If she went to an early evening movie she could have turned her phone off while in the theater around 6 PM. Is her mom's comment about texting in all caps being taken out of context or was her mom concerned and texting in all caps on Tuesday when she didn't hear from Zuzu for an hour?

Rangra showings are typically 6:30 & 9:30, so that would make sense if they did go to a movie before having dinner at RF's place. It's not the type of theater to police cell phones, though.

And we all know how reliable MSM is. <snark> So much of the time they misquote people and perpetuate each other's errors. Both my husband and I have been misquoted in local newspapers. Drives me nuts, but I have a lot of sympathy for the stress and deadlines they deal with, so I try to cut them some slack. But I don't view MSM as consistently accurate. JMO

Agree, but I can't change the timeline without an official source (MSM or police or documents or a verified insider). Comments on fb don't count.

Can I ask your source for the group movie being Monday night? I'm not doubting what you are saying but all the media reports have said Tuesday.

Monday night is free for students. I have confirmation from two of the people that were in the group on Monday night that she and RF were there and left early (to go to the other screen). I can't confirm if she went or not on Tuesday as she was not with anyone I know.

Thanks Kuriouser. I can't change the timeline on hearsay but this does make me think of a few possible scenarios for what really happened:

1. Group movie night was always on Monday (and she never went to the movies Tuesday) but at some point the press got it wrong and no one bothered to correct them.

2. Group movie night was Monday. RF and Zuzu also went to another movie alone on Tuesday.

3. Different groups of friends went to the movies BOTH Monday and Tuesday with RF and Zuzu and that is why we have both versions of the day of the movie being told around town.

4. Group Movie night was Monday and the only day Zuzu and RF went to the movies but RF lied about which day they went to the movies to try to cover up that they had dinner and fought at his place Tuesday night.

All just speculation.

I have read something like that as well but not sure if it was just here or a news article.
I also remember comments about the possibility RF was upset/jealous over this.

I recall reading that as well and I don't believe it was in SM. If I recall correctly, it was reported when they were talking about the free movie one night and the group movie. That's exactly what was written and at that time I thought that this could very well be what set RF off. I also thought I read that this person she met with earlier came to the movie with everyone and he was a potential "love interest" for Zuzu. And then I thought, maybe that report was wrong, because Zuzu went back to RF's apartment and that kinda indicated to me that they were "on again" as opposed to "off".

So much seemed to go on over those two days that I'm somewhat confused now about who really did what. The neighbours' accounts might include some red herrings so it's hard to believe a lot now unless it comes directly from LE.

We should assume the neighbor knows what they were arguing about, since he could clearly hear everything else, including them cooking, and things that happened downstairs and outside.

Depends on how well he could hear their words/conversation, IMO. AFAIK the only words the neighbor has revealed he heard were "shut the F up". Hearing something that is yelled in anger is easier than if someone is having a normal level of conversation. There probably were other things yelled that we may not find out about for a long time.
