Are they looking into this female friend? Wonder if Tyress could’ve been set up for money. MOO
Going by Cameron's previous arrest, I'd say robbery most likely had something to do with his disappearance. It's looking as if she was used as a decoy to get to him.

Kind of like a “Catfish” situation only way more nefarious, obviously. I often say the “not-knowing” or not getting answers must be a special kind of hell. But so is getting answers you dreaded the most, I’m sure. :(

Oh, that interview with his momma...What a strong woman.

This is horrid! Each arrested is held on a 750K bond! They must have some definite intel for that. Praying this momma gets answers.

There's nothing new in this report. With five agencies involved, why is it taking so long to get a confession and disclosure of Tyress' whereabouts? It's time to bring this young man home!

Agencies helping search for Gipson include the Jacksonville Police Department, the Palestine Police Department, Anderson County Sheriff’s Department, the U.S. Marshal’s Service and the Texas Rangers.

I don't understand the silence surrounding this case. What has happened to the four people arrested for Tyress' kidnapping? Why isn't one or more of them talking? Where in the world did they take Tyress? This has gone on for too long and it's too quiet. I'm still praying God will reveal Tyress' location so his family can get some answers and Lady Justice can do her thing.

The new public "find" page on Facebook for Tyress:

Bring Tyress Home

This group has many more photos of Tyress, and many people who miss him. There are a lot of posts, and everyone wants Tyress found! @YaYa_521 linked the first Facebook "find" group on page 1 of this thread, but that group can't be accessed ("Content isn't available at this time. When this happens, it's usually because the owner only shared it with a small group of people, changed who can see it or it's been deleted."). I don't know if the family just changed the name of the group, or they perhaps made the first group private?

Prayer Page for Tyress Gipson & His Family is the original FB page which is run by family members and is now set to private (originally it was a public space). It previously was titled God Please Bring Tyress Gipson Home. I hadn't seen the group Bring Tyress Home until you posted the link, so ty! It doesn't appear to me that the groups have the same admins.

Recounting their last steps
Saturday, December 12, 2020
Gipson, Tyress- Last seen August 22, 2020 in Jacksonville, Cherokee County, Texas, Tyress had just turned 18 and graduated, and was close to his family.

“You can feel the void; it’s like an empty space, and you’re like, you know, there’s supposed to be somebody in this space,” his mother Lavance Wooten told local ABC affiliate KLTV.

On Sept. 4, four Palestine youths were arrested on charges of aggravated kidnapping in connection to Gipson’s disappearance. Derrick D. Hicks, 22, Breonna M. Jimenez, 18, Cameron D. Shead, 28, and an undisclosed 16-year-old were booked in to the Smith County Sheriff ’s Office on a $750,000 bond.

However, Tyress still has not been found. Tyress is 6’0” and weighs 180 pounds. He has tattoos of the name “Lavance,” “BG$” and prayer hands. He is a black man, wears his hair in dreads, and has braces.

Anyone with information should contact the Jacksonville Police Department at 903-586-2549.

It seems they've changed group privileges again. Still no updates which is really hard to understand given there were 4 arrests.:mad:

JACKSONVILLE, Texas (KLTV) - A judge has ruled that the fourth, previously unnamed suspect, in a 2020 kidnapping plot can now be tried as an adult.

Jermaryon Dshun Lane was previously unnamed in the case, however now that he has turned 17, District Judge C. Michael Davis has ruled that he will be tried as an adult. Lane has since been moved to the Cherokee County jail.

Marissa just released a podcast (The Vanished) episode about Tyress Gipson. You can watch it here:
‎The Vanished Podcast: Tyress Gipson on Apple Podcasts

***EDIT by me to add another link to the podcast for those who don’t have or use Apple.

Awesome job once again, her podcast is profoundly helpful to missing people.
What a heartbreaking case. Heartless that not a single one of the four has come clean. Too young to be so messed up already :( praying for his family for some answers, closure, justice and maybe some peace :(

“If he is in the bottom of the river, I’m trying to find somebody right now − I’ve been emailing folks to go and scour the bottom of the river. Where is my son?” Hill-Wooten said.

The answer to that question remains to be seen. In the meantime, the family is keeping his memory alive with pictures of him all throughout their home.

“That’s one thing − people can’t steal your memories. They will forever be with you,” Hill-Wooten said.

I was thinking of Tyress yesterday. I can't believe it's been a year and none of the suspects have spilled the beans on where they left Tyress. :( What will it take to make them talk?
