It sounds like the police are taking the weekend off. I hope the professional search groups will step up and find her. I have a feeling she is in water somewhere. Just a feeling. There are several small lakes and ponds near her apartment.

I hope so and I wish they'd fly a drone down the Trinity River on the east side of Highway 360 near her apartment.

Some more about Taalibah here:
The story he said, 'She just got in the car and she left,' and I was like, 'Ding!' that's what he told us," said Hadiyah Islam.Hadiyah is the sister of Taalibah Islam, who she said was dating Christopher Revill 10 years ago when she went missing. The couple had a child together, but then he started to hit Taalibah, her sister recalled.
"Once the relationship became abusive, he was not allowed around us," she said.

Taalibah continued the relationship, and the last time her family saw her was when she was leaving with her son to stay at Revill's home for a few days.
"Four days later, I get a phone call say, like, she's not here anymore. And I'm like, 'Well, where is she?' And he's like, 'I don't know, she's just not here,'" Hadiyah recalled.

She said Revill dropped his son off with her family, and they haven't heard from him since. He never helped in the search for Taalibah, and while the family did not initially suspect him, they now believe he was involved in her disappearance.
"For her to leave and leave her son, I didn't believe it," Hadiyah said. "He had to have done something."

I'm going to start thread for Taalibah if no one else has already.

A woman heard screams the night Typhenie disappeared:
“I heard a scream, and then I heard a man's voice yelling,” she explained. “And then I heard a scream again. And then it stopped.”

Midkiff says she just thought it was a couple fighting and didn't think much of it until later in the week when she heard about Johnson’s disappearance just down the street. Her suspicions only grew when she noticed a broken fence near the woods behind her apartment.

“I was telling my roommate I gotta tell somebody because there's something wrong there,” she recalled.

There may be a new search area based on this info.

I don't think she is alive. I'm not sure about the volunteers. Some comments on social media from yesterday said people asked to help and were turned away. Friends and family organized their own searches I think. LE may want to find the body fast now though so they don't have to let him go. Any lawyers know how long they can hold him on kidnapping charges? They only have her brother seeing him close his trunk, her things left in the yard and her clothes at his parents house. They have his car impounded too and may have evidence from that.

I don't think she is alive either and neither is the other girl. What did he do with these girls bodies. I feel like the system really failed the first girl and took his word and just assumed she was a runaway if he would have gotten locked up then this never would have happened with Typhenie.

Well, even Taalibah's family didn't suspect him right away. What gets me upset is that he was paroled early and should have still been in prison. He was sentenced to 5 years for burglary in Nov 2013 and he was paroled in July 2015--less than 2 years of a 5 year sentence and this wasn't his first time in prison. He spent 5 years from 2008-2013 in prison for robbery and assault and re-offended 4 months after getting paroled in 2013. He is a dangerous and unstable person, IMO. I hope they can keep him locked up.

He did something physical with this girl. He walked a long distance carrying her or buried her somewhere. He was sweating profusely when the police saw him after. So he must have done something to make that happen. I think that just tossing her in the river or lake wouldn't create such exertion. And it doesn't say he was wet from a lake/river.
I do wonder if he was prepared for taking her and he made a place ready to receive her.
I hope she is found today.

Family was supposed to talk to the press at 10 AM. Anyone find any live feeds?

Yea that is very true, I wonder why the family didn't pass out flyers or anything it's just like they took his word and that was it.

Do you think its the small wooded area next to the apts or the bigger one across the road? https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place...3d15cf391f16dc5d!8m2!3d32.8173751!4d-97.07187

I'm not sure. I'm looking for other reports that might give the location but haven't found it written anywhere else so far. If the woman heard her screaming and lives "down the street" as the article says then I wonder if Typhenie was taken still alive but knocked unconscious. Then she could have woken up by the time he got to where ever he was taking her and screamed and struggled again. Poor Typhenie :(

They said they didn't have any physical proof he was involved. They might have passed out flyers but, since it was in 2006, there is not much online about whatever her family did back then to try to find her. Although there was internet in 2006, most news articles from that long ago have been taken down or are only in archived search engines.

I hope that family will be able to get closure. She has a son that is about 11 and they said he has no memory of her.

I'm not sure that's him. The profile pic looks to have been updated 8mins ago and in the about me section, it says female.

That girl is saying she is his wife.

That girl is saying she is his wife.

I honestly can't tell if she's for real or not. She claims to have been married to him since 2000 and all this time in the past 16 years he's been in an out of prison and dating other women--even having a child with another woman and his "wife" (if she's real) is still standing by him and claiming he is innocent? What kind of woman is she? She needs to WAKE UP (if she's not some cruel troll out to hurt these families).

One thing I wonder about is if he changed his clothes after he dumped her body somewhere. Police found not only her shirt and her bra in the backyard of his house, they also found a man's shirt. So did he take all her clothes off her, taken his clothes that had evidence on them off, run into his parents' house with a pile of clothes (dropping some in a hurry) and change his clothes, then run back out and go back to the apt? But then he was still soaked through with sweat by the time he got back there. Hmmm....

Looking at this map, I think they need to search that body of water behind Stonecreek Park

And the quarry, it really bothers me for some reason. Maybe because we read CR works in construction?
