Yes, 3 times. I want to ask him why he wanted to clean his car so bad. It's a nice car, but still ? And why didn't he get it cleaned in the town where he lived? Inquiring minds want to know.

Even though Marathon is 25 miles away, residents have to travel to Alpine for most services and shopping needs. There are only a couple of options for car detailing in Alpine. The nearest metro area is Midland, 160 miles away.

If I were to go to Alpine, I would definitely visit the Car Cleaners. Sounds like he does an excellent job of cleaning cars.

I want to know if RF got his car and his BIL's work truck cleaned and WHERE and WHEN those vehicles were cleaned. It's odd, IMO that the gas station owner doesn't mention cleaning those vehicles. If RF had those vehicles cleaned someplace else (out of town?) why not offer to take care of his friend CE's vehicle too? It's like he left his friend CE on his own to get his vehicle clean. Was he trying to frame CE or did they just not think of cleaning his vehicle for some reason until Friday?

Excellent question. I believe RF's car and his BIL's work truck were probably top priority to be cleaned. It's almost as if CE was panicking when he realized his car might not be cleaned before it was searched. RF certainly covered his tracks for now it seems. Seems like RF might have done some planning. He is the one that reported Zuzu missing albeit at her mother's request. I think he has something held over CE's head.

In the 1st week, there was a lady who posted on FB (APD?) that she saw Zuzu's little car parked at RF's as late as 10:30am that next morning (remember? There was a pic that said her car was parked where the truck with the trailer was parked?). To me, that's rules out any idea that a random abduction happened at her residence while walking her dog. Just trying to review any and all situations and I can't get past RF....she didn't go home that night or early in the morning. Her car was still at his house when she was supposed to be taking her exams based on that poster. I don't have a screen shot. I'll search to see if it's still there.

I'll vouch for what you remember about the car. Yes, it all comes back to RF. He must have let the dog out since LE said the dog sent them in that direction. I wonder if anyone noticed who returned her car to her apartment.

RF's sister and her husband are POI's and related to the only suspect. At this point, there is no way they would be allowed to join in searching for ZuZu. And I shudder to think what damage they could have done if they had searched for her before becoming POIs. Let's be grateful they stayed away, whatever the reason was.

True, they should not be involved in the search, but what about handing out fliers, spreading awareness on social media, or cooperating with police? There are strangers that have done more to bring Zuzu home than they have.

Praying today is the day ZuZu is found. Please look in the areas the suspect would go to hunt, fish, etc. bit has to be an area he knows well. His friends would know the areas he frequented for recreation.

Zuzu's mother posted that they "got news from the grand jury, but not really" yesterday afternoon, but didn't elaborate. I pray they are able to locate Zuzu very soon.

No trees were destroyed in the sending of this message, however, a significant number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.

Thinking back to Christina Morris' case, her boyfriend did search (the first week I believe and LE was right there) and he did post to social media (Christina's FB page) about her missing. He was never accused of not cooperating with the investigation. I think, more than physically searching, LE wants to hear a significant other is willing to search and help find the person. Anything LE perceives as not being helpful and wanting to help find the missing person will immediately be taken as this person is not cooperating and it will be made public through the press that you most definitely are not cooperating with the investigation.

I do find it favorable that CE was willing to take a lie detector test. The results were inconclusive, but LE said CE was cooperating with the investigation. RF ? The only thing he did was report her missing. No lie detector test - not cooperating. No offer to search - not cooperating.

The truth will set you free Robert! How can you live with yourself? This is not going away - EVER! Do the right thing and give Zuzu's family and law enforcement some answers. Please. Bring Zuzu home!

so the saying goes 'nothing good happens after midnight'. Totally speculating, wondering if RF was using steroids, buying them off the street. Could CE have been making a delivery to RF, and again speculation, if CE was providing steroids, then no telling what else was coming from the pill mill. Could Zuzu have seen something she shouldn't have, could RF have given her something, pills for example, and it went terrible wrong? Then calls CE 'hey dude what did you give me, something bad happened" IDK!

Thanks, Lilibet. Couldn't find the pic again. If her car was moved from his house around 10am, I wonder when it was driven back to hers and who drove it. And if it was hidden somewhere until dark, if so, where? Will they find Zuzu where the car was hidden? Storage unit? Old barn? Out of town past her house so not to be seen bringing her car home through town. Ugh! Where are you, Zuzu???

Alpine walks to honor Zuzu Verk and family

ALPINE, TX (KWES) -
Rose petals are scattered on the streets of Alpine. They're a reference to Zuzu Bailey's petals from the film It's A Wonderful Life, but Zuzu Verk's flower petals here are more than just roses.

"We want people to walk around Alpine and see the petals and think of her," said event coordinator and family friend Jackie McDonald.

Zuzu's supporters walked in downtown Alpine to honor Zuzu and her family through the long five weeks since her disappearance Sunday afternoon. (...)
