TX - Terri 'Missy' Bevers,45, murdered in church/person in SWAT gear,18 Apr 2016- # 8

Regarding cameras. There was a case in OK with the Bever brothers (yes, almost same last name as MB ) They killed their parents and all but two of their siblings (one called 911 and that was the only reason the other two survived). But, I do remember reading that they had cameras set up throughout their house to record the murders. They planned to "publish" them later so they would be famous. I'm thinking the same thing with this perp. He/she knew the cameras were there, and that they couldn't be identified and relished the thought they would be recorded and we would all see it.

I thought for sure by now LE would be able to piece together who did this and get them The longer it goes, the scarier it gets. This perp was so twisted in so many ways. I can see them sitting back reading comments and just smirking at what they think they are getting away with. I'm 50/50 on man or woman but I lean towards a woman. If a man, I'm really leaning towards younger (but not under 18) only because I have the thoughts of the Bever brothers case in my head. It's similar to this but they were teenagers and what they thought was the "perfect" murder didn't turn out to be.

And on a woman doing this, nothing like a woman scorned to make her research and detail out everything and want to make the person "pay". Would I know half of the things he/she did in the video, nope, wouldn't have a clue. But if someone has been around LE their entire life and has some knowledge, YouTube is an amazing thing and you can learn quite a bit. That's the only reason I'm NOT leaning towards teenager. I think they could have planned it but there would be some flaws because they are young and inexperienced. This person tells me some experience has been had.

Ugh. Come on LE, you can do this!! Or, if you truly are clueless, give us some more details to help.

The detail, research, time spent, knowledge of victim, fact he owns this weird outfit, and all of these tools, knows about surveillance cameras, and his brazen cockiness really makes me wonder if it isn't some serial killer who stalks people he meets either online or in real life. He obviously doesn't think he will ever get caught. I wonder if he yelled out POLICE when she first walked in. You need to come with me there's been a break in. Something like that maybe.

Hmmmm...... ISTM that if the picture is showing the "back" hallway, then it must be facing toward the hallway with the Dutch doors (southeast?).

The reason it could not be the back hallway facing "northwest" is that we can't see the exterior doors which are at the very end of the hallway in the picture showing the Dutch doors.

We know it is not the main hallway (with the foyer), and we know it is not the hallway with the Dutch doors.

If it is the "back" hallway, then the room s/he is coming out of would be the area with the stage for the auditorium, right?

And if it is the hallway near the kitchen, and the perp is headed toward the main "foyer" hallway, then the room the perp comes out of would probably be the kitchen.

That definitely makes sense! I see your point about the exterior doors. Arkansas had told me at one time that the alcove (is that the word?) doors were the ones that enter the sanctuary. Or, actually arkansas said that all of the sanctuary doors are alcove doors (we don't know if other doorways had alcoves as well). It just made me wonder, because the "alcove door" in the screenshot was on the left side, if that would lead to the sanctuary. If it's not the kitchen hallway, for me it would have to be the back hallway for the alcove door to be there. But, I admit that I have no sense of direction so I have to pause the footage all the time to get a handle on where the cameras are because the directions get all messed up otherwise.

Okay, I'll think on this a bit! Thank you for the explanation of what you meant!

ETA: To prove I have no sense of direction, my thoughts still don't make sense considering this is the end of a hallway. The alcove door would be on the right if in the back hallway as I thought (because it's still at the end of the hall with the cameras where they are). Sorry, I am definitely the one confused here. . NOT smart. Probably was being hacked and perp knew every move she made and every person she had contact with. I don't know anyone who doesn't have all kinds of security on their devices especially first level passwords.

I don't think that is a true SWAT outfit. I think it's a police jacket, motorcycle helmet and sweatpants with pads underneath. S/he may be wearing some sort of vest with pockets and loops for storing tools and added padding.

I think this perp is someone who enjoys ingenuity and using items on-hand to "make it work." In fact, I think it's probably someone who is known for that ability and perhaps takes pride in "doing it for yourself." Someone who takes matter in his/her own hands - perhaps even someone who takes it upon her/himself to fix things for other people. Someone confident in his/her abilities. Perhaps even someone known for bullying outsiders. Well, that's my new hunch I'm coming up with today...worth what you paid for it.

I agree that it was after the murder. Perp seems to be less focused on getting something done, which means his mission was accomplished at that point. Slower walk, touching walls and maybe reflecting on what he had done and the peak out the door before leaving. Does anyone know what door the perp is leaving from right before the hand on wall clip?

MB life was an open book. She had no password on her cellphone and/or IPad. I believe it was LE who stated that's when they said they were "combing" through her social media for clues. She also, apparently, had given BB the password to her FB account. We know that because things have been deleted from it since the first day we looked at it. I still get the feeling that BB was insecure with her new body and power. I found it interesting that the pic used for her OBIT was one of her before her body was slimmer and more defined. No these things do not make him guilty of her murder, but it appears that marriage was not in a good place.

Here's a woman who took what she had and made it better and helped others to do the same. She worked like a dog and ended up dead. This woman deserves JUSTICE!

What makes you say that? I disagree. In interview he complimented her body and said that she texts him "I love you have a nice day" every single day and he also said a bunch of really nice things about her as a person. I didn't see discord at all. Have you guys ever thought that maybe the perp did this right after he left on fishing trip to make it look like he was behind it? BB posted things about the upcoming trip online for anyone friend or not to see.

To put it another way, I think this camera has to be located in the far corner of the building from the entrance that MB came in the building. So think about the camera being in the opposite corner from the cameras where we see the perp looking at the bulletin board and later walking down the Dutch door hallway.

But from that position the camera is still looking down one of two hallways, we are not sure which.

The recessed opening to the right could be the back hallway or a recessed entry into the auditorium if the camera is facing down the kitchen hallway, or it could lead to the double doors to the outside on the back of the building if the camera is pointing down the back hallway.

Ugh, so hard to explain.

BBM...I think the horrific nature of this crime makes it necessary. Perhaps that is why LE never stated "the perp walking down the hall...WITHOUT WEAPONS/TOOLS IN HAND" was the end of the sequence. It wasn't until other posters brought it to my/our attention, that I realized it could be the perp exiting the building. And, then I looked to see if the perp had any "objects in their hand"....AND THEY DID NOT! That is how I came to my conclusion. (I may be wrong, but I seriously doubt it.)

I think you're right. Makes more sense than anything else I've read in these multiple threads. LE has a lot of footage, and never actually said what footage (before and/or after murder) that they released to public.

I got chills watching that possible exit. Wow.

Good point. I have a question?? When the perp walks all the way into the one room..what is keeping the motion sensor camera going?

I think this person was in both side halls and we have video of him/her in both east and west hallways. (And front hallway)

When on the tile heading toward the end Missy enters into, he turns left into that hallway.(eastside). Opens the dutch doors and then continues on down. Suppose while at the end of that hall, he/she breaks off the rectangular door pusher and then heads back up the hall toward Missy entrance but stops and enters into the big auditorium on his/her right and goes across the entire auditorium and that is where he's seen coming out of 12 and into the other (west) hallway on the other side. Missy Ark I remember you saying this. He knocks out a window on the door across the
hall from where he came out.(on the west side)

The place where he comes out is the room where he is barely seen knocking out a window, he turns right, no instruments in tow and steadies him/herself and is now headed toward the front of the church and will turn right to exit the way he came in. (??!!#)

But this is on the opposite hallway (west side) and seems like quite a way to travel. Also, Campers 1 and 2 would have seen the mess in the main hallway and who in their right mind would continue on.....

Also, the perp knew he/she would be alerted by Missy's headlights coming up the road.

I am sure this scenario sounds kooky. Just thinking silently and probably 5 steps behind.

I at first thought that, too, but if you look closer at around :43, after the lame attempt to open the door, the overhead light dances across the helmet as he lifts his head. It seems to move from the visor area to the top of his head. This is why I have been convinced there is no helmet lamp; that we are just seeing the strong light reflected on the shiny surface.

I respectfully disagree. You can see as h/she walks down the hallway in this picture (circled but video linked below) that the light on the helmet hits the door frame / molding as he walks. Watch it appear and move as he walks toward the camera. Approx 1:40 to 1:43 in the video.

GOTCHA! :doh: The problem was, I didn't realize that the recessed opening could be a hallway until I looked at the photo again, after I posted my response to you. You're right, it could also be doors that lead outside. I made myself a diagram from your post and that helped me a lot! This scene had me all turned around but I think I am totally with you now. Thank you again for taking the time to explain this to me. I have class today but I want to be able to keep up and understand what y'all are saying, because I won't be able to post.

While I believe that RB was in Oceanside at the time I find this kind-of interesting.

And RB swings his arms when he walks too with toes pointed out, but perp looks much shorter, right? And a lot of old guys have fat stomachs. Wouldn't it be crazy if the perp was a pregnant female! That stomach does NOT match the rest of the body. Either it's fake or something else is up.
