Unfound Live will "revisit" the Tom Brown case on Friday July 2 .... I think at 8 PM CDT. Denzel indicated that he will have some additional commentary but I did not get the impression that he necessarily had any new information.
Here's what he posted:

Here will be the format for tomorrow's episode in which Unfound re-visits the disappearance and death of Tom Brown:

Klein Investigations has updated their fb page regarding the grand jury delays:

Statement By President and Lead Investigator Philip R. Klein: The Thomas Brown Case

As you know, and as has been publicly stated, we the Private Security Investigators at Klein Investigations and Consulting have been told that there will be a SPECIAL Grand Jury convened regarding the death of Thomas Brown. Due to CV19 and now other "unknown" issue(s), the dates have been pushed back six times.

We have come to understand that there is now another delay in bringing a Grand Jury together. The longer the case is delayed, the longer that
justice cannot be served. We, the Private Security Investigators, are extremely concerned and we now ask you, the citizens of Hemphill County, Texas, as well as all of the voters and citizens of District 31 in North Texas, to help us and the family to air your concerns on why a Grand Jury has not been convened to hear testimony in the case. As well, why it has now been delayed multiple more times.

Tom Brown deserves his time under the eyes of the citizens of North Texas. The true facts, not the ones made up by some in Hemphill County, need to be examined and exposed. No more secrets and no more rumors. Let's put everyone in the case under oath and see who lies and who tells the truth. As well as some that say they know.

To contact the Honorable Franklin McDonough you can call the area code 806-669-8035. We ask you to be polite and honorable and simply ask the question - when? We are asking all of you to call that care about Tom and his family. Ask your friends, family, and neighbors. Take 5 minutes and make a simple phone call.

We would also like to say that this in no way, shape or form, reflects on the investigators at the Office of the Attorney General or the current sheriff of Hemphill County. Both teams are honorable, hard-working officers and have done their jobs. To not convene a grand jury would be an outrageous act of dereliction of duty by an elected official. Thus our call for Mr. McDonough to do the right thing for the Meek/Brown family. Put it all on the table - and let the good people of Hemphill County know what really happened on Lake Marvin Road.

So far, our team has been right on target in this case. We have worked over 1,700 hours (man-hours) on this case. We are proud to have done this work without influence or an agenda. We need the public's help to make a statement in honor of Thomas Brown and his family. And on behalf of the nine (9) investigators on our team who are working the case - thank you to the public of Hemphill County.

Thank you for your considerations. Please make the call. Enough is enough.

Philip R. Klein, TPLI-PPO
President

There's a new news article. I've snipped some parts of it for you.

Klein Investigations and Consulting give an update on the Thomas Brown case | KAMR - MyHighPlains.com

According to Klein, there has been another delay in bringing a grand jury together on the Thomas Brown case. He said due to COVID-19 and other “unknown” issues, the dates have been pushed back six times.

“This last week we did hear there was going to be another delay. The delay was not given to us as a reasonable delay. It’s time to get off-center and get working and get moving on this case,” said Klein.

Klein said he believes the evidence will show Brown was also a victim of homicide and not suicide.

“I would be willing to risk my reputation on this. Tom Brown did not commit suicide. He didn’t do it. It’s impossible, there is no way in the timeline for him to do it,” added Klein. “The evidence that we found clearly indicts that he did not kill himself. This is silliness. This has to stop.”

“Here is our bottom line. Our bottom line is, it’s time to quit screwing around with this, it’s time to panel a grand jury, spend some time, spend some money and let’s go through it. Let the chips fall where they may,” said Klein.

We reached out to District Attorney Franklin McDonough and the Attorney General’s office for comment on this story and have not heard back.

What he says makes sense. In fact, based on what I have read about the case over the last four and a half years, I completely agree with what Philip Klein says here.

So who’s going to do what’s right?

Or what’s honorable?

C’mon, it doesn’t take a freakin’ rocket scientist. I’m sorry; if McDonough isn’t going to do it for whatever reason … …, then he’d better let the AG’s staff attorneys know, so that the search for the truth can continue.

Absolutely, you said it well. IF the delays are related to securing additional evidence that is emerging or being processed ..... then, I fully understand. But, if that is not the case, I can think of no other valid reason to continue to delay the Grand Jury proceeding. Only those who have something to lose fear the truth.

Respectfully snipped by me for focus. That’s exactly right.

Let the evidence speak for itself.

T
It is my understanding that Deputy Gregory did not refuse to return to the water treatment area. Penny states in her initial interview with Ed Denzel (at 1:01:32) that Tucker wanted to return to the water treatment location but Tucker did not ask Pyne Gregory to do so because Tucker knew that Gregory's shift would soon be over.

IMO, one of the mysterious coincidences is that the Durango was captured on the Pavilion CCTV at 5:55 am; nearly precisely the time that the search was temporarily halted and Deputy Gregory was ending his shift and delivering Tucker back home. One might tend to consider that the search activities were being monitored to some extent.

Well noted, Outwest! That always gets me scratching my head.

I took it to mean Mr Klein is concealing the true identity of the truck's owner/driver. My opinion. I think I remember a cousin in Tom's family who drove a truck claimed to see Thomas pumping gas at Fronk's and did tell Penny but then recanted story. I think I remember cousin's truck being described as being jacked up or something similar. I'm not implying anything here. I am not even sure about that. We are talking about years of reading updates on Tom's case. I could be completely wrong.

I’m late to reply but I remember Penny discussing this in her 3 hour Unfound interview.

The phone is one of the pieces of the puzzle me questioning comments of the mom. In a interview she is asked about the phone case on Tom’s phone. She was asked if Tom ever removed it and she said no, it was very uncommon for Tom to remove the case. Then later in the recorded meeting DA stated the phone had been planted and then asked the mom if she had the case, which she said “yes, I have always had it.” That was a big surprise for all because she had kept that information to herself so IMO it made me question whether she had the phone from the beginning. Later her and Klein tried to explain that away which directly contradicted earlier statement. I don’t know what happened to Tom and I am not accusing anyone. Just seems to me lots of unanswered questions all around.

Per the Unfound episode, the charger was in Tom's vehicle when it was returned to the family without being processed.
I suspect that Penny and the family went through the vehicle when it was returned looking for any clues and the charger was removed.

If my child went missing, and their vehicle was returned to me the day he went missing without being processed as Tom's was, I would at that precise moment become suspicious no matter who was in charge of the investigation, and would seek outside help which is what Penny did. For that I applaud her instincts as time has shown them to be accurate.

This charger was unique in that it recharged the cell phone constantly.
If the individual that took the cell phone knew the significance of the charger, I doubt it would of been left behind.
This fact alone gives insight to the events of that evening.

Since it was a "big surprise" to so many, I would instead ask how many inquired about the charger?

@Leney, I too would have absolutely reacted to the apparent lack of investigation in the same manner that Penny & family did. It is hard to imagine the stress and absolute fright that a parent would be going through in such a situation. We rely on law enforcement to use every resource available to conduct a thorough and complete logical and unbiased investigation. IMO, it became clear that very first day that was not happening. As a result, a parent must then seek whatever means they have to find answers.

Regarding the phone charger: it is my understanding that the charger found in the Durango was not the case charger but was a "cigarette lighter" type charger cord (I am attempting to locate the two interviews that mention the charging cord). I have no knowledge regarding why Tom would remove the phone from the case charger. However, case chargers in that era were bulky, slightly heavy, and many were prone to early battery failure.

During the illicit recording of the meeting, it appears obvious that Sgt. Kading knew from earlier interviews with Penny that she always had the case charger. As part of the discussion, Kading was simply bringing forth that information ..... not making an accusation. IMO, there was nothing new that was "discovered" by investigators regarding the case charger.

I agree, 10000%. Let the evidence speak for itself. If there's nothing there, then so be it (*I* dont believe its nothing). But let the evidence be heard by peers in the county and see what they think. The delay after delay on the grand jury makes me wonder who all is about to be in some deep trouble. They aren't sitting on this for no reason.

Which reminds me, I am going to call tomorrow.

I agree that those that would of enquired about the charger specifically LE and the PI had been informed by Penny. I as well agree that we rely on LE to utilize every means and most do. Periodically, we come across a case like this when the actions of LE must be questioned.

The leaking, and subsequent editing of the recorded conversation has always seemed deliberate in my mind.

Penny did not elaborate on which charger was found in the Unfound episode save to discuss in detail how Tom disliked his phone losing its' charge, thus they had purchased a specific charger. The tech with respect to the bulkiness had/has improved substantially with respect to the self charging cases. I keep mine on continuously unless it requires charging.

I have two of them thus this is never an issue as I simply swap them out as required.

Edited to Clarify

I was able find a reference to the car phone charger on one of the two audio files that I mentioned in an earlier post. It is an audio interview by KVII (Amarillo, TX) beginning at minute mark 08:47.

Thank you both for these interviews. That is the first time I had heard them.

Klein does state that PG found his remains at 2am in the interview. I thought that was incorrect and it was actually in the afternoon?
I know there has been substantial back and forth with this time, has that been subsequently clarified at a later date?

I appreciate these interviews thank you both !

I hesitated at first to post those links for that very reason, but the rest was so informative, I decided to go ahead with it :).

As I recall, Philip Klein later came out with an audio statement, where he said 2 am was incorrect, and it actually happened during daytime hours.

Also, if you listen to the very beginning of “Chapter 7: The Wake” of Skip Hollandsworth’s Tom Brown’s Body podcast series, Lewis recalls how he and his wife were on their way to her OBGYN appointment in Amarillo when Pyne Gregory called him with the news of finding a skull:

Were Tom Brown's eyeglasses found with his remains?
To the best of my knowledge, no.

According to “Tom Brown’s Body,”

“It was January 9, 2019, two years and two months since Tom Brown had disappeared. Gregory had spotted the skull in a thicket of cottonwood trees while searching the area for deer antlers, which he collects. He’d sprinted back to his truck and phoned Lewis. Soon after, a team of law enforcement officers arrived to search the surrounding area, moving slowly, step by step, for at least a couple hundred yards. They came across a femur, several smaller bones, a pair of tennis shoes, and some remnants of blue jeans. They picked up part of a Texas driver’s license, which looked as if it had been chewed on by an animal. The officers were barely able to discern the name on the license: Thomas Kelly Brown.” (BBM)

Do we know if his eyeglasses were ever recovered?
Not that I’m aware of.

Perhaps there was gunshot damage to them, and the shooter or one of their conspirators might have removed them from the scene, MOO.
