How is that? I just asked to be referenced back to a post that I can't seem to find. I know someone earlier posted that we should put it all in one thread to easily find, so people like me can find it. :blushing:

I tried scanning back and cannot find this picture either. It was posted by Sparky- maybe that could help.

Just because BB alibi checks out, it doesn't mean he is not involved. (But hopefully not for the kids sake).

I just posted the link, that is all. This is a quote from a local news station and it names no names (source) nor has LE stood in front of a mic and said anything about this matter.

Thank you for your great contributions.

The perp seems to want to punish the community at large, imo.
The murder was committed in a church, no doubt a central place in a small community, the victim was left brutalized, the strong, vivacious woman, silenced and broken- left for others to find and imo, be horrified.
Doors opened, touched and fouled by a murderer's hands, windows smashed- a tangible assault on the church for all passersby to see.
To add insult to injury, all this is done while wearing an ill-fitting ridiculous parody of a respected uniform.
Maybe Missy was the sacrificial lamb - the " puncture " wounds, a crucifixion of sorts?
Speculation, imo.

The vandalism in these churches were apparently very upsetting for the children..

Clinton police investigate two church break-ins
Thieves break into Parkway Baptist, leave behind trail of blood
May 11, 2015

One of the culprits apparently suffered a cut from the broken glass and left a trail of blood through areas of the church, authorities said. The thieves broke four windows, rummaged through the church office and made off with several items.

“We’ve had several children who have had to be taken home, because it’s just emotionally hard for them to cope with somebody breaking into the church building,” said church administrator Jehu Brabham. “It disrupts their normal Sunday schedule of fun and fellowship.”

YamBunny;

I haven't read past your post, so I am not sure if you found your last three links. I found them for you .... sorry if it duplicates anything.

One day prior to murder, BB tells mother he is worried for his wife's safety at 5 am classes
"The morning before we knew anything had happened, he said ‘I’ve told her, I’ve told her she’s got to be careful.’ He was just so afraid something would happen,” said Tucker,"

RB (FIL) and wife were out of town
"Randy Bevers and his wife arrived in Midlothian from Oceanside, California, with their pets, shortly after Missy was killed."

Some church cameras just happened not to be working that day
"Police have confirmed that cameras outside ofa Texas church where a fitness instructor was murdered Monday were not functioning at the time of her death, reports CBS DFW."

Seems to me we were looking for some kind of confirmation that the class was officially moved indoors. I found this press release on Midlothian Police FB that says she entered the building carrying some equipment for the class that was moved indoors due to weather. (paraphrased) It is the second paragraph

Sorry, sort of kidding, but I also wince when people think that these pictures have been given "enhanced facial recognition". People are just playing around with lightning/colors/zoom etc, and none of it is "official" or done by professionals, unless I missed something. (In which case I will gladly eat crow.)

I don't think any one claimed to use "enhanced facial recognition". It was only a matter changing the photo to black and white, and as you said playing around. Which has been stated when first posted, if I can do it, and it may not be perfect, then LE can. So, IMO, they've done it and they IMO have a good idea what the perp looks like.

In his interview today, BB said he was corroborating things for PD. Obviously not what was in the warrant. He said he had no knowledge of those details.

Im curious.

If a crime is committed that is a violation of local, state, and federal laws, does the FBI “take over” the investigation?

No. State and local law enforcement agencies are not subordinate to the FBI, and the FBI does not supervise or take over their investigations. Instead, the investigative resources of the FBI and state and local agencies are often pooled in a common effort to investigate and solve the cases. In fact, many task forces composed of FBI agents and state and local officers have been formed to locate fugitives and to address serious threats like terrorism and street violence.

Can I obtain detailed information about a current FBI investigation that I see in the news?

No. Such information is protected from public disclosure, in accordance with current law and Department of Justice and FBI policy. This policy preserves the integrity of the investigation and the privacy of individuals involved in the investigation prior to any public charging for violations of the law. It also serves to protect the rights of people not yet charged with a crime.

What is the Critical Incident Response Group?

The FBI’s Critical Incident Response Group (CIRG) provides rapid assistance to incidents in a crisis. Through CIRG, expert assistance is available in cases involving the abduction or mysterious disappearance of children, crisis management, hostage negotiation, criminal investigative analysis, and special weapons and tactics. CIRG also assists in the assessment, selection, and training of FBI undercover employees.

Feds join murder investigation of Missy Bevers, Texas fitness instructor
April 21, 2016
The murder of Missy Bevers, a popular fitness instructor and mom of three in Texas, is now being investigated by federal agents as well as local police. Surveillance video shows a suspect in police SWAT gear inside the church where the victim was killed. NBC’s Kerry Sanders reports for TODAY. http://www.today.com/video/feds-joi...-bevers-texas-fitness-instructor-670661699846

So far, police said Bevers' husband, Brandon, who spoke publicly with the media for more than 20 minutes Tuesday, has been cooperating with detectives in the investigation, though Johnson wouldn't reveal any particulars. Investigators said Brandon Bevers' story that he was on a fishing trip in Biloxi, Mississippi when his wife was killed checks out, police said.

That article actually predates LE's last press conference when they said he wasn't cleared. That article is from the 20th and doesn't name the source, but the press conference actually on the record saying he wasn't cleared was on the 22nd.

I like your speculation it's an excellent analogy!

He doesn't want to know. He cannot handle it, yet, from what I gathered from his comments.

OUCH!!! Put in ATF investigate murder and this came:eek: up... MURDER FOR HIRE
https://www.atf.gov/our-history/murder-hire

WHAT WE DO

ATF's responsibilities include the investigation and prevention of federal offenses involving the unlawful use, manufacture, and possession of firearms and explosives; acts of arson and bombings; and illegal trafficking of alcohol and tobacco products. The ATF also regulates, via licensing, the sale, possession, and transportation of firearms, ammunition, and explosives in interstate commerce. Many of ATF's activities are carried out in conjunction with task forces made up of state and local law enforcement officers, such as Project Safe Neighborhoods. ATF operates a unique fire research laboratory in Beltsville, Maryland, where full-scale mock-ups of criminal arson can be reconstructed.

Not surprising if authorities are looking at the murder for hire angle. This case rings all the right bells for that scenario. It's almost parody-like in how closely it follows the script.

Me too!

I also thought yesterday when I read "puncture wounds to head and chest" that the perp wanted her DEAD. As in heart stopped beating, dead. I'm no expert but it just stuck in my mind that way. The intent was to kill her. IMO

I thought hit from the get go. The part i don't understand is why they would attack from the front and not just a surprise hit from behind.

It is also a fact that LE has confirmed that Missy's spouse was out of state when she was killed, so I don't know of what value the statistics are here, whether or not they are obvious to you.

But LEO has not reported that he is or isnt a suspect either.

Does someone have the original still photo? There's something about the stance that is odd. And in this pic it looks like something is strapped to the helmet but when the perp goes through the door and starts hammering glass or drywall there doesn't appear to be anything on the helmet.

First post and somewhat behind because I was just granted access for pictures (takes a long time to get a membership here!) but this post regarding the cameras has me thinking.

Do we know any official info on how long the outside cameras were out?

Also have they released if all cameras were functioning? I know that they say some are motion related, but I was wondering if perhaps the reason LE thinks Missy was targeted is that the suspect took out the camera where her body was found? Maybe he/she did want to take off gear/helmet to make it more personal and strategically took out cameras on his/her exit plan? Possibly hide a stash of clothes etc.

I also want to compliment this forum for its professionalism and the fact that people care about the victims (and families!) I have enjoyed my few days lurking!
Welcome Gwyndolyn!! [emoji3] Great post.

Not a lot of info on the cameras it seems....

I strongly believe he had a headlamp after seeing various shots and angles and even reflections.
