Possibly. But I know for a fact that Zuzu graduated from high school in 2013, so that *could* be where that date is coming from.

No trees were destroyed in the sending of this message, however, a significant number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.

It was Robert graduating from Sul Ross. Now I'm curious, so I'll look for the obscure link.

ETA: Here it is. 2013. Scroll down to Alpine graduates. He got a BS in biology, magna laude. I found it interesting because his FB page says his degree is in chemistry.

Does anyone kind of feel like the neighbor has it out for RF?

Some of the neighbor accountings fill the gap between facts that can be proven, like calls and truck borrowing. But, is it possible the neighbor is embellishing?

I'm sure he does know more than he's saying. LE asked him not to share certain details. I don't really get a bad vibe from him. I just hope he didn't say things he shouldn't.

The neighbor told the press he was asked by the police not to talk about what he knows so I think this is a given. I see no malicious intent on the part of the neighbors. I've lived in apartments where you could hear everything going on in your neighbor's place. I find it somewhat hard to believe they remembered so many specific times of certain things (times of music, dinner, yelling, bed shaking, shower, thump on the stairs, etc) but maybe those sounds were not normal coming from RF's apt for that time of night. The neighbors would have to be awake most of the night or the sounds were loud enough it woke them up each time and they looked at the clock annoyed.

Ok so mom calls her back about 6pm that Tuesday and her phone goes straight to VM. What if something did happen earlier Tuesday evening?

That jumped out at me too. I get the impression her Mom also texted using all caps and ZuZu didn't answer. Do we know who else was with her Tuesday evening at the movie? I thought there was group. Or was that Monday? Must check timeline.

ETA: Yes, timeline says the Tuesday movie was with RF and a group of friends. No link given. Was this from an insider?

I seem to be stuck on the BIL's truck right now. Maybe RF knew what kind of tools were stored in the truck, what would he need tools for, what kind of tools were in the truck? He may have needed to cut a fence or something. Were there other keys on the truck key ring, keys to what, gates possibly?

Me too. What did it have that he/his car didn't? He left his house in his car at 4a and borrowed the truck during the early morning hours (according to search warrant).
For now, I'm going to assume he didn't give his sis or BIL a true story as to why he needed it. Since it was a last minute borrow, he probably didn't keep it very long or take into risky terrain. And last minute, he wouldn't know how much gas was in it. So, he must not have planned to take it very far. Maybe he needed a jump start (not to make light of things, but that would be really hilarious).

I keep thinking of the dozens of abandoned properties on the south side of town (several without close neighbors and also in the neighborhood surrounding his BIL's place).

Purely speculative here. What if he went to one of them with plans of hiding her inside? But when he got there, he couldn't get in. Most are pretty decayed and the windows and doors are all boarded over. He would have needed a crowbar or hammer to get the boards off neat enough to put back in place. Maybe even a drill. The train comes through at all hours of the night/morning and would mask the sound of a drill, btw.

LE says these properties have been searched, but I find it hard to believe they have searched each one fully inside. If there was a body in a couple of plastic bags or a sealed bin buried under rubble inside an unsearched building, how close would someone have to be to smell it?

A few locals have commented that the group movie was Monday and Tuesday was just RF and Zuzu but all the media sources report a group movie date on Tuesday so that is what the timeline says.

If she went to an early evening movie she could have turned her phone off while in the theater around 6 PM. Is her mom's comment about texting in all caps being taken out of context or was her mom concerned and texting in all caps on Tuesday when she didn't hear from Zuzu for an hour?

The Gym seems to be accurate because it is in the search warrants. I would even go so far as to guess that is how she met RF--he likes to lift weights and workout according to his FB.

BRI was probably an internship or companion to coursework.
Work at SRSU gym would be very part time.
Dollar General would be for actual money.

In any case maybe the boyfriend used it as a distractor, because there are no news stories (that I'm aware) about the DG employement.

And we all know how reliable MSM is. <snark> So much of the time they misquote people and perpetuate each other's errors. Both my husband and I have been misquoted in local newspapers. Drives me nuts, but I have a lot of sympathy for the stress and deadlines they deal with, so I try to cut them some slack. But I don't view MSM as consistently accurate. JMO
