A few things
530 am is not normally the time you wake up and go kill your wife
He would know he'd be the first suspect . How would he drag the 200 pound lady into the woods.

Was there any money to be had here. Who gets her estate if husband is in jail

I wouldn't be too quick to size this husband up for a gurney

Natural causes are not that unlikely .

Has anyone confirmed the 5:30 AM timeframe or is that just what time the authorities were told?

Not adding up...I'm doubting natural causes.

Maybe the bike broke down after he used it to transport her body into the woods.

that's a thought. I think it has been reported he was violent. Im sure the cops will look him over with a fine tooth comb. If he has a girlfriend and had been having issues he may find himself in hot water. We just have to wait and see. I will note that I noticed he looked like he was in much better physical shape than she was. I do not know why she would insist on going out in the woods when it is so bloody hot and humid down there this time of year. There are alligators, snakes, mosquitoes the size of 747's . I would have waited at the truck and why could he not find her after looking 8 hours? The brother said they found her right away when the husband finally told where she was. If that is true he is in a hole bunch of trouble. Just saying...

I don't know if anyone is still following this thread, but autopsy results released earlier this year showed she died from meth toxicity. She also had diabetes and other underlying health issues that could have been a factor. But foul play was ruled out. Death of woman found in national forest ruled accidental

still does not make much sense. Husband is sticking to his story.

you are right .. it's very confusing what ended up being the cause of death .. would the hubby know she was a meth user? Was it a hidden habit?? Why go to the woods high on meth when you already have health issues (I know, drug use and addiction doesn't make any sense, but just throwing out thoughts) .. and it says she was found right off the trail?? Unless hubby was high on meth himself, that might explain the 8 hour "search"?? Regardless, it's a sad story .. RIP Theresa
