Montgomery County Sheriff's Office is investigating an apparent murder-suicide after two bodies, a man and a woman, were discovered inside a home that sits on a quiet cul-de-sac in The Woodlands. Sheriff's deputies believe the man shot the woman before turning the gun on himself. Investigators say a 911 call was made from someone inside the home and they believe it was made before the shooting happened.

In the driveway sat a new luxury vehicle with the dealer's tags still attached. Investigators would not say if they are even looking for a suspect.

This is sad.....unfortunately murder-suicides are a common occurrence anymore. I'll never understand it.

Police say someone made an anonymous call to 911 around 3 p.m. The caller told the dispatcher they would find two people dead inside the home and then hung up, according to police.

This has been happening a lot in that area lately. 3 teens commited suicide last year in this community. Many people there work for the oil and gas industry, which has had many layoffs this past year. Stress and mental illness are very common in upper income areas. It's just well hidden.
