Curious minds would like to know if his SI is jealous of beautiful and athletic trainers and waddles like a fat penguin?

Really! But actually, since they now have revealed how many weapons were actually taken, if there's a connection it could be just about anyone who may have purchased a gun from him. It sounds like the search of his mobile home was conducted... Today?

It's an intriguing theory, but it raises a few questions, still. First, do we know that he actually did break every door window of the unlocked rooms? We are only privy to about 2-minutes of videotaped surveillance.

Secondly, why would he bother fussing with the pry tool at all on interior doors? If Missy were running to hide from him, she wouldn't stop to try to pry open a locked closet door with her fingernails--she'd make for an exit, more than one which was already pried or broken open. Either that or, if desperate enough, break through an exterior window (like our perp seems to have done).

Sorry, I can't remember who the poster was in thread #2 who noticed this "methodic" exploration of rooms. But they had also noted that this "ally" area appeared to be filmed on the side that Missy entered. He also observed almost all of the video shared with the public is from this "ally" area. This is where the killer planned to get her. But, we haven't been privy to the other 28 minutes, possibly because this is the only region the activity took place?

Friendly Reminder....

Please don't insinuate Missy's husband is a POI/Suspect. No one has been named.

No guessing games. If you can't post then don't. If you can, just say it as long as it's within TOS guidelines. But remember, the family is off limits except for what's been mentioned in MSM.

Thank you!

I have been trying to find a list of CG trainers in the Midlothian area.
Has anyone come across anything like that?

I know you're still catching up, but what do you make of LE saying today that Missy was targeted and this wasn't a burglary gone wrong scenario?

You aren't asking me, but IMO it all depends exactly who this "un-named" source exactly is- are they very close to this investigation and have they seen all sorts of unreleased evidence that the general public is not privy to? There's been a noted uptick in media using anonymous sources without having that source's info vetted or verified. Until there's a similar official statement from investigators, I'm personally not going to completely rule out the possibility she wasn't a target. (I've seen this happen in so many cases on these boards where incorrect information was leaked).

Is there a setting to check for quoting more than one comment in a reply? My replies now only quote whomever I am immediately replying to unless I manually add the other quote(s) - which can make reply seem out of context. Ugh

I apologize for not reading every single page. But I wanted to say that someone in my family has a gait like the person in the video. He has never had an injury, he just has unusual turnout--duck feet. He kind of kicks his foot out in front like that. It didn't stop him from running track in high school.

Someone in my family as well--it didn't stop him from sports, either, though he has fairly flat feet.

I must be tired. I'm just not getting how some bad cop is automatically related to this case? Crimes are committed all over the place by cops and non-cops. Just because this perp was wearing a fake LE 'getup'...(which to me, was a mish mash of sports equipment and fake lettering)--doesn't mean it's tied to this case.

Please, someone 'splain to me why this is such an "AHA" moment. TIA!

I think the information about an arrest for stolen guns could be important to this murder case IF there was a weapon* involved (NOT because of quasi-Swat garb). To this point, they haven't stated COD, right? I don't know that it's an "aha" moment but it could have potential.

*specifically a gun :)

You can find it on their Facebook page, I'm sure. There are a few of them.

I just saw Sparkys comment and had to self delete. Sorry.

No, but a million comments ago, someone had posted that there was a session in the same town, starting at the same time as Missy's camp. One person had an idea that the killer could have gone to that workout to have an alibi...but would have a cellphone gap between 3am and 5am. Hmmmm.

Unfortunately, it's something you learn with rascally teenagers. They think it's okay to "hang out" in an abandoned building, when in reality, it's burglary.

That doesn't sound like burglary to me. Unless "hanging out" is a crime.

Burglary: Definition and Background

Burglary is typically defined as the unlawful entry into almost any structure (not just a home or business) with the intent to commit any crime inside (not just theft/larceny). No physical breaking and entering is required; the offender may simply trespass through an open door. Unlike robbery, which involves use of force or fear to obtain another person's property, there is usually no victim present during a burglary.

I am not sayin crooked cop in on this other than isn't it strange the amount of Fed agencies involved after guns that were supposed to be destroyed have turned up not destroyed. He is in jail. But you can bet your boots if one of those guns was used in this or maybe some other gear, this is a nightmare for LE. It is not their fault but those guns were supposed to be gone. This would open up a story as big as Texas and they know it. As to who killed her remains to be seen and may not be tied into this other than the gun etc. But this is big IMO.
I agree, and IF it is tied into this case it could explain for real the involvement of ATF and the Marshals . jmo Steroids too ?

Her fb friend list is so large and it is hard to tell who the trainers are. I went to the CG website but could not find a list.

But he made these statements within moments of each other, at a press conference to reporters. He wants to have it both ways. He wants to say that the schedule was posted on FB, and therefore the attack could have been perpetrated by anyone. But he also doesn't want us to think that it was targeted and planned, because then he would become a natural POI. Thoughts?

You don't trust him. Point made. Please drop it here because until we have concrete reason to suspect him (LE indicates he is a POI, tells us he is not cooperating, etc..) he is considered a victim, according to Websleuths' policies.

Thanks.

I remember that post. Does anyone know who the trainer was at that session?

<modsnip>

We're a victim-friendly site. We don't sleuth family or others who haven't been named POI by LE.

We speculate and theorize, but within the guidelines of the site.

You'll be glad for those guidelines, imo. We go off on wild speculations sometimes, though - that is true.

Welcome, btw. Glad to have new people join in.

If the killer went to this other camp after killing Missy how could that be considered an alibi?

  • #519
Possibly. But why would an actual COP want to look precisely like a COP when he's committing a horrific crime?

This cop could not have done it. He was (is) sitting in jail since April 15.

The assumption was she was killed as soon as she went into the building, leaving plenty of time to get to the other workout by 5am.
