IF there was a gun and one of the first emergency callers said something about this gun or gun wounds AND because of that we -the public- aren't allowed to listen to the call - IF, then I would ask myself: why did the perp/s use both a gun and a tool?? Seems even more mentally ill, seems like a "massacre", all lasting only 15 minutes in a church in morning gray. I don't look horror movies (I hate films like that) but I imagine: this is the stuff out of horror movies.

Each reason (anger - jealousy - revenge -?) seems to be too ridiculous for murder someone in this manner (of course also too ridiculous for murder at all).

Whether a gun was used, or not, is NOT known to us. So, amid all the speculation about what the lack of a firearm might mean, there's that reality.

I really wish there would be a break in this case or at least a new update from MPD. Feel so sad for Missys family going through their first Thanksgiving and Christmas without her. It makes me mad that this killer is still free. Justice for Missy please Lord let it come soon!

This case still reminds me of the Dan Markel case in Florida where it seemed like a cold case for around 18 months. However, LE was busy tying up all the pieces and putting them together to make the first arrests. They are still working on trying to tie in the two suspected people who hired the hitmen and it is well over two years.

Let's hope that LE has a lot of information and they are trying to make the connections fit. Personally, I think BB made an alibi for himself too deep and went too far in establishing it. This has to have caught LE's attention. There is a reason he did this. . . We cannot throw away what is so evident and makes one question all the why's to his actions.

I agree with the Dan Markel case comparison for many reasons.

Agreed. There were early news reports which mentioned that a gun was used, but that information was quickly removed from both the headline and the article. Additionally, a canine trained to sniff for bombs and gun powder residue was brought in CCoC the Wednesday after MB's death.

I think he said four as well, but maybe it was a mistake? I know that seems weird, but with all of the trauma/drama going on, BB did say that in an interview.

BB can be heard saying that in an interview.

JMO, but what they're not saying is just as important if not more than what they have said. They're not telling public to be on alert for murderer on prowl....and they're not releasing certain info for a reason. All JMO, BUT if they got all data/DNA back and really had no clue, that'd be completely unrealistic. They've said enough to get people to stop hounding IMO. i hope an arrest comes soon..

Should that be Tucker, his mother's last name?

It must be a typo....

It's not unheard of for divorced mothers to use a collective family name when they re-marry. Usually dependant on the relationship with the ex partner. From that background link though, it appears BB was known by the Bevers' name going through school.

Something's niggling at me about his use of the Tucker name (business related, taxes?) from a local or even a verified. I'm sure it came up somewhere in the first few weeks, maybe someone else will recall more.

Yes, BB’s mom remarried and her last name is Tucker. What I’ve gleaned from info I’ve read is that the step-father Tucker owns a company for which BB works. Maybe BB uses Tucker for business purposes to show he’s part of that family? I think Tocker is a typo as well.

That's right. What I'm saying is, I'm pretty sure someone came on here who knew BB had used the name Tucker at a certain time, or the reason for using it. I can't remember atm. It may actually have been on FB, I'll have a scout around on there later to see if I can find anything.

and we know cops always hold back evidence known only to the killer so that when they mention it they have that as proof this person is indeed guilty. hint hint

Agree. Rumor mill said MT RB married young and weren't married too long iirc. MT remarried PT and BB used the Tucker last name during his childhood years and at some point went back to Bevers name. IMO

O/T

I just have read a true crime story (news): Pastor Love, married, had a sex relationship with a married woman over 10 years. One day it was planned by the love couple to shoot the husband of the Mrs. X, collect his life insurance, then break the neck of pastor's wife (afterwards fake a car accident) and also collect the life insurance and have a nice life in the future. Pastor did so namely shooting the husband - dead, successful. But then something went wrong because the new widow asked for her dead husband's life insurance too early (1 day after killing) and also threw away a treacherous letter into her bureau paper basket which police unfortunately found and puzzled together to a whole. Breaking pastor's wife's neck didn't happen because police caught pastor Love before (and his lovely mistress).

Can you believe it is possible?!

This is the girls' first Thanksgiving with out their mom. How terribly sad they must feel. Praying for speedy closure.

Also BB's first without his wife. I hope he's getting lots of support from family members in making the holidays as nice for the kids as possible. May they all find comfort, strength and hope this holiday season.

Im not being sarcastic so please don't take this the wrong way. But your post jolted me, because that literally didn't even occur to me.

Question.

How many cops showed up after getting the 5:10 call from the campers. And how many usually are on shift at that time?

So my question is; Did any cop just show up early to work and went straight to the scene.

Because if 10 cops patrol at night. But 11 show up to the scene; Then I would check the 1 that acted like they decided to start Early. Especially if they take their cars home or drive personal unmarked police cars. Jmo

That early cop would not have shown up in tactical gear though, unless everyone was on assignment and then everyone would have shown up in tactical uniforms. The officers on scene looked like wearing traditional street uniforms. Just my opinion. Of course s(he) could have changed into regular attire, that's possible.

I am positive, that they know by now, if this was a rogue cop or not. Look at the details we could make out in our somewhat "better" editing programs. How much more can they bring out with their state of the art software. Just saying.
