and themselves over to the house to be with the girls.

There is a pause in that time line that I cannot shake but it is purely speculative but did MT really receive a call or was she already up getting rid of evidence and told KS to go to girls because she could not and just told KS she was going to go to be with MB but really was not. Sounds like a Dr Seuss sentence when I read it back to myself. Sorry.

I think it was extremely personal and I think the perp was full of RAGE. It's hard for me to believe that someone can actually be that violent and it makes it even worse knowing it was done in a church. You just can't make this stuff up.......good grief, there has to be justice!!!!

Thank you Jethro4WS!!!!!

WOW....I'm impressed - I think you're onto something!!! Is that a tuck under garage in the blurred out photo?

I wish I knew.

It is relatively rare that someone goes through the process to have google blur your house out. There are several thousand houses in just Midlothian and Waxahachie alone. I have street viewed past thousands of them on a mission to find that car elsewhere and out of all the houses I have passed only 11 are blurred like that.

So yes, it very likely could be that it is nothing more than a coincidence.

We are rapidly approaching the three month point and there has STILL been no arrest. It would seem that this case is well on its way to becoming a cold case.

maybe they know or have an idea who could have done ths, but as of now, doesnt have enough to charge the perp. i really do think they have more on the camera that they kept from public and dont have enough for an arrest.

I've always wondered why the SP didn't use a gun. Seems like if SP could get close enough to hit MB with a hammer he could surely hit her with a bullet. Faster, easier. They are in Texas - where gun culture is pervasive in most circumstances unless:

--SP does not already have a gun of any kind in the house - not even a rifle.
--SP has a felony and can not easily obtain a weapon
--SP shares a bank account with someone else (spouse/parent) and a gun purchase would not go unnoticed.
--SP lives in an environment where having a gun would take more effort or call attention (children at home, roommates)

I just can't imagine a scenario where someone who will bludgeon someone in close combat could not "handle" a firearm. Is there a reason a firearm was not used?

--fear of people hearing gunshots?
--desire to physically beat someone?

To me, those reasons are not enough to trump the efficiency of a firearm to someone who wanted her dead- especially since they are so readily available to most people.

Anyone else wonder why a gun was (apparently) not used? We've heard about "puncture wounds" and "tools around the scene", so we don't know for sure.

All just my opinions...

Until we get to see the COD we all get to wonder, wonder, wonder, wonder. But I am with you I think a gun was used. SP couldn't even tap a pry bar correctly so a gun would be faster especially with only say 10 minutes to due the deed before the campers started showing up. Still such a narrow narrow window of time. So many things had to go just right. I think SP had this particular window.

SP up 2AM getting ready. May or may not have dresses partially at home or hotel. (There is something else for LE to check - hotel records for that night close by. hmmmmm)
SP drives to CoC breaks a few windows opposite area SP will commit crime and leaves property to make sure silent alarms have not gone off. CHECK.
SP drives back to CoC 3:30am? and breaks into (kitchen? I think this is per LE and pics we have) and may finish getting dressed
SP seen on camera 3:50am.
Wonders halls - we all saw SPs two and half minutes of video. Then has approx 30 min before MB shows
Now 4:18 MB enters
4:18-4:30.
SP knew window of opportunity was up at 4:30 because SP had to allow time to get out and off the property before campers started showing up. Very close call and I bet when SP watched on TV SP said I cut that a little close and poor first camper must still have nightmares with regards to how close that timeline was when camper arrived. It is okay by me. As long as people understand it is a work in progress.

Jethro, Frogs...how do y'all think SP got away without being noticed? What do you think they did with clothes?

Well SKresearch (sorry SK) said they would keep the helmet and (graphic) just wash off the blood and keep the vest as well and dispose of the rest. I sure hope SP does keep it around because all of us here will be on the ground laughing ourselves silly.

I do not think they through it in the creek as that creek is narrow there and too many things for it to get hung up on. It widens as you know later on towards Waxahachie on Bus 287 and goes into Getzendeiner Park but still so much debris there it would get hung up. Burn: No. Storage unit: Maybe Attic: Maybe Trunk still: Maybe UPS: shipped to foreign country where they wouldn't return it when it couldn't be delivered. (If boxed closed how would UPS know)

All good thoughts, just curious. So not dumped off somewhere along a road trip? I just have to think they would have blood splatters all over. Sorry for the visual.

So are you leaning to the thought they kept it and hid it somewhere? My guess is actually burn. No real reason why I think that except it seems like the safest way to ensure you aren't caught with it. With all the precautions they took to not be identified, I would think completely destroying every bit of that outfit would be priority number 1. If you are caught with any piece of it that can tie you to that video, you are pretty much sunk.

Sure there is. There is still plenty of detail we don't have about what the scene was like, and we don't know exactly where the tools were, or if there was an attempt to conceal them.

What if the perp killed her but then afterward broke a glass table and positioned her body next to it? It wouldn't pass LE scrutiny, but it could fool campers into thinking it was a freak accident, long enough for the perp to get further away.

We just don't know enough.

I think when the paramedics and LE arrived, they saw broken glass and assumed the glass meant there had been a struggle. But it was actually just from SwatPerp vandalizing the place before she got there.

No. Software development. Basically I solve problems for a living. I look at this as a problem, one I would like to see solved.

Another good one:)

I know some County Assesor's have online access to property tax info, including photos and you can look up by owner, address, or by map. Do you know if Ellis County has online property tax info with pics?
Ellis county does. Hopefully, this like will work. This link in particular takes you to the church. Once there you can go the maps and such.
