Could he be testing the camera range? Which means he was communicating with someone who was watching the video in real time? When he is behind the open door at .20 secs, what's he doing? Texting or making a call? Then he proceeds to attempt to open the next door in a half assed manner and wanders around aimlessly.

Some have speculated keying a mike. Answering someone who is informing them of MB whereabouts. Makes sense if 2 perps?

Repectfully BBM hmm seems disoriented doesn't he/she? Kinda stumbles a little back and forth this is at the 8 sec mark https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ePS8TJ6UAqY&feature=youtu.be

ARKANSASMIMI B-I-N-G-O!! Yep the perp walks out of that room at 8 sec mark and NO LONGER HAS ANY OBJECTS IN HANDS!! Wasn't it stated the weapon or weapons were found near the body?? I think that is the perp exiting the room after the murder and left the room empty handed. I have a long hallway in my office, and I staggered once and reached out to steady myself along the wall. (after emotional phone call...) Anyway, it was almost an instinct to reach out and steady myself after the intense verbal discourse.
All the other parts of the videos we have seen, the perp has a wide stance, confident stride, albeit with a gimpy right foot...but yep, definitely a slower more deliberate exit out of that room. Great catch by the way!! You are super sleuth!

Sorry if it was already discussed. He also makes a hand motion like he's pushing up eye glasses when he's trying to open the door.

Anyone know why the FBI is involved? They only get involved under special circumstances.

Also, did they mention if only one person found her or more? I think they need to look very closely at the first camper who literally according to the official timeline arrived 10 mins after Missy and did not call 911 until at least 30 mins later! How on earth is it possible that some perp shocked her probably with screams, bashed her head in long enough for her to die, hid the blood trail, and made his/her exit and drive away, all in time for camper 1 to enter and not see or hear anything? Almost impossible. And again, why didn't camper look for Missy right away having seen her truck in parking lot. Why did it take this person 30 mins to find her and call 911? The devil's in the details and this is a huge detail we cannot overlook. Probably why they aren't releasing campers name.

I agree. Out of breathe. Making their way out somehow after the crime.

Quick revisit of bible verse on BB's FB page: if he wasn't referring to Missy or himself but rather to the killer having 'been tempted and led away and it leading to death' then maybe he's referring to some married guy who either crushed on and/or tried to get with Missy or actually hooked up with her.

For those who've analyzed the video stills - can you tell perp's hair or skin color or style?

I thought I saw eyeglasses too in one of the pictures. Do you know what time this occurs on tape?

Yes. Texas law considers that a felony. So this will be a death penalty case. I'll draw up the lethal injection!!!!

It won't be a death penalty case if the perp is under the age of 18, per the Supreme Court of the US. I don't think a teenager killed Missy, but I know some people think it was a person as young as 15 who killed her.

Has it been reported that perp was left handed?

Many theories. Uses both. Some say right trying to look left. Others say ambidextrous.

Some posters thought they saw dark hair and some thought blonde. I can't see any hair in the video.

It was reported early in the investigation that the FBI has special case-tracking software that is assisting with all of the tips in this case. The MPD is a relatively small PD with little experience in handling homicides. I think people are over-analyzing why the FBI is helping. They frequently assist smaller departments.

It looks like BBs mother and husband own an oil company that BB is president or Vice President of. Could this have been in retaliation of something knowing BB would be out of town? Maybe someone didn't get a contract from said company or maybe someone was stealing money and Missy suspected them or found out.

Someone really wanted this woman dead, not just hurt. So either they needed her out of the way to save their own skin, or this was done as some form of punishment to either her or her family. Or they just really hated her for some reason and wanted/needed her dead

He/she has different objects in his/her hands throughout the video. Appears to be putting into taking out of some type of pouch on the front of them.

I believe LE would only release video of the perpetrator after the murder if it was absolutely necessary, out of respect for Missy and the family. But I could be wrong.

Could also be for the harvesting of electronic communications like in the Nicole Lovell case. FBI was called in within the hour, same day.

What do these theorists think the motive for a 15 year old killing her is? Did they say? Maybe a former bf of one of the daughters?

BBM...I think the horrific nature of this crime makes it necessary. Perhaps that is why LE never stated "the perp walking down the hall...WITHOUT WEAPONS/TOOLS IN HAND" was the end of the sequence. It wasn't until other posters brought it to my/our attention, that I realized it could be the perp exiting the building. And, then I looked to see if the perp had any "objects in their hand"....AND THEY DID NOT! That is how I came to my conclusion. (I may be wrong, but I seriously doubt it.)
