Police are concerned about the well being of a missing woman from Keller, Texas. 24 year old Vanessa Nichol Highfield was last seen inside of her home in Keller, Texas by her roommate around 4:30 pm on the afternoon of Wednesday, November 13, 2019. When Vanessa's roommate came back in the house around 4:37pm, Vanessa was gone.

There is a case number on the pl8pic website, which may be enough to keep the thread up. I can't find any MSM or anything from LE, however.

If you read the info she was booked 11/04. She was last seen by her roommate 11/13 so presumably she has been released since. It has been six days since she was last seen. I would think/hope they have checked with jails and hospitals by now.

However I did notice she was arrested for prostitution. I am not judging but this makes me extremely concerned for her safety. The statistics on victimized sex workers are heart breaking.

Vanessa if you’re well please let someone know! Praying for Vanessa’s safe return tonight....

Hi! New to the group. I noticed in the NAMUS website her last date of contact is 11/6. This is the day she was released from the Tarrant County jail. Her mother had posted on FB Vanessa was missing. She took that post down on the 6th, saying she had been found. I am very confused and I have not seen anything in the local news.

Seven minutes is an incredibly tight timeframe, especially inside her own home. We don’t know yet where the roommate went so for example did she leave the home and come back to find VNH gone? If so was there any sign of forced entry? Or did she go to another room and if so did she hear anything such as a struggle?

The lack of reporting these facts suggests either lazy reporting or that they are absent and it may be that she walked off. Now, given her previous experience as a sex worker, it’s possible she was coerced to leave without physically being taken. For example, come with me or else type of thing.

No judgement on her as I hope she’s found safely ASAP, but there are tons of details missing here that would help narrow this down. Just saying the roommate left and 4:30 and came back at 4:37 is wayyyy too vague. Also 4:37 is an exact time - how did the roommate know to the minute what time it was and why was that a fact she remembered?

Hopefully more will come out soon and VNH will surface safe and sound.

From the link in OP
Authorities believe Vanessa to be a victim, as she left her purse, ID, wallet, and cell phone at the house. Security cameras did not see her leaving in a vehicle or a direction of travel. Vanvessa does not have her own vehicle at this time.

Please add the link to her Namus case, thanks!

Realize this request wasn't directed to me, but I was going to attempt to find the NamUs page but keep getting an error message. Do I have the wrong address? www.namus.gov ? Just keep getting errors each time I try.

It's not her first arrest for this, and she also has drug charges in her past. Was she facing jail time? VANESSA NICHOL HIGHFIELD Inmate 0902553: Tarrant County Jail in Fort Worth, TX

Per Keller PD, she is no longer missing and has been in contact.
No links as I asked personally so IMO.
Hope she gets it together though, I feel bad for re posting her missing info.
Can we delete this thread?

As a thread has to be opened with a valid source (msm or le), a thread will be accordingly tagged and moved to located if a valid source is available. This is also valid for this thread.

Sorry! Just now able to check my email. I looked in the NAMUS website and it is no longer there. It has been removed.
