You know what would be helpful. That shot where the perp is looking at the camera I think it was from the first video. You can see their eyes and the bridge of their nose very well. It would be great if we could have a shot of that enhanced.

I found this helpful to me too. This is a link to the top 3 players at the MPD. The man looking on from the side yesterday is the 3rd down in the list. They all have a lot of experience and education. I am hoping they will not let go until the have this sicko! JMO.

IMO that girl just looked quite clearly like someone mentally ill having a psychosis sort of episode - IMO it did not look at all like any real person was following her or anything like that (the 4 plus min. video is at youtube). Oh I am a local but did not know missy however, I have talked to LE and I got a very similar impression that they know who and possibly who but are in need of a last dot before arresting the perp(s). You are very correct, there is a lot of reading between the lines in this case I feel like, they are wanting us to read more into what they are not saying as opposed to what they are. Imo

I have two thoughts. A ) I think when a presser is given in these types of case, the PD designates the most ' poker faced' member of the department for this very reason. That's just a guess but I'm sure some are better than others at keeping it together and not getting flustered by the questions, etc. B ) I almost never watch videos in cases because I have drawn at least 100 wrong conclusions by hearing how the family, LEO's or witnesses talk and watching their mannerisms. Unless you know that chief or spouse or neighbor in real life, how can you ( we all, public) know if they are looking normal or guilty, etc? I have anxiety, some ocd and maybe a couple of other of the ' d's and I can tell you if I was being interviewed on the news about the price of gasoline, WSer's would have me reported for a crime because I am awkward, darty eyed, fidgeting, paranoid, nervous etc. Use caution when drawing conclusions from the body language of strangers. Remember a straight up sociopath can lie to your face and you'll believe them all day long. My :twocents:

I've tried to read much of all of this thread and most of the last two, plus follow along in the media before chiming in on here...but please forgive it anything I add is going over previously covered stuff. Plus, this is just my speculations and musings on a few points.

-Watching the videos, I was stuck by the immediate thought that this person in SWAT gear was playing a role, in an outfit they were unaccustomed to. There is the fumbling to put a piece of equipment back at one point that really made it seem that all the gear was not familiar to the wearer/user. The body language, the almost strut-like walk, the patting of the wall, the slow deliberate moves...to me it felt like someone doing their best impression of LE/security personal. Like their movements were deliberate and perhaps informed by watching how cops are portrayed in crime dramas or on reality TV. It felt like they were psych-ing themselves to be that person, have that authority, own that space.
Question: Does anybody know if the order that the video clips - that appear in the lastest media offering of 2 and a half minutes of disjointed snippets - are these in actual chronological order? And does the window smashing part happen before or after Missy is recorded as arriving at the scene?

-The Creekside Church doesn't seem to be Missy's church and maybe the regular Creekside congregation and staff here are not familiar with her and her 'rainy-day' arrangement to use the space. The church's bulletin (most recent here: http://www.creeksidecc.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/Creekside-Bulletin-04-10-16.pdf.) lists their finances and it's usually over $10,000 coming in each week. Is it possible that a large amount of cash could be on the premises after a busy Sunday?

-Camp Gladiator seems to be quite a high-pressure gig, with an almost 'pyramid-selling' company structure. Employees, current and past, talk about competition, pressure, aggressive sales techniques etc on company review sites such as 'Glassdoor'. Furthermore, many TX branches of Camp Gladiator have collected often scathing reviews from clients mentioning scams, credit card fraud, fine-print traps on yelp and BBB etc. All hearsay, but there is online evidence of a lot of extreme anger and exasperation with this company as well as suggestions that "contractor trainers" are in direct competition with each other for "sign-ups" in overlapping turfs.

Following this thinking, a list of alternate perps...other than the usual suspects
-a nosey 'self-proclaimed' protector of the church doing his 'rounds' comes across Missy -an unexpected person- and thought her be an intruder at 4:30am and they went into 'fight or flight' mode.
-someone church-affiliated (with keys/access) disguised and intending to steal /vandalize and then stage a cover-up but is surprised by Missy.
-a CG "contractor trainer" working the same turf as Missy and unable to complete with her ambition, dedication, and success. As a result his/her own lack of sign-ups are resulting in financial pain, rejection and embarrassment...
And a usual (likely) suspect:
-someone known to Missy, prepares an ambush, pre-stages a break in, waits. Missy enters, SWAT person shouts "Ma'am, we have a situation! There's been a break-in. Get down, on the floor. Now!" Leaving Missy in a very vunerable position and an easy target for a swift and fatal blow to the head. The killer could even further stage it to look like she had slipped and hit her head so that, to the first witnesses, there is an appearance of an accident and the alarm for a POI is not raised until later.

6. One puzzle to my mind is WHY did this man dress up like a fake ridiculous SWAT cop, vs. just wearing any-old Halloween costume, OR if he wanted to be disguised in case anybody happened to drive by there at 0330am, I'd think he'd disguise himself either to look like a real cop (IMO he looks completely fake, as if the disguise is SOLEY for the video cameras) OR ELSE he'd wear casual sorts of Sunday clothes, EG conservative plaid flannel shirt, so that anyone driving by would thing he was just an early bird church-enthusiast-elder-with-a-key who was there at 0330am cuz' he was an early bird & he was fixing coffee & setting out materials EG for a 6am Alc Anon group or somethin'. ALL I CAN GUESS would be that this killer, FOR SOME GOOFY REASON which is unrelated to him committing this murder, had access to the fake SWAT outfit. MEEBEE the killer, or killer's real-life bro', got all excited about owning that fake SWAT outfit, so the killer just happened to use it for this murder.

I took the gear - namely things like knee and elbow pads - as them being there for a fight. Many items worn served self-protection purposes that didn't help in disguise and could also impede mobility. If they wanted to get away, I've not heard anything reported that would have stopped them from getting away with little or minimal fight and Missy isn't being described as someone who would voluntarily take on an armed and armored perp.

Hearing about the husband's extended interview about how his wife wouldn't have shown up if she saw a car there already, which if that's an accurate assessment of her by the husband, that would further lead me to believe the vehicle was parked on the opposite side of the main entrance where it would have been out of view. However, if she went in and the entrance doors were already propped open plus the Dutch door was open, I wonder if the husband's assessment was correct or if she was lured somehow by the perp.

Oh I totally agree, and I believe they (LE) knows who it is. However if they really want the publics help, I would think it would helpful to release that cleaned up picture. Lots of us locals have a good idea as to key players and could possibly assist with the final dot. There are many motives from several angles but without having a tiny more info, especially since a (LE) could be the perp or be related to the perp or assisted the perp lots of people are scared to come forward out of fear and that is NOT just my opinion.

I only meant that we analyzed the video up and down every which way we could and still it did not provide ' answers' or at least in my opinion. The end result was shocking and unexpected. I'm just thinking that after hours of discussion on this perp in the church, we still know nothing except they dressed in Swat gear.

Something that keeps sticking out to me was in her FB post (which has since been removed) she said "we" will see you tomorrow. Was she expecting another Trainer to be there? If so, if she found the doors open, she may have seen his or her car and the open doors because she knew they were meeting her there?

I've been wondering about that too about how many CG trainers were operating in the area. With the new locations mentioned by CG Midlothian, it would have been impossible for Missy to be at all the locations at all the times given. The 'owner' Kevin Locks sometimes is there, but only like on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

IMO the only thing that was accomplished by the perp was MBs murder. They had nothing to put things in if she/he intended to rob the church and no vehicle close by for a quick get away. That is why, in my mind, this has to be a targeted hit. I think this person had been thinking of killing MB for sometime. When the inside CG was announced on MBs FB page( no longer there BTW) the perp saw their chance and sprang into action. JMO

i have been thinking hard on the ATF involvement here. You know the Secret Service has a few jobs more than protecting the president. They also are the ones who come if there is anything to do with counterfeit money, no matter how small an amount. Secret Service is the " LE" so to speak who deals with counterfeiting , which is weird if you ask me, but it is. So could the ATF involvement be regarding ' impersonating an officer' ? I wonder if that falls under their umbrella of what they are responsible for investigating. Would this be a true case of impersonating an officer? Just dressing like one may not be enough because you could be in a play or halloween or etc. But if you say to someone " I am LEO and you need to show me your DL '' you have now committed a crime. Again just wondering out loud.

So you think the camper lied to LE when they told LE they waited outside, but were really in their car? Why would someone lie about that? I do think the camper may be lying, but I don't know why someone would lie about being in their car drinking a coffee, especially when it can be verified by the others showing up whether this person was outside or not. It is the Police spokesman who said expressly said the camper was outside for 'a while.' Lying to police is prosecutable offense, so it would really draw my attention as to why they are lying.

Posture, stance, and walk. I used to work security at Target, and many of the hidden cameras were awful. Hardly any detail at all. However, I could spot blurry pictures of people's back by their walk easily enough. Change that, and you're a new person. No props required.
Altered stance and walk are difficult to maintain without some kind of aid, which is one reason why they're so useful in recognizing people. A few pebbles (or similar irritants) strategically placed in your shoes can help. Put them toward the front, and they'll encourage a more heavy-footed, stomping kind of walk. Under the heels, they'll encourage you to walk more on the balls of your feet. It'll be uncomfortable, but it will help you avoid slipping into your normal patterns.

Is this Church part of a mega group? My knowledge of religion, organized or otherwise, is scant... is there some biblical significance of "Creekside" that would suggest a reason, other than affiliation, that so many churches use this name?

No lol. It is not affiliated with any other church. It is literally next to a creek.
