Missing Autistic Juvenile

The Texas City Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing Autistic juvenile.

Xavion Young, Date of birth 4-2-11. Is missing from Costa Mariposa Apartment located at 7555 Medical Center Drive, Texas City.

Xavion is 4 feet tall, approximately 54 lbs and was last seen wearing grey and white plaid shorts, black and blue Velcro shoes.

Xavion was last seen at approximately 12:15 PM on this date in the complex. Officers are currently searching the surrounding area for Xavion.

NOTE!!! Xavion is nonverbal but will respond to his name.

If anyone has seen Xavion they are asked to contact the Texas City Police Department at 409-643-5730 as soon as possible.

Officers have looked in the area, and have moved their search to a nearby retention pond. According to Young's family, the boy likes to feed a goose at the pond.

Ground Search Activation: Law enforcement authorities have requested the immediate help of Texas EquuSearch to find 7 year-old Xavion Young. Xavion is very much endangered because he is Autistic and non-verbal, and it is of great urgency to find him. The search for Xavion is starting right now. The sign-in area will be in the northeast parking lot of the College of the Mainland, located in the 1200 block of N. Amburn Rd., Texas City, Texas 77591. We will be in need of searchers on foot and ATVs. Please dress appropriately, and bring your own snacks and water. Tim Miller is your Search Coordinator, but all calls shall be made to Koy Murphy.
