Looks like Robert Mobley is a male prostitute as he was charged with prostitution. I did a quick lookup on OK law and it seems that if he was a pimp he would have been charged with Pimping or Pandering. anyway. MOO

I don't victim blame. But come on. All the people involved in her death are beyond addicts and the house where it happened at was beyond a party house.

The Palestine newspaper provided a great amount of detail from the arrest affidavits for Henderson and Theurer, but the article is behind their paywall.

I read the article when it was first published and it is quite graphic. I took some notes; the article does not give a cause of death, say exactly how she died, or say who specifically killed her. It does say there were three people present in the house with Vanessa who have knowledge of what happened to her.

Bottom line is that Henderson/Theurer say Mobley brought Vanessa to the house where he beat her and shot her up "repeatedly" with meth because he said she was a snitch.

Was she? Who knows. If Henderson and Theurer are being truthful about Mobley's motivation, it would not even matter if Vanessa was or was not if she was in his methed-up mind.

The Houston County Sheriff says they are waiting on forensics to be completed. He also says he anticipates additional charges will be filed.

No one deserves what happened to Vanessa Melson. The painful reality is that people get hurt in many different ways every day in the meth worlds. I have a difficult time separating the wrongs done from the meth done; meth cannot be had without the worlds of hurt that come with it.

Heart-breaking. Every day. For all of us. No one is immune from the damages.

BBM - That's it! I don't believe either one of them as far as I could throw them. I think that's why no one has been charged in Vanessa's murder yet - LE is still working on getting the truth. Theurer took Vanessa's boots... that a sorry SOS right there!

Well dang! I still don't understand why Mobley hasn't been charged with murder yet??? Obstruction or retaliation ? We know he told the others she was a narc. Is no one willing to say Mobley is the killer? This case is driving me crazy! LE still asking for information regarding the case. Hmmmmm.... who else is going to be arrested?

I also noticed where LE is still asking for info! You have got to be kidding. Then, I wondered, if that request is on every press release they make, kind of like a tag line or signature line.

I am looking at the TX Penal Code for Obstruction or Retaliation and trying to figure out where Mobley fits.

I am reading the information from your link. Thank you. I'm having a hard time making heads or tails of it though.

If Mobley was a Federal informant, but yet he beat poor Vanessa to death because he claimed she was a narc to protect his status, he's still a murderer. He supposedly threatened Henderson and Theurer that he would kill them if they told about Vanessa.

How are you reading that penal code?
