How exactly do you go from murdering and dismembering people to peeing on candy? :waitasec:

What's next? Jaywalking?

Today on Showtime at 4:30 CST, the movie about Robert Durst is showing:

All Good Things...with Ryan Gosling and Kirsten Dunst.

Just now saw this movie. What a scary guy .... :scared:

He is the crazy relative that just won't go away, get imprisoned permanently, or find a "forever" asylum.

His interviews in this mini-series have been quite revealing IMO. I hope the discovery of the letter he wrote to Susan Berman (which matches the handwriting of the anonymous "cadaver" letter) finally brings some charges against this man.

Does this letter implicate Robert Durst in neighbor's murder? Handwriting and misspelling on anonymous note about body VERY similar to letter billionaire sent to friend

Robert Durst, 72, a billionaire, was questioned but not charged in the mysterious death of his first wife Kathleen McCormack in 1982

The 71-year-old was then questioned in 2000 after the death of his longtime friend and elderly neighbor

Police suspect Durst was author of anonymous note sent alerting them to a Susan Berman's body

Now Susan Berman's stepson showed a documentary producer a 1999 letter from Durst to Berman that he said he just discovered

The handwriting appears to be similar to the note sent to police and again Beverly Hills is misspelled on both notes

Yes, I'm watching it. The acquittal in the Texas murder trial is outrageous. Durst is a dangerous guy. But if I didn't know what I know from the media, I would believe him. It's hard to explain, but his diabolical-ness seems well camouflaged. He just appears to be a quirky misfit, not a serial killer.

To me the case in Texas would have been a murder with one question.. Where is the head? It is self defense let us know where the head is to we can give his family a complete man to bury.
That is something he would never do because that head shows it was murder.

Robert Durst is really strange person. Read about him, he had a poor relationship with his family.

I did. His father is a monster IMO. He wakes his 7 yr old son up to say, HEY look Mommy is on the roof right before she jumped. I have to wonder if the father did not put her up to it some how??? It makes no sense that he would want RD to witness that at 7 unless he needed a witness to me.

I think that RD was messed up all through childhood and I believe that we don't know half the story.

I don't feel sorry for him. I think he is a cold blooded murderer and a very adept liar.

I can see shades of Clark Rockefeller in Robert Durst. Durst is a psychopath or a psychotic psychopath.

no wonder his family has restraining orders against him

Robert Durst's brother swears that this incident didn't happen the way Robert described it. According to Douglas, the children were ushered out of the house that evening before their mother climbed on the roof to jump. Douglas Durst maintains that Robert's version of his mother's suicide was a device to gain sympathy from the jury. I'm not sure which brother is telling the truth, but I found it interesting.

We just started watching The Jinx last night- fascinating series. I didn't realize Durst was even out- thought he had been behind bars for years. He's quite the manipulator. And quite creepy. Yet we sat and watched it last night till we couldn't keep our eyes open any longer. An interesting look into a very disturbed guy.

Robert Durst was arrested in New Orleans on warrant from Los Angeles county last night

Will An HBO Documentary Finally Nail Bobby Durst?

https://www.bloomberg.com/politics/f...l-bobby-durst-

Bobby Durst’s closest confidant at the time of Kathie’s disappearance was one Susan Berman, a bright, complicated journalist best known for her memoir, Easy Street, about growing up as mob daughter. (Her father, Davie Berman, was Bugsy Siegal’s partner in Vegas.) Pirro had her investigators call Susan and set up a meeting in Los Angeles, where she lived. Before they got there, she was dead. Two days before Christmas, she’d been murdered, a single bullet to the back of her head

I just saw this news on the media and suddenly realized it's the guy arrested for urinating on candy in a TX CVS. I couldn't work out the LA warrant though as Kathy Durst disappeared in NY. Now I see Susan was killed in LA....

Could it be? I surely hope so.
