GUILTY TX - William McMillan, 50, found murdered in burning home, 14 Feb 2008

Karl I bet to this kid that Caddy was like gold.

I suppose it was yes, after all when a kid makes such an unusual choice for a first car (older Cadillac instead of the newer, trendier, sportier cars favored by most teens) there must be something about the vehicle that is very special to him. But what I meant is that a $50,000 bond (not even bail) on a murder charge is unusually low, maybe the prosecution's case is not as solid as it sounds.

Oh the Caddy is a very popular choice amongst the hip hop crowd. They pimp their ride & trick the whole thing out. I am not surprised at all this teen chose a caddy.

You're right of course, I must admit that my opinion was based on the typical teens in my area, who would perceive a Caddy as only suitable for "old" people 35 and over lol. There may be a practical reason for this as well though; one of my friends bought himself a used Lincoln Mark VII when he was 16 years old and restored to mint condition, it required at about 2 years of work if recall well, the car looked very impressive... and very conservative. Unfortunately afterwards when driving it he kept being pulled over by suspicious cops who thought he had stolen it, not the kind of attention a teen craves.
