The reporter pointed towards the bend in the road and said it was just around there, but I couldn't personally see exactly where.

Deep down, I do not think CE made any effort to help find Zuzu. I just dont think he has the character qualities in him to do the right thing.

And in hindsight - I am betting right about now CE is wishing he had been more cooperative. RF as well.

According to Sheriff Dodson, as of now they plan to send the remains to Dallas where they will be identified. They also hope to gather evidence from the remains while in Dallas.

At this time, Sheriff Dodson cannot confirm whether or not the remains are those of missing Alpine student Zuzu Verk.

He did confirm with CBS 7 that Zuzu Verk is the only current missing persons case in the area.

If you look closely there is a dirt road that takes off of Wagon Rd just after Rum Rd (the straight one) and rejoins Wagon just before the split within your red circle. That would be a fairly hidden place not visible from Wagon, I think.

The evidence collection and processing may take several days. The remains are expected to be taken to University of North Texas on Monday for identification.

Oh the irony of them taking the remains to UNT, as that is where Zuzu was in school at before Sul Ross.

Bones are scattered across a very large area. Will be out there all night

No other information apart from it is a human, we aren't looking for anyone else.

Remains being sent to Dallas, hope to have ID by Mon/Tues

Lots of agencies involved, including homeland security

There is some clothing and other really crucial evidence.

Won't comment on if it is a female
