OK...

LEO said Perp first appeared on video at 358. Thats the time stamped image that is a little better to look at but the MPD video show a few seconds prior (time stamp door opened and walking off, fixing to leave area. ...

The area that Perp walked to then goes to next camera is right at those doors. notice the little rack holding papers and the door and the sliding accordion type door. right next to the hall with the dutch doors.

The accordion doors are the coffee bar and I think I remember what the others are but I don't want to misspeak so I am waiting on some clarification fingers crossed that the secretary will send me a copy of the emergency floor plan. Btw there is ALWAYs one on that BB

The awning, or Porte cochere entrance is at the bottom of this aerial view of the building...where there is a visible drive-through under the extended roof. That is where the crime scene tape was up, and where both cars upthread were pictured.

The 'front' of the church technically faces the HWY 67 (where a building fronts the street determines its address). The front of the church had no crime scene tape (see WFAA videos), and has a shallow driveway-style parking lot with several handicapped parking spaces. It has a long stretch of glass doors which open up to soaring ceilings and a spacious main entry hall with the main sanctuary directly opposite those doors.

The Porte cochere, since it is at the one end where the major part of the parking lot is (and where drop-offs occur), is often (though less precisely) referred to as the front or main entrance. But while a main entrance, it is technically not 'the' main, front entrance. What complicates things is that the church sits somewhat diagonally on the lot. But the architecture and the address both seem to agree that the front of the building is not this Porte cochere entrance but the one in the long drive opposite all those handicapped parking spots.

Got it!! The awning from the arial view looks way too small to handle the length of a huge truck plus the back of the evidence truck together. I thought it was crazy that they ever exercised under there but it's much larger than it appears from the air.

Thank you!

I saw reference to a cafe as well. I assume that is also the coffee bar?

You are giving us so much info today! Poor arkansasmimi is about to pull her hair out trying to match everything up for all of us here. My most sincere thanks to both of you!!! :blowkiss:

I really think they had nothing to do with it wasn't the post where his doggie was mauled a day or so before her murder?

If you scroll through Missy's facebook photos, somewhere around june of 2015 there is a picture of the CG campers in front of the accordion doors. It has a "holy grounds" sign atop. I think this is the same doors that can be seen in one of the video clips.

Not sure but in the beginning of the 3 in 1 video, you can see one of those foldable accordion style
doors that you pull open. On the picture you sent where u can't make out where those doors are, in the left hand corner of the frame is that accordion style door.

lol Thanks, I saw that thats where I got the ss from but I trying to figure out where the door is.. The outside door. That flooring with the pretty design, I have looked thru many many photos and the only place I see that same style is in the Main hallway from Awning side across to the other side of the building near the drive.. and in the main foyer area. I was thinking IT MIGHT be that door on opposite side of building but not sure what else is in that front side on the left side of the front entrance. There are a small plate with something on it and posted on each wall (as your coming in can see or coming from opposite direction) by the dutch doors. But I do thank you for helping

I'm starting to wonder if the cops are running around in circles just like all of us here. If they knew who it was I think an arrest would have been made already.

I am going to quit beating around the bush - I don't know these people but I would bet money NONE of the family were at all involved , and I feel so bad for them I could cry -I usually think the other way , but not this time for some reason AT ALL - You're welcome :)

Missy was killed on Monday, April 18th. The dog fight occurred a few days after that, on Thursday, April 21st I think. Someone will correct me if that date is incorrect, I'm sure. But the point is that the dog was killed after Missy's murder. However, the FIL, who was one of the dog's owners, did not arrive in Midlothian until after Missy's murder.

Randy Bevers and his wife arrived in Midlothian from Oceanside, California, with their pets, shortly after Missy was killed. Stout said a few days after Missy Bevers was murdered, there came another kind of heartbreak when her dog, Yogi, killed another family pet.

100% agree! And I'm the same way....I usually suspect everyone. So, see? We don't disagree on everything! ;) I do think she was targeted so we disagree there but that's okay. Most of us here disagree on aspects of Missy's case and so far, we're all getting along just fine. So glad you decided to come and post in here!

Yes, in my reply I do have cameras and alarms. The fact that someone had a break in still does not mean they are required by law to have an alarm. An alarm is meant to protect property; not life. As there is no duty under the law to have alarms OR cameras, the church is not liable.

I think you are misunderstanding the differences between building code and premises liability. When you are found liable under premises liability it doesn't mean you're required by law to do anything (except perhaps to pay the plaintiff). It says Because X happened on your premises, you have to pay Y, not that you have some sort of building code violation that must be remedied. As far as the law is concerned you can keep doing whatever you were found liable for, just if someone else gets hurt on your premises they can sue (and probably win even more than the first person who sued and won). Also where are you coming up with that security systems aren't meant for security of life as well as property? This is the first time I've ever heard anyone say that security systems aren't meant to protect people. In fact here's a lawyer in Texas who specifically handles inadequate security premises liability:
http://www.swimmingpoolaccidentlawyer.com/Personal-Injury/Inadequate-Security.aspx
And here's a couple more as well showing that 'inadequate security' is in fact a legal specialty in Texas:

I have a theory that I think fits. I'm not saying that I would put money on this being what happened, but it does fit.

I think someone wanted Missy dead. I don't have any theories on who, but I think just about every possibility has been offered up on these threads already. Take your pick!
That someone didn't want to do the killing personally, though. So they paid someone to do it for them. That does not mean that it's a hit by someone who knows what they're doing (someone mentioned a hit being unlikely because Missy died from head wounds and that isn't like a hitman, but I don't think a hitman needs to be experienced or skilled, they just need to have been paid to kill someone).
That someone took their money and ran. They could be anywhere now, anywhere in the world. We still don't know what that person in the SWAT gear looked like (so experienced or not, they were pretty smart), so they can still move freely around the world.
And I think whoever ordered the kill on Missy is probably hoping that because they likely transacted in cash and in person (away from cameras if smart, but we'll see) that it will never be traced back to them.

I would say it's about 2.5 hours from Midlo to N. Austin.

ETA: There is some construction on 35 headed South so it might take a little longer due to that...

Traffic along I-35 from Dallas to Austin is horrible! Yes, there is always construction.

IMHO

My thing is that the family plus the dry cleaners and LE know how a bizarre killing works.

So who released the bloody shirt information and why?

Were they lookingfor a reward

After watching enough ID TV episodes, I've learned that the minority of "hit jobs" are actually done by professional assassins. Friends, relatives, etc have been paid to strangle, stab, murder victims with whatever is handy in often haphazard ways..

Help!! Were there prior burglaries at this specific church prior to this murder? I Googled but can't find anything. But I read about 2 burglaries in someone's post but didn't think they were referencing THIS church.
