I've read some of the details, and given the circumstances regarding Zuzu's dissapearance, I believe she may be deceased. I really hope I'm wrong and that she's hiding from her boyfriend.

Ok, earlier in this thread when RF was just a POI and not a Suspect yet I was told by other posters (not a mod) that we could not say his full name until he was named a suspect. I went back and edited my timeline to only initials out of caution. I was operating under the impression that a POI is someone the police are interested in talking to and could be a future suspect or could be a witness. Would someone please get a mod's ruling on the rules?

A mod will clarify, that's best.

My take is we couldn't sleuth RF at that time because even though LE had said Zuzu's BF was a POI, they hadn't officially named him, neither had MSM. Once the family name dropped him and media picked up his name then we could. That is the difference I believe, LE or MSM need to name them, not just say a relative or friend or associate is a POI they need to actually put the name in print.

LE have stated CE is a POI and has not been cleared. I'm pretty sure he is sleuthable but will wait for clarification from the PTB

3-4 AM - RF 'claims' to have last seen Zuzu at his apt. Witnesses say her car was still there

4 AM - Neighbours hear a thump on the stairs. One goes to look and sees RF leaving

RF goes to his sisters house in the middle of the night/early hours, to borrow the F-150 truck

CE picked RF up from the same address (as above, sisters house) and drove him home to Harrison.

Freaked out and left? RF calls him and says you have to help me, or I'll say you did it. Unless it was both of them.

This could even shed a bit of light on RF lawyering up so fast and keeping quiet, maybe to try and point fingers at CE, put more pressure on him as the perp.

Ageee. I have not been able to fit the 1:00 a.m. CE visit to a friend into the Wednesday morning timeline without turning into a pretzel. I will be very surprised if the visit CE paid to his friend was NOT 1:00 a.m. Thursday morning. The friend could have misspoken or the officer could have done a typo. It happens.

Agree. They said RF called CE twice in the early morning hours of RF last being with Zuzu. But I'm not sure what time RF and CE actually met up.

Excellent recap Skibaboo. You may be onto something. I think CE being at the RF's place is possible because RF and Zuzu had gone to the movies earlier with "a group of friends" (and we still have not learned what time the movie was or what they saw). Was CE one of the friends at the movie? There were rumors that Zuzu and RF left the movie early because they were arguing. Maybe CE left with RF and they went back to RF's place. Then maybe Zuzu showed up to RF's apartment to try smooth things over. Neighbor interview made it sound like RF arrived home first and put on music. Then Zuzu arrived and they had dinner--maybe she cooked dinner for them?

Robert Fabian is a named suspect of law enforcement and his name appears in their statements and in the MSM as such. He may be sleuthed and his full name may be used.

Prior to being named by LE and by MSM as a suspect he was a POI and use of his initials was recommended when speculating about his involvement. That is no longer the case.

POI refers to someone police are looking at or are interested in speaking to
Suspect is much clearer, meaning not only are they looking at him they suspect him of involvement

She was finishing up her Junior year but she had transferred to Sul Ross from another Texas University last year. Zuzu had only been dating Robert for 6 months off and on. Yet CE says he saw Zuzu a year ago. Making it seem like CE met Zuzu first and apart from her being Robert's girlfriend. Did Zuzu date CE a year ago when she first transferred to Sul Ross and that is why he wants to distance himself from this crime more by saying he had not seen her? Maybe the argument that night was caused by jealousy?

I think Monday night was the group free movie with friends. And then late night Tuesday night was RF and Zuzu supposedly going to a movie by themselves. Which will lead them being together early Wednesday morning.

So CE may wasn't there until after RF frantically called him twice around 4am Wednesday. Idk

I wonder if there was evidence on the license plate (or under it) and LE had removed it for processing before taking pictures? Everyone commented how CLEAN her car looked in the photos of it behind caution tape behind her apt. Also, I know we had a local who said the dent in her car was there before she went missing but I still want to hear the story behind that.

I was one of those who commented about her car being clean and pointed out the dent. I believe the local who said it was already there but like you, I'm still interested how it got there. It's in an unusual place and it was done with force based on the depth. I had a dent in my Miata due to backing in to a tree (blind spot) and it wasn't as deep as that. The Miata is made out of steel and where that dent is located is strong due to the curvature of the metal.

The question that comes to my mind is what did RF do or say in the previous weeks that would cause Zuzu to tell her high school friend/sweetheart she wanted to move and she felt unsafe? Some thing happened for sure but what? It's a question that may never be answered unless some things are being held back.

Regarding jealousy, I believe an insider on the last thread indicated that there was a problem at the movie concerning a guy ZuZu was not quite dating yet. She left with someone (not sure it was RF) and went to a different movie. I'll try to locate the post, but have at it if you can remember it.

CE stated (on APD which has been deleted) that RF & Zuzu had been dating for a year. That threw me because media had reported 6 months. I wish I had screen grabbed that whole convo.

He can delete all he wants, I'm certain APD still has those comment's. He is not as smart as he thinks he is.

I think it was stated that Zuzu had a cafe meet with the guy friend right prior before going to meet RF.

Which suggests his motive was jealousy because he probably knew that her and the guy friend may have had some mutual feelings. Idk

A year might have been a stretch on his part. But very possible since he lives/works in Marathon and is not really in the same social circle.

I found that year thing suspect from the get-go. CE and RF were apparently very close. Close enough that CE was the person RF called on/counted on to help him get rid of Zuzu. You don't usually call on distant friends or random strangers for that. There has to be a high level of trust there. Alpine is a small town. I live in an equally small town out here. In the course of a month, I probably see, collectively, 85% of the population just by living here, running errands, grocery shopping, etc. I see people I'm close to and their significant others on a regular basis. I call BS on his story.

At the time I was thinking "OK this guy has nothing to hide" because he's forthcoming with info. Boy was I wrong (based on his 1am comment in the SW). He is in deep you know what.
