Good morning fellow sleuths! I've been lurking and following for quite awhile now. Still figuring out how to navigate around so excuse any mistakes I make! I just wondered if maybe this was a "thrill kill" by a local sociopath. It can't be random because the perp would have had to know that Missy would be there at 4 am. But maybe their thinking was, "Who does she think she is? She's got too big for her britches, I'll show her." It's kind of a weak theory, but you never know these days!

I'm sort of leaning in this direction, too. JMO

can someone here PLEASE answer this as ive asked twice now and its relevant imho

I always have & always will take my good clothing to the cleaners.

There is only one house with a high fence around it exactly opposite the church. The closest businesses are about a mile down the road. It’s pretty hard to see whats going on from a mile away, especially at night when it’s raining. Anyway those businesses would be closed at 4AM, so nobody would be there to see what was happening.

But for the possibility of security cameras, it looks like the perfect place to go to watch the submarine races, KWIM?

Again - a quick show of hands

who here has taken a ladies blouse to the dry cleaners?

I never have.

When I worked and wore nice clothes, I took shirts in. But this is a Laura Scott shirt. That's a low-end brand. Sears carries it. With some blood stains and the cost of maybe $4 to launder with questionable results, it was probably better suited as a cleaning rag. But these people were out of town so maybe a trip to the dry cleaners was easier than a trip to Sears or Walmart.

Anywoo..... I still can't get over LE saying they are winding down over the weekend. Even if they were responding to media inquiries and really were allowing some personnel to take a break, why would they share such a thing to the public? I cannot think of any case where such a statement was made within 2 short weeks after such a brutal, frightening and puzzling murder. Can anyone think of a similar LE communication?

It would make sense if they are ready to strike tomorrow. And know the murderer won't go whacko today. I guess that would shoot down my theory it's a nutter psycho video-gaming stranger. Boy, can't wait until tomorrow! :copcar:

It could have been an obsession. Could have been an angry spouse of someone other than her own. Could have been someone who felt Missy was taking over their territory in regards to CG or even Leve-l. Could have been an ex lover. Could have been a close friend. Could have been related to financial issues. Shoot there are a million reasons. I absolutely believe she was the intended target but until the LE releases more information all we can do is guess. JMO.

I totally agree- there are a number of reasons I can think of for motive.

Have you ever tried to separate two fighting dogs? I did, me and my mother. The doggies managed to injury each other and my mom. None of the injuries were serious, but blood was everywhere. On both dogs, on my mom, on me, on the floor, on the furniture and on the walls. It looked like a scene of grisly murder. So yup, I can easily believe that if one dog bit other to death and two people tried to save the bitten one, both of them got bloody.

I will agree with this! Been there done that and it wasn't pretty!

I'm kinda disappointed thaT it's suddenty open season on BB. I get why he coudl be suspect but i feel like it's getting out of hand and we are doing the tunnel visioin we so often accuse LE of doing. MOO

Let me be clear. It IS NOT open season on BB. We do not allow sleuthing of any family members. We do not allow anything rude or disrespectful.

I have posted asking how members, who feel a certain person is guilty, will feel if this person is totally innocent.

If you feel you could not face the person you are going to post about and say the same thing to their face then don't post it on the Internet.

Police say Missy was targeted. Police haven't told us BB's alibi checks out. We are only going by the information we are seeing in the mainstream media.

Members can comment on BB's statements he made publicly and what he personally posts on his public Facebook page.

If you see a post you feel is too harsh or disrespectful please hit the alert button. It is a red triangle in the lower left-hand corner of each post.

If you have any further questions please do not disrupt the thread. You can send me a private message or email [email protected]

Thank you,
Tricia

thanks for all the replies

at a rough count 70% find taking ladies blouses to the Dry Cleaner deeply unusual

the work clothes/routine/military comments can be disregarded

I don't think we are talking silk blouses so they can be disregarded

the Q actually should have been: who here would take a polo shirt sodden with a dying pets last blood to get drycleaned? and the amount of folk who said this was Unusual would've been more like 99%

either way thanks for the answers as its told us that Yes this is Weird by at least 70% of folks standards even if its a silk manteaux hand stitched by babies in a French castle.

then ad the Presser the Bevers apparently Called! and you have Shirtgate. Please Explain Mr Beverses.

It's really hard for me to say what I'd do if I was traveling and only had a limited number of shirts with me. And maybe it's not easy to find replacement shirts in a size 2XL?

That door handle is from the OUTSIDE of door. I bet that is what happen, Suspect went through that trouble and then realized that there was another door .. notice that glass isnt broken on that inside glass, because you can see a reflection. I be then went around back broke the glass and reached in like someone else said and pressed that bar to open the door. ... Only reason I can figure busting that end hallway door. .... could leave any door wished to to use, I guessing. Locked only from outside. JMHO

I agree. We know when the perp first appeared on interior cameras, and it looks like those are only in the hallways. We don't know when he arrived outside the building.

I suspect it took him/her longer to gain entry into the building than s/he anticipated.

My other theory is that the perp may have blocked or disabled the doors somehow so MB could not escape. That's a dark theory, I know.

Personally, if I were out of town, I'd RATHER go to a walmart or Target rather than have to make two trips - one to drop off at a dry cleaners and another to pick up. Not to mention the fact that, with a limited wardrobe, they'd be without a few things for a few days.

Exactly. I refuse to believe that the perp accidentally parked his car in the spot where the cameras did not reach and also accidentally managed to walk trough the parking lot, without turning the cameras on or getting caught on video. He surely planned it carefully, completed the SWAT gear, learned where are the cameras on the parking lot and how to avoid them. I don't know what was his purpose, an imaginary SWAT mission in the church or killing Missy, but he planned it beforehand. So either he attended the church or participated in the courses and activities that took place in the church building.

they weren't travelling?

it was RB and Mrs B whos shirts got to the drycleaners, locally iirc?

so the XXL womans the media has focused on is Mrs B's but there is another shirt that RB said was still at the dry cleaenrs. Obvously this is not true Police would have both. Maybe they regularly take shirts in and there was only a tiny amount from the dog death anyway. I remember the dog I saved barely bleeding at all and I thought theyd killed him.

Could the "Saran Wrap box" be the silver cover of the door closer at the top of the doors? Like this one in the picture? Just a thought.

I think they are traveling. Aren't they in the area from out of town? Staying with friends or relatives?

And yes, I agree with you that it's not true that one bloody shirt is with LE and one is at the cleaner's. That makes zero sense, but I can't figure out the reason for that slip of the tongue.

missy bevers TODAY 4 20 CHURCH SS 4.JPG

From the News Presser 4/18/2016
There was a camera outside but WAS NOT WORKING. Video of MB was obtained when she entered in the church.
She walked down the main hallway and out of view and was in that area when located. Motion did not activate the camera, no video of assault...

Suspect went thru that metal door into the KITCHEN, although he broke the window and other door (the back hallway door unsure which side of bld) but broke class and got thru thru the door. They dont know if Suspect went into another room or where after the assult but believe he left the same way he came in.
Per the press conference. I always like to go back and review.

:deadhorse::deadhorse:
When someone passes away there are so many things to do, flowers, funeral home arrangements, contacting friends and extended family. MAYBE they just didn't want to bother with it and let a professional handle it.

If there is MB's DNA on it, LE will know. By the way, they took all 5 shirts because they were dirty and have FIL and MIL DNA on it. They don't even have to get a search warrant to get the DNA, that's an easy one. Why would LE pass up the opportunity? It would only stand to reason that they have someone's DNA from the crime scene.

Exactly. I refuse to believe that the perp accidentally parked his car in the spot where the cameras did not reach and also accidentally managed to walk trough the parking lot, without turning the cameras on or getting caught on video. So either he attended the church or participated in the courses and activities that took place in the church building.

So what does this tells us. The perp is on other previous church - video footage scoping out the cameras. Not just one camera either. But all of them. So that may be the needle in the haystack of combing through previous videos to see which person whether a parishioner or parent was scoping out every single camera periodically. Especially all exterior cameras.

Now the perp may have shown up the day before to get one last glimpse and do one last walk around. So they possibly could have went to a church service that Sunday and dilly dallied through the hallways one last time. So imo. The perp is definitely on video.

Now police can thin out the crowd somewhat. But it will take time.

Thanks for your post and yes I agree, an earlier post spoke of "if" the perp approached her and you're seeing this tactical police gear, I would totally be accepting of whatever, they might say or do ~ the authority of it alone, that's how I grew up actually to NOT interfere with police/fire/EMS who are seeking to "help" others, Missy may have reacted the same.

I rarely post, feel so inadequate, I truly enjoy reading each and every post, thanks so much! Trying to set aside my shyness.

I think those signs say preschool. The end if the hall is the preschool classes.
Which end? I mean if facing the Dutch doors. would it be to the left end or the other side of the glass doors? opposite side of the hall ?

Looked like a C first letter lol but then again my eyes and bifocals never know lol missy bevers TODAY 4 20 CHURCH SS 5.JPG

Darnit almost end of this thread!

Hey all- I was obsessing a little too much about this case- constantly checking for news throughout the day- and being a local, I am more than a little freaked out. I took a step back for a couple of days, but I stayed up way too late last night catching up on this post.

There is just one thing that I want to mention, because I keep coming back to it. Does anybody else feel like there had to have been a catalyst for Missy's murder? Even if it was premediated (which it was, in my opinion), I feel like something happened (or was perceived to have happened) that caused the murderer to act on their plans. So what happened in the days and weeks leading up to her murder? IMOO, something happened during the Austin CG trip and the murderer decided now was the time to act. I just keep thinking back on this and something that happened in those days in Austin was the catalyst. I am just kind of thinking aloud here, I guess....

That being said, I can think of many different reasons for motive- Glammie mentioned quite a few of them in a previous post on the last page and I agree with her on all of them.
