I know someone has posted this scenario as what possibly happened, but I believe they (family) had RF leave while they cleaned and borrowed the truck for disposal? CE provided the alibi.

Sorry still having problems typing and posting and I updated my Flash player. :banghead:

bbm - This makes a lot of sense to me.

Quoting to bring these pics forward

Oh yes, I can clearly see the steps now behind the guy with the blue gloves. Interesting if this is the steps the neighbors heard a loud thump coming from. I'd love to get a layout of the apartment(s).

Or....the family had a planned trip and RF took them and dropped them off (Zuzu was in the back of the truck, of which he stopped on the way there/back to dispose). Although that is pretty darn risky IMO

According to this, it's the county.

Police were searching throughout Brewster County with “a lot of concentration in Redford in Presidio County,” the Facebook post said. Redford is about two hours south of Alpine on the west end of Big Bend Ranch State Park.

This shows Presidio County neighboring Brewster County where Alpine is.
Presidio sits between Mexico and Brewster County.

Population of Redford, according to the 2000 census, was 132. Wow! More women than men live there.

Who lives in Redford that is connected to this case or is this town of interest based off of cellphone pings? RF's Mom lives in Alpine (8 mins away from SRSU, at most) according to what I am looking at unless she moved. Anyone know?

Back in the early pages, people had found Robert's Facebook page but it couldn't be linked because he had yet to be identified. Is his page still up, and if so could someone post a link if that's within the rules?

Also, where is it stated that the neighbor heard a thump? All I saw so far was that he heard an argument. I apologize if all this is readily available here, I just haven't seen it!

Nobody lives there that I'm aware of but it is one of the areas the drones have been searching. May very well be based on phone pings

None of the revelations come as a surprise to John Franco, who lives directly below Fabian in an apartment complex across from Sul Ross State University.

"That night, we heard arguing," said Franco. "I can hear him pacing back and forth, in the kitchen, living room, all around, all around.”

Franco said his girlfriend woke him up a short time later.

“Going down the stairs, we heard a loud thump. This is around 4 in the morning," said Franco. "I only wish we had done something."

Here you go. The link to the article is: http://www.12news.com/news/nation-n...ould-be-key-in-missing-student-case/342578397. The article states “Going down the stairs, we heard a loud thump. This is around 4 in the morning," said Franco. "I only wish we had done something."

Also, the neighbor is interviewed in the video at the same link. Worth the watch.

That's what I thought too and I hope they are able to get CCTV footage too. It's a border town so there should be lots of camera footage - thinking back on the picture a local poster posted - lots of cameras. I think Redford was chosen because it's all about location, location, location and probably very desolate.

I'm still catching up. Wow, you guys were quick as soon as the site was back up!

This morning I was thinking about the suspect. I put myself in his friend's shoes (as an innocent party), whose car is still in police custody. I'd be telling my friend to get it together, not only for the obvious reasons (ZuZu, her family, justice), but if this guy isn't involved, his life is being turned upside down! Same for his family. I hope they're not involved, and telling him to do the right thing. I'm really glad to see this added pressure. But I'm also a bit concerned, because if those others are truly innocent, they are now victims, too.

Search warrants piece together Zuzu Verk investigation

Search warrants obtained by CBS 7 reveal details which led police to the seizure of vehicles owned by friends and family of now-suspect Robert Fabian, the missing woman’s boyfriend.

Those warrants reveal Robert Fabian first reported his girlfriend missing on Friday, October 14th at 1:00 p.m. However, he told police that his girlfriend had been missing since the early morning hours Wednesday.
Fabian told police he had last seen and spoken to Verk at his home at around three or four in the morning Wednesday, October 12th.

They also reveal two phone calls and Snapchats which may prove key to the investigation. Police say Robert Fabian made two phone calls to his friend Chris Estrada at around 3:15 am on October 12th. He later contacted Estrada on Snapchat.

Estrada recently took part in a polygraph test by police but was not cleared as a person of interest, according to Chief of Police Russell Scown.

Enter the 2016 White Ford Mustang taken into custody and searched by police – warrants say it belongs to Estrada.

Search warrants allege Fabian and Estrada used the Mustang to “conceal” property and “physical evidence” to show that Fabian has knowledge of Verk’s disappearance. Authorities asked for DNA, hair, blood or other evidence found in the vehicle.

CE said ZuZu has never been in his car. I screenshot that statement a few days ago. We'll find out if he's lying soon enough.

Another great piece of information from the article states: "Another vehicle was searched for fingerprints and evidence--a gray Ford F-150 pickup. James Carrillo told police that Fabian stopped by his house in the middle of the night on October 12th to borrow the truck. James told authorities his wife woke him up, asking for the keys for Fabian to borrow the truck." We might want to add this to the timeline.

...and he didn't find this strange? Asking for his truck in the middle of the night?

Ooh, so HE reported her missing? And he was the one to see her at 4 AM? Now I wonder, did anyone else see her? I wonder if he ran to the police station to report her missing right after talking to her mom on the phone?
