I'm guessing that no news is maybe good news....that they are onto someone and need to shore up evidence to take it to DA???

But the classes were not held in the church. They were held at the church, but indoors.

That aside, it seems that the first step for someone unhappy about that would be to complain to the pastor, not dress up in riot gear and lie in wait to kill the instructor.

I wasn't imply in the sanctuary, I was stating in the church facility rooms. Some conservative ppl still view the whole church as being spiritual and not a place for non religious groups. Ppl can take up the matter with the Pastor but maybe they were not satisfied with the decision. No one ever knows what is going on in another persons mind.

I would love to know how many cops were on patrol that night and where at and who did they drive by at 3:40 am or so.

Hopefully they could remember passing a car that was near the area. Idk

I know you weren't implying that it was in the church sanctuary. I didn't take it that way.

And now I'm confused as well. I thought the class was held outdoors not under the awning usually, but under the awning (whatever that is) if it was raining. But then I heard it was going to be moved indoors that day due to rain. So I don't know.

In the case of a disgruntled parishioner though, I would think the police would have been tipped right away about someone who complained about the classes being held there, and that person would have been easily identified.

Could someone have maybe mentioned to MB that she should have the class inside (weather, fear about time of day, better lighting) and that is why she moved it inside? That would be interesting, huh? JMO

Link doesn't work. I haven't heard of sign of struggle either!

ETA- link worked once I quoted your post. Thank you!

In a press conference Monday, Midlothian Police Chief Carl Smith told reporters the suspect triggered the church's motion-activated cameras, and can be seen in the footage wearing a helmet, shin guards, gloves, a tactical vest and a shirt with the word "POLICE" emblazoned across the back.

A police spokesman says officers arrived at the church to find broken glass and other signs of a struggle between Bevers and her alleged assailant.

......................................

The mother of three was found dead “with obvious trauma,” Star-Telegram media partner WFAA reported.

......................................................

EMS workers noted broken glass and other signs of a struggle near Bevers' body.

She could have been lured inside

Who would go in a church that early ALONE, in the dark, to check out something weird??? Not me!! :/. And I'm assuming most women wouldn't. We would climb back in our car and lock the doors and call someone. So.....if she was lured....could she have KNOWN the voice that called out to her and gone inside because she knew that person and knew/thought it was safe???

Also, alone setting up and a cop shows and says "someone called something in". I would STILL be freaked out by that, especially with the face mask on!!

But....what if car sitting in lot when she got there was a cop car or looked like one??? More believable if she "ran into him/her" inside. But still, with a face shield on??!!

And it looks like she had started unloading. That goes back to if she was lured inside and how that person accomplished that....

I believe I know who is behind this now - I feel 100 percent solid. IMO if the murderer were a hired hitman, he banged around the church with that hammer as crime scene staging. My gut knows who is behind this. My reasons? The police asst. chief press conf' which had ANOTHER OFFICER OFF TO THE RIGHT THE ENTIRE TIME I HOPE YOU ALL NOTICED & WATCHED THAT MAN..... THE BOTH OF THEM !! IMO the video clips I saw of Mother in Law Bevers & Sis in Law Bevers were VERY helpful. Is it now true that the Bever Sis in law said she wanted the killer dead ?

I noticed the other officer and paid attention to him but all he did was stand there lol. What am I missing?

Wow, I just cannot imagine finding someone deceased and being calm enough to call that person's spouse to break the news.

This is very, very weird.

Missy's mother in law has issued a letter to the murderer:

http://www.nbcdfw.com/news/local/Murdered-Midlothian-Fitness-Coach--376858281.html

"Hundreds gathered at the Cowboy Church to pay their respects to Missy Bevers, 45, who died Monday."

"A letter to the Murder of Missy Bevers:
Do you even realize what you have done to her daughters, husband, our whole family? Was it really worth it? Why did you think this was so necessary?
You know who you are! Your husband/wife and family members know who you are. They know your "special" walk. Right now, they are as guilty as you are, by not coming forward! I honestly pray you do not have children. My granddaughters at least have the knowledge, their mom was a kindhearted, loving, caring person. You have now ruined your children's life, along with your family's life by doing this senseless act. We can at least visit Missy at her grave site, even though we have the comfort of knowing Missy is already in heaven. Your children will get to visit you in prison, forever reminded of your crazy, senseless act. What a legacy you have doled out to your family! I will be praying for all of them.
I truly feel worse for your family, than mine. Please, come forward!! Give yourself peace, give our family peace. Give some honor back to your family!
God will forgive you!
We will forgive you, because we know and you know, that is what Jesus has commanded us to do.
Marsha Tucker"

There have been no new developments since yesterday's presser.

You've got time to kill: go ahead and watch this video. It explains everything.

I plan to knit a tin-foil porte crotchie tutu to wear during the viewing of this insightful video.
