Many of us teach our children to trust police, peace officers, Federal Agents and whatever the name in whatever area. Certainly most of these service/protection-type persons are truly trying to do a good job to make things better for the people they are paid to serve and protect.
SMH. And now this.
The MSM article above (Texas police officer arrested, charged with 27 counts of child sexual assault, indecency) mentions "continuous sexual abuse of a child under the age of 14 as far back as 2014...11 counts of indecency with a child and 15 counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child." Some of this allegedly occurred before the man joined the El Paso PD.
Now he is out on bond. I hope the bond amount is a whopper, BTW.

And the victims and their futures, their thoughts about trust. The parents and care-givers -- where do they go from here -- blame, dealing with their children, and probable red-hot anger for what was allegedly done to their children, and other thoughts I simply cannot imagine. This horror will be a tuff one for all involved.
