As a RN I have kept looking at the gait ( walking ) disturbance in the video. And suddenly I am like duh... It is the gait of an alcoholic- stiff lower legs with low flexing of calf muscle use, with wide base stance- spread apart for stabilization and protruding belly. The murderer is an alcoholic

I wouldn't doubt that in fact that would fit the bill pretty good. You have to be mentally off to some degree just to commit something so horrific as this. I was thinking on motives , sex, anger, frustration, resentment getting jilted are all powerful emotions. I recall a case where a hubby ( not this one) had an affair on his wife and then dumped the gal. She went about trying to ruin their life out of jealousy and anger and resentment. This case makes me wonder..... just saying

Better recheck the dates on your article. It was updated last week April 19. If you watched his presser yesterday, you learn he's changed his mind and now thinks that Missy was targeted. Hope that helps.

Why shouldn't he talk to the public? Do you think he's involved somehow?

Updated 6:00 PM Tuesday April 19th. This is his original interview where he at first did not believe she was targeted. This was a day after the murder.

I'm starting to wonder if the cops are running around in circles just like all of us here. If they knew who it was I think an arrest would have been made already.

Everyday that goes by, my expectations for them solving this case drop.

No. It was originally published April 19th. They added a bi-line putting 6pm this evening, it was just re-posted online at 6pm tonight and I grabbed the one in the last hr.

I am a RN too. I wondered same. OR it could be younger girl all dressed up in heavy gear etc. Many believe the shoes way too big. Costume bulked up etc. Many theories IMO.

PEOPLE PLEASE!! There is a NEW BI-LINE WITHIN that old Article. I pulled it 30 minutes ago..it was posted online at 6PM TONIGHT. They are only adding BB latest comments... which were that "she didn't know her killer"

The murderer is an alcoholic- not end stage alcoholism but far enough to have gait disturbance so I'd say functional alcoholic-This rules out all the fitness early bird campers. Close examination of those who know her schedule at very close range and imbibe will narrow the field. Exam local package/ liquor store cameras see who was frequent visitor during the 3 months prior which is my guess the planning period. Townies my guess have good idea

I had no clue alcoholics had gait disturbances???

I think the gait could be from a woman wearing clothing too big and heavy for her so she's compensating for that extra weight the way she's used to doing when she's been pregnant in the past. JMO.

ROFLMAO .... For those newbies... when something finally come out or an arrest is made.... It gonna be crazy. I would encourage Everyone to read / refresh on the TOS ... no one likes to go in time out or thread get shutdown. Especially the Mods.... Take if from someone who knows ... it aint no fun, finding something or wanting to post and not able to. I'm thinking about killer's route today, where he went right after the murder.

I'm also disagreeing with the husband's opinion that this was someone Missy didn't know. While that may be true, it may not be true, IMO. That SWAT helmet is a whole lotta bother for someone Missy and/or community doesn't know, wouldn't recognize (in the slim chance she survived the attack).

So back to the route the killer took after killing... I'm thinking killer would want to maintain his everyday routine so as to not arouse suspicion. (I also think killer is young and local and somehow associated with Missy's circles. Don't believe he was a hired hit who flew in or out on a private plane. IMO, that kind of professional killer wouldn't display the hallway and vandalism behavior our killer did.)

So...back to the route. For me, the most obvious connection would be a gym connection. (I also believe our killer is fit.) So, if he went directly to Missy's gym (maybe with SWAT clothes stashed in duffle), maybe he went directly to the showers at the gym, first, then worked out, and then went on to where he goes for his Monday morning weekday.

If the killer went to work out at Anytime Fitness after killing Missy, his route might look something like this:



On the map (which I hope cooperates and opens up), B (top left) is Creekside Church and C (bottom right) is Anytime Fitness.

I noticed there is a cemetery mid-route. Presumably LE has searched that area as well as taken down the names of those who worked out at Anytime Fitness that morning after the murder and before 9AM. Not that that proves one of those clients had to be the killer. Just a possible, circumstantial piece of the puzzle.
