According to Nueces County Medical Examiner's Office, 28-year old Yvonne Villanueva's body was found late Wednesday along County Road 63 and County Road 20, just South of Petronila.

in reviewing her fb, it seems as if her childrens father was killed as well as a brother and she has lost A LOT of weight over the past few years. Poor girl, I suspect there will be an arrest at some point though.

Suspect in Corpus Christi woman's death arrested in Travis County

The man wanted in connection with the death two months ago of a 28-year-old Corpus Christi woman is in the Nueces County Jail.

He was arrested in Travis County, and faces charges of assault on a family member and murder. His bail was set at $550,000.

According to an arrest affidavit obtained by KRIS 6 News, a family member told police on June 6 that Perez had asked him to move a couch to the garage at a home on the 4900 block of Weber Road.

When the family member told Perez the sofa was heavy, Perez told him he had something he needed to tell him, something he needed to “take to his grave”.

Perez told him Villanueva had threated to have him beat up, so he he strangled her in his room while she was laying in the bed. He then placed Villanueva in the couch and nailed it shut.
