I've been watching the second video over and over. I sure wish someone would make a gif out of it. The perp definitely has a hitch in his/her step. Almost looks drunk. To see it best, I am focusing my eyes on the POLICE on the back of the jacket and watching the body and leg movements with my peripheral vision. Doing it this way, repeated over and over (not unlike wildebeest's icon), I can start to recognize the patterns in the gait.

Does anyone think that the perp has high tailed it out of the local area? Is this a perp who is showing up at the vigil or possibly attending the funeral? If he/she is a hired hit person than probably not?? I am envisioning him/her fleeing the crime scene and hitting the road on a motorcycle.

As well-planned as this mission appears to be, I am sure the perp isn't taking any chances. On the other hand, he/she/it may get cocky, like Eric Williams did.

Is it possible perp stepped in some of the busted glass , drug it around on the shoes and is trying to knock/ scrape it off while walking? I just thought of that when you say ' almost stumbles'. Each step may have been crunchy and making noise. Extreme speculation**

Not a bad possibility, actually. Or they could have hurt themselves during the break-in process. Or they might be intoxicated.

I think it's only fair that when this suspect is caught and proven to be the one, then they should have to strip naked and walk around the church halls again on camera. What do they really look like in reality? We deserve that after watching the video clip a hundred times.

I agree. I haven't thought he/she was heavy. I see a fit, muscular body. Not bulky muscles but long and lean. I think this is a physically strong perp and also that he/she is taller than we have speculated. I don't see the fat lady that has been alluded to.

Now you are making me rethink my theory.

Ah, injured breaking in sounds good too. There was a time when I thought drunk/ high people were not able to pull off really sneaky crimes but after a few years on WS , I have come to realize not only can they, but they often are much better at it than sober people.

If he's a professional, he should have left the area, but if he isn't, he could show up at the funeral. Perps do this quite often.

IMHO

I keep thinking about the nerve it would take to break into a church to kill someone, and to be so calm. I would think the perp would be nervous and stick by a window to watch for the victim's arrival. I just can not connect with that behavior. Personally, I would expect some very bad karma if I planned to do evil inside a church.
Of course I believe this perp is quite insane...and I am trying to understand an insane person which is impossible.

What would the motive/reasoning behind doing it inside the church be? She/he could have ambushed Missy as she was unloading her car. Breaking into the church ads a lot more risk and effort.

Injured while breaking in! That makes so much sense.

If the perp knew or was close to Missy they will most likely show up. Don't want to look suspicious by not showing up. IMO

Curtis Wayne Wright was at Teresa Sievers' funeral.

Wouldn't be surprised if there was not a good sized police presence at the funeral watching every move of some or all present

I see a strut, almost a swagger. The kind of confident walk that only a high powered weapon can give, but jmo

Read a lot and post very little. I thought I heard on the news tonight that the husband had gone in early this afternoon to make arrangements to get her truck and that as of 6 he was still there. Any reason why he would still be there that long?

So much of the video makes so little sense to me. I really don't quite understand what the perp is looking for and why he/she is opening up doors. If he was there to do the killing only why not walk in and get "set" per say. I guess it is possible he was breaking in to look for something to steal but why the dress?

To me it looks like the sole/heel of the right boot has come detached. Kind of resembles a flip flop if that makes sense.
Maybe they are cheap boots and that one was falling apart.

When I was reading the FB page for the Midlothian PD I saw a post someone put on there prior to anyone knowing what was going on. The man asked "what is going on at the big church BY THE AIRPORT? Supposedly BB had a 5 and 1/2 hour delay on his flight. Do we know if he was flying out if that airport? If so my imagination could go in all sorts of new directions

This person could've planned a trip out of the area soon after the murder. If they're married it might have required a pre-planned trip planning, something that'd appear normal. However, IMO, I keep imagining it's someone in the local area with a mean grudge who is enjoying the ruckus they caused. They might feel they took the right precautions of not being recognized and can now afford to pretend cry right beside the mourners.

I question if they knew they'd probably be on camera in those hallways and were smart enough to fake that gait. At first this suspect seemed outrageous and dumb, but they did take the time to think this through enough to still not be arrested.

See, this person is off balance for some reason. Prosthesis? If so, they aren't very natural with it. Maybe because of the prosthesis with the new boots? IDK.

Did the person take a little "liquid courage" before the hit? He/she sure looks drunk to me.

I think it has something to do with the shoes being too big. My husband wears a size 10 shoe, I wear a size 7. If I need to run out the door quickly I have been known to throw his crocs on. Believe me thats how I walk in his shoes trying to keep them on my feet. Truthfully I go back and forth in my head between the shoes being to big and a prosthesis.
