I don't see a face in this last pic? Help

Either do I. I don't see eyes, a nose, or a mouth, You have to have at least one of those to call it a face let alone say it's a man's face.

I just don't see it.

And that's why I dislike this kind of thing. :) But I've harped on this enough for one night.

When I referred to the Alanna Gallagher case upthread, I didn't even realize her hometown, Saginaw, and Midlothian are only about 30 miles apart. Unless Google steered me wrong.

I know this is just a coincidence, but I guess it's worth mentioning that the perp in that case was a deranged stoner teen. (In prison now, thank Jebus. I think he escaped death penalty.)

I tried to capture a photo of the face when the killer is walking away from the door that he/she was trying to pry or whatever. It's not real clear but maybe someone else can work with it. View attachment 93818

I am a little disoriented...I can't tell what are the eyes, mouth, nose, etc. Can you tell?

  • #546
I thought it was the mouth but I'm quite sleepy so I may be way off... LOL

At this point in the investigation-IF LE finds/arrests/identifies a killer-will there be anything more than circumstantial evidence?

I don't know. There are 256 Counties in Texas. Some records are open and accessible. Some not. Wish I had a better answer for you.

I'll look tomorrow & see what I can find. Thanks for the idea! I added the meme below for explanation ;)

I'm off to bed :offtobed:

Just watched this evening's Nancy Grace show, and noticed the reward for information leading to the arrest of Missy's killer, is still $10,000. Shouldn't this have been increased, if they still needed info? Perhaps LE doesn't feel the need to up the reward? Money gets people talking....so I'm thinking they might have their man/woman, and are spending time, crossing t's and dotting i's. Just a thought.

Also, noticing photos of Missy's family , show during the broadcast, it is shocking, to see how BB has lost weight over the past few years.

IMHO

ORIGINAL POST
Has it occurred to anyone else that the reason this investigation is taking longer than some of us might have expected is because they are investigating a 3-way conspiracy?

Namely, an out of town murderer, his/her getaway driver and the person who hired them.

I understand some are not as impatient as others.

But it is not unreasonable to have expected/hoped for/prayed for an arrest -- or reports about a possible POI -- by now.

There was an arrest in less than two weeks in this 2012 case vs. 16 days so far for Bevers murder.

"Las Vegas fireman 'hired longtime friend as hitman to kill wife' in brutal hammer attack"
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...nd-hitman-kill-wife-brutal-hammer-attack.html

I could have done a better job of emphasizing my main point -- this case may be more complicated than many of us originally thought.

Cheers.

R.I.P. Missy Bevers.

I hope and pray for a swift arrest and conviction of the killer or killers of Missy. I just don't expect it to happen this quick. JMO

I hope they have some sort of DNA or phone records linking to the killer but that may not be possible.

Since this killing happened in a Christian church, it seems like a legitimate avenue to consider -- only ONE of many avenues, of course.

Bingo.

And isn't everybody saying the perp must have been a member of the church to know his way around so much? Weren't people considering the possibility that one of the church members was so incensed over the exercise classes that it may have been the motive? Those scriptures lend credence to the theory.

I see a head lamp. Under that, close set eyes big cheeks and flattish nose. Mouth covered by something black or dark colored.

First pic I've seen that looks definitively male and could even be African American.

No, not if LE has even a tiny piece of DNA. No such thing as a perfect crime. jmo

I doubt that we will see anything other than circumstantial evidence. I doubt there's an eyewitness out there who will testify and LE has said that they don't have the killing on video.

I'm fine with circumstantial evidence. It's usually better than eye witness testimony and juries love scientific forensic evidence like DNA which is circumstantial evidence. JMO

So you're saying Christians might be an unstable group who are opposed to women seeking physical fitness then? Ironic, since as you said, it was a Christian church who opened up their doors to them to allow the usage of their facilities for the class.

Sorry, but that doesn't make any sense.

It only takes ONE Eric Rudolph-style violent lunatic. And that was EXACTLY the theory bandied about on here by more than one person - that the CofC is very staunch and someone may have murdered Missy b/c they hated the idea that the church was being opened up to such an activity.
